  1. Let's admit the reputation of journalists is based on the opinion one bloated, orange-skinned, narcissist who lies like people breathe. Those who share this opinion are mindless followers of said bloated one
  2. Except the boss never said that. A reporter did.
  3. Should they just leave incorrect stories up?
  4. See. Graham throws this aside into the story and you zoom in on it. Mission accomplished. Two months ago a billionaire ordering a yacht is perfectly normal. Now him pausing his order is proof of what a big a--hole he is. Well played, Mr. Graham.
  5. I take it you've never read his posts when he did post here, or read some of his twitter flame wars? He's a talented writer but he's also a bit of an egomaniac and has skin as thin as onion peel. He also nurses grudges like a pro.
  6. Best new unis I've seen this year.
  7. Well the only other problem I see it's the 45 minute limit on free account meetings, but I suppose I could just restart it every time. Same link and password should work.
  8. I'm hoping the NFL will chill out with the new stadium push for a while, until we know what we're heading for. This was the about the time the Pegulas were going to make their pronouncement. If a new stadium was to be built they'd have to say so now so they'd have time to build it before the current lease expired. So what now? A short extension with the county?
  9. Unlike the NFL, the NHL prizes it's Buffalo fan base. We carry their TV ratings.
  10. One highlights the emotion of disgruntled employees and casts aspersions. The other highlights the economic picture.
  11. Yes but both paint completely opposite pictures and generate different emotions.
  12. I totally don't get this take. And you just said Graham can't be bought off...yet you suggest Kim Pegula would get more screen time if she "played ball?" Curious.
  13. Just a thought. Might be fun.
  14. I thought this was from a tweet from a legit source. Boo this man! Booo!
  15. Well you have to admit this is different.
  16. I do have a subscription. I am aware of the Kim rebuttal. I'm also aware of the Buffalo News story the same topic. https://buffalonews.com/2020/04/19/buffalo-bills-buffalo-sabres-terry-and-kim-pegula-nfl-nhl-oil-prices/ It reads a weeee bit diferently.
  17. But the two stories are 180-degrees apart in focus. One focuses on the business, the other on the personal.
  18. And no one is disputing the Pegulas business acumen. They ain't good.
  19. It would be bad form for the NFL to be pushing for one now.
  20. Why can't it be both? It probably is both. But the Athletic's focus is on one side, the one that damages the reputation of the team owners the most. Have you read this article? https://buffalonews.com/2020/04/19/buffalo-bills-buffalo-sabres-terry-and-kim-pegula-nfl-nhl-oil-prices/ Take a look and tell me if this looks like good journalism to you as well?
  21. Well trust us old timers who know the history some local reporters have with the Pegulas.
  22. He still has billions (well, used to be billions) in mineral rights. Right now they are near worthless, though I'm sure they will bounce back some. While you can fault their business acumen, I don't fault their reaction to seeing their wealth evaporate.
  23. I have not forgotten the very first one-on-one the Pegulas had with the Buffalo News sports staff in 2014. The die was cast then.
