  1. Except Von occupies a roster spot that can't be used on said younger player.
  2. Joe Marino of Locked on Bills feels that keeping Von takes snaps from a younger player the Bills might draft or sign. I can see the point.
  3. So death by sous vide? (I know, I'm going to hell.)
  4. Really? Martin was pretty decent.
  5. I'd rather see us draft a Josh Allen prototype QB. Not a big name but someone with some raw skill that we can stash on the PS for a couple years to develop.
  6. How did it get the name "onside?" I have a guess.
  7. https://www.espn.com/united-football-league/story/_/id/44129422/players-ufl-threatening-release-skipping-media-days-amid-labor-strife Not getting better soon.
  8. That and consumer confidence in general going forward. Considering how much he relies on Canadians to buy tickets for both teams? Probably not. My question is will they go to the 300's before the non-club 200's? And what about seniority? Does that matter at all? Is someone who only got their seats recently going to be given a chance before folks with 20+ years?
  9. You're gonna let the Sabres spoil your enjoyment of the Bills? Everyone gets the vapors over season ticket holders selling tickets when teams are good. But how often do the same season ticket holders eat those tickets when the team blows?
  10. The last game at Highmark/Ralph Wilson/Rich Stadium will be a national game.
  11. UB Football schedule announced! Couple of points: This year is a rare 7-5 home/away schedule. UB will play 7 home games. I'm a little surprised they didn't try to get a second pay-for-play date with a P5 school. They do open at Minnesota. More home dates mean more potential UB/Bills game weekends. Always nice to have. One away game is at UMass, a mere 2 hours drive for me. Only two mid-week "MACtion" games. (@CMU 11/12, vs MIA 11/19) Which is good because Tuesday/Wednesday games suck. But take note of the final game: Friday Nov. 28, "Black Friday." UB played a Black Friday at what was then Ralph Wilson Stadium against Bowling Green in 2014, their 2nd largest home attendance game, over 26,000. I wonder if that might happen again? @Buffalo716 Time to update this to "2025 UB Football Thread."
  12. I can't believe how slow the process is. I'm in the "Rockpile" 200's. And it might be another year before they get to me.
  13. I don't know. Probably not if they are striking over that.
  14. These are people who bought season tickets for years when they sucked. Nice reward for your loyalty.
  15. So the NFL is telling loyal fans in London they can no longer buy their season tickets for London Series games. The excuse is the league wants other fans to have access to games. But the reality is those tickets are getting sold to US travel agents for excursion packages, which defeats the whole purpose of international games. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/nfl-ends-season-tickets-for-london-games-at-tottenham-hotspur-stadium
  16. Money is part off the issue, but health insurance coverage is a big thing. Imagine you get injured in a game late in the season and your heath coverage ends with the season? Your surgery and rehab is out of your pocket. That's BS.
  17. My current favorite combo is white pizza with garlic, spinach, tomato and feta.
  18. You risk your body playing football. The least the league can do is keep your health insurance in force after the season. That's one of the issues.

  20. There are 20 players in the NFL right now that played spring ball. Every year a hundred spring players at least get invited to an NFL camp. https://www.theufl.com/news/ufl-to-nfl-numbers-continue-to-make-a-significant-impact-in-the-nfl
