  1. Having a backup like Henry for the price we'll be paying for him is a BIG advantage in a 16-20 game season. If the Bills are not offered at least a 2nd before the preseaon starts I just don't see us moving him. If Henry holds out going into the regular season, that equation changes.
  2. First of all let me preface my following comments with a HUGE why couldn’t you pull this game out Buffalo? Now let me say this: I have never been prouder of a Bills team over a 10 game stretch! Regardless of today’s outcome the Bills have shown me that they do have a winning attitude. We are looking at the beginning of a great run for the Bills. Thank you for an entertaining and inspiring year, I’m proud to be a Bills fan! I’m a Billiever!!! *The OL only gave up 38 sacks this year!!!!!!!!! **JP it is time for you to step up and be the man.
  3. First of all let me preface my following comments with a HUGE thank you the Buffalo Bills for an exciting and promising year! Now let me say this: WE LOST! And the Jets lost!!!!!! 1 missed field goal 2-12 3rd down conversions 12 penalties for 108 yards 3 fumbles, 2 lost 1 HUGE interception 24:57 time of possession 54 offensive plays to the Steelers 70 3 sacks We didn’t pull off a BIG win in a must win situation against 1st, 2nd and 3rd stringers. GAME PLAN…GAME PLAN…GAME PLAN!!!!! Drew was not the sole reason for our sub-par showing, but he was a major contributor! I think a large part of this was that our offensive play calling lacked any creativity what-so-ever! Our 1st long throw was in the last 2 ½ minutes of the 4th quarter! Clements called this game like we were the Steelers with a 1st round bye. He took no chances and played VERY predictably. Drew made this worse by throwing into some idiotic situations, especially when he kept throwing into the middle, into double coverage. A VERY disappointing day!
  4. I tend to agree with this...in fact I am actually satisfied with the progress we made this season. HOWEVER...Drew has finally let me down for the last time. I don't put the all of the blame on Drew but the vast majority does fall on his shoulders! You can honestly say that there were 2 underling reasons why the Bills lost today, Clements play calling and Bledsoe's play. With the exception of 2 or 3 drives the entire game, there was absolutely no rhythm for our offense! Penalties, dumb mistakes and bad choices ruled the day.
  5. Before the season started almost everyone agreed our 3 greatest weaknesses were QB, OL and K. Well the OL did their part but Drew just fell apart in arguably his biggest career game ever! Lindell...........ahhhhh.....ahhhhh! I put the blame of this fiasco on Tom Clements, Drew and Lindell and in that order. The play calling for our offense was terrible!!!!!! We didn't even threaten to go downfield until the 4th quarter. Almost no play action and predictable 1st down runs killed us!!!! I cannot even think about this anymore! AND THE JETS LOSE!!!!!
  6. I woke up at 5:30 am this morning feeling like a 10 year old on Christmas morning! This day promises to be a stomach turning rollercoaster ride.
  7. By asking for the impossible we obtain the possible. - unknown Impossible: What nobody can do until somebody does it.
  8. I'm hoping for a fast and furious start by the Colts! I'll be rootinng for 4 Manning TD passes in the 1st!
  9. Sacks in the last 5 games by PIT: Bal @ PIT: 0 sacks PIT @ NYG: 0 sacks NYJ @PIT: 0 sacks PIT @ JAC: 1 sacks WAS @ PIT: 3 sacks
  10. I cannot think of any owner or fan more deserving! LONG LIVE Ralph!
  11. clang! clang! clang! for the Bills! clang! clang! clang! for the Rams! clang! clang! clang! for the Colts!
  12. Wow #25 was hard it took me 478 moves. Helpfull hint; all 3 of the big lightt grey blocks need to be below the blue and there is 3 left to right rectangles and 2 up and down rectacgles above the blue when solved.
  13. If he only plays 1 quarter I hope it's one of those, "He threw 4 TDs in one quarter." quarters.
  14. Perfect game plan. Shannahan will do what he thinks is going to help him win. The counterpoint to that is that Dungy might just turnaround and do the same to their guy. The last thing you want going into the playoffs in week 17, is your team being bum rushed by a likely opponent you will be facing the following week or two. Momentum and a feeling of dominance cannot be understated at this time of the year.
  15. Then again Miami gave up a 3rd rounder for Lamar Gordon. I wouldn't put Gorden's value anywhere near Henry's. It all depends on how desperate a team is.
  16. It could also mean picking who you want to play in the playoffs. If your Dungy and Buffalo wins, who would you rather face in the playoffs Denver, NYJ or BUF?
  17. I attribute the spark that started it all was McGahee starting. The running game, pass protection and game plan immediately improved. This gave Drew more time to throw which also translated into FAR fewer sacks. That being said none of this turnaround would have been possible without the OL stepping it up a few notches, Evans getting open, our dominating defense and special teams! Throw in a rookie head coach who held this team together and won the respect and hearts of the players and you have one heck of a special TEAM!
  18. This season is already a success in my book. After a 0-4 start and a crushing defeat by NE in week 10, which left us with a 3-6 record, OUR Bills have rallied for 6 straight wins. The OL has really gelled with the addition of McGahee. McGahee, McGahee, McGahee, you cannot say enough about his contribution! The HC has proven that he is a capable leader whom the team definitely believes in. The defense is on fire, they have every AFC playoff team hoping they don't have to face the Bills. STs have been great. I Billieve that the Bills have proven that they're special. Regardless of this weekends outcome this team has proven that they are winners and I think we are going to have a few special years of football ahead of us!
  19. I'm a firm believer in, "If it works don't try to fix it."
  20. This cannot be understated! Give credit where credit is due. McNally has made a huge difference with this OL. We are fortunate enough to have an incredible defense and blessed with great special teams play! Our OL has been playing extremely well but the QB play has been sub-par. We have been winning regardless of Drew's play. I was a big Drew supporter, but I have legitimate concerns with him as our starting QB. I still think he is our best chance at winning but I wouldn't count on him bringing us back from a 17 point deficit against a good team. That being said, I want to congratulate the Bills on an excellent game, and a job WELL DONE! GO Bills!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
  21. The football Gods would be smiling down on us if that did happen. What pleases the football Gods most? COWBELLS!
  22. We all should be. God that last drive....grrrrrrrrr
  23. I think the coaching staff will start whoever they think will give them the best chance to win next year. Drew's experience will certainly factor into the equation, but I doubt that it will be the sole factor. Fortunately we have almost 2 weeks (hopefully 6) before this will become a major topic on this board again.
  24. I'm obviously in
