  1. We traded for Diggs and signed Von Miller. It didn't work, did it. Also what you call going "all in" wasn't really in some of the cases you cited.
  2. This analysis ignores a pretty huge fact. 4 of 5 losses came against the same team that eventually went to the Super Bowl and won it 3X. That same team that gets the preponderance of refs calls. So you're up against a very good team that also gets bailed out by the officials a lot. Everyone thinks they found the "DaVinci Code" that unlocks the secret of winning. In reality games are won and lost on a handful of plays. A dropped pass, a bad penalty, a bad penalty that wasn't even a penalty, a missed kick. One play can lose you any game. The secret of winning is 1) execute, 2) don't beat yourself, 3) hope the refs don't screw you.
  3. Let me guess. The committee is made up of mostly SEC and Big Ten types?
  4. Which is absurd. He's a first team all American, MAC defensive player of the year, and he led all of FBS in tackles. Now tell me why he doesn't deserve a spot on a senior all star team or combine invite? If anything those "experts" don't know S##t.
  5. I don't feel that just making the playoffs is good enough. But I don't believe making a change is the answer. We are close and I'd rather keep what we have than roll the dice on a new regime. There's this belief that making a change won't affect what we have now and can only make things better. And I think it's more likely making a coaching and/or GM change will unravel what we have.
  6. Because Buffalo is a relatively poor market without enough population. We don't have the corporate presence that buys luxury suites at arenas and stadiums. Like I said before, were lucky to have the Bills and Sabres because we got them when we were a more thriving area.
  7. There's something about the WNY mindset. While we get insulted when anyone talks crap about us, we also feel inadequate and undeserving of success. It's almost as if we prefer to always be losing because we know that feeling so well. We don't know how to act when we win.
  8. It can't be that hard. Just open up Madden NFL and look up players scores. 🤪
  9. This is why some fans expect the Bills to roll over teams and get mad when they don't.
  10. He's "Morman" than I'll ever be. 😂 On a whim yesterday I called into One Bills Live and asked Chris Brown what he thought of Dolac and his snubs. He didn't address that much, though he agreed it was weird. But he did say that that plenty of scouts will be attending UB pro day and that's what really matters.
  11. He was also the MAC DPOY. The mind boggles.
  12. It's their only pro team. We have a D1 university named after our city. They had ranked football and basketball teams in the past 10 years.
  13. And 14th overall. It's not that surprising. During the drought we were rarely at the bottom. We were endlessly 6-10 or 7-9. Not good enough for the playoffs, not bad enough for a high pick. Also notice how the best is separated from the worst by only .200.
  14. I just read that we don't want good players on the Bills.
  15. Where did this notion that we don't want to sign good players come from? FYI, we have a lot of dead cap to clear from the Diggs trade. Remember Stefon Diggs? The WR we traded so Josh would have a #1 target? Yeah, how about that. Maybe we do care.
  16. Maybe we should lose all our teams because we suck so much.
  17. Two reasons. 1) Utah State coach that recruited him left. 2) Remember UB was a cluster**** under Mo Linguist, which he made worse when he left late for Alabama. But Lembo made a good impression on players who stayed, many who kept in touch with Dolac. Between the uncertainty at Utah State and the positive vibes coming from UB, Shaun decided to come back. Turned out to be a good choice. What do you base that assessment on? Because he played in the MAC? If there was a similar player in another conference who led the nation in tackles, would you have the same take? I'll be happy to add him to the Bills. We need more talent at LB.
  18. You left out: effort. Where is the consistent effort? Why do players do great one year and disappear the next? Injuries maybe. But do some players get too comfortable?
  19. It's a bad sign when an agent/player take things public. It's a "nuclear option" designed to put public pressure on the team. To do it this early shows bad faith from the player's camp. Especially when the Bills under this regime has shown a desire to do right by players.
  20. How do you know it's not funny if you don't watch? (Actually, it's hit-or-miss. Some nights are great, some suck, most fall in between.)
  21. No question we could have drafted better. But it's also disappointing to see players that showed they can be great but don't make the effort. Almost everyone on our D line had a great start but never took it to the next level.
  22. Players have to make plays. What's Oliver's excuse?
