My pasta came out like Polish "kluski" if anyone is familiar with those. More "starchy dumpling" than tender pasta.

I tried making pasta once. Came out like crap.

Cooper Kupp leaving the Rams. Want him?

Do we have any slot receivers now? Maybe there's one designated that way, but I feel we never really replaced Cole Beasley. Josh thrived when he had Baez. -
Super Bowl ticket prices cratering.
PromoTheRobot replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
True. It would take some real willpower to not watch come Sunday night. But like I said, if you don't want to contribute to the ratings measurement, watch over the air TV, assuming you don't have a Nielsen measuring device on your set that week. -
Being a Bills fan (or any sports fan) in Antarctica

Good story. Paywall may or may not kick in. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/02/04/business/buffalo-bills-afc-antarctica.html "Until recently, high-speed internet access was limited, when it was available at all. A participant manual from 2018 cautioned: “Large downloads and streaming media have a negative impact on everyone else. Sports fans, then, would save up their internet rations for game times." -

If you can bear to not watch the Super Bowl, you can help drive down the ratings. Especially if you use a streaming service like YouTube TV. You're viewing is instantly reported to the Nielsen Ratings. At least watch on over-the-air TV or at a bar. And if you happen to be a Nielsen household this week, don't turn the TV on Sunday night. -

No matter who the goalie is, the Sabres stand around and watch other players skate around them. Dominic Hasek would suck with these guys playing in front of him. This is a red herring. First, "so much cap space" was $7MM this year. There are teams that have even more space available. Second, it's not like Adams didn't try to sign some expensive players. Ehlers and Necas are two this offseason. Both said no. So is the idea to just spend that cap on anybody? Find some $4MM guy and pay him $10MM just to make a point?

I didn't know you can win 15 games with bad coaching and no talent. -
That's our luck. Everyone was so thrilled we "swung for the fences." Keep this in mind next time we get the urge to go all-in on the next 30-something superstar.

Not using James Cook on final drive a head scratcher
PromoTheRobot replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall
The belief that because you saw a play or player do something good, that always doing the same thing will work. All people said after the Ravens game was how stupid the Bills were not to sneak Josh twice from the 2 yard line. This week we saw the Bills commit to only sneaking Josh on short yardage and he got stuffed. So what changed? One week it's a no brainer, this week that becomes "stupid." -

Finally, someone drilled down to the root cause of our failure to advance. By the way, how did we do in those red helmets? Remind me.

Hot Take: Does Bobby Babich Lose His Job?
PromoTheRobot replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
Are you the kind of fan who counts winning quarters? Bottom line, our offense had the chance to win. The defense gave Josh the ball with enough time to win the game. You can run away from that fact all you want. It doesn't change reality. Refs, injuries, Tay Tay, it's always something with us. -
Great article on Lembo. Did you know the UB Bulls had the third FEWEST" players enter the portal? Wow. https://www.si.com/college/group-five/mac/pete-lembo-attributes-buffalo-bulls-2024-success-to-less-is-more-mentality

WRONG! 29 is not "good enough." You needed 3 more. You failed. Nothing that happened before Josh getting the ball matters. You had the game in your hands and you fell short. End of story.
