  1. Regarding your Avatar, I thought that this was the official "Draft Made Easy" Kit. By the way when I asked if the Bills would win the Super Bowl next year it said, "You may rely on it."
  2. I said plug Travis in because he would at that point be our best option. That being said, it is also one of the reasons I ultimately said NO. Willis does a much better job of picking up the blitz and the kid has HUGE upside!
  3. Fug that! He has a terrible attitude and no HEART! I'd trade him for another #1 receiver and some draft picks.
  4. I would have to seriously consider that trade, because we could plug Henry back in and our defense could still be tough even without Spikes. In the end I would have to say NO though. I really can't wait to see McGahee play in the years to come!
  5. Yup! 360 yards and 3 TDs, Manning has already played a whole game.
  6. I think you have to play Manning through the beginning of the 4th quarter or until the Colts are up by 30+. The Colts defense is suspect and they could give up some points.
  7. I think that they may not be very happy with their other K 1st rounder Janikowski!
  8. I remember reading that when Portis was starting at Miami and McGahee was his backup, Portis used to always tell McGahee that he'll never be as good as he was. It was an in your face type of remark. I hope Willis gets a chance to show him up next year.
  9. Who the heck would want to make a bet on this game? If you must bet the, "neither team will be going to Jacksonville bet." I'd rather watch the Curling Championship. I wish the NHL didn't SUCK!
  10. I thank Flutie for making it possible for us to keep this franchise here in Buffalo. I hope that I thank JP for our 1st Super Bowl!
  11. My friend turned me onto 24 last year, I was hooked from the first episode. Great show with an excellent premise. From the ads I've seen so far we're going to get the 1st 4 hours in the 1st week. The scary thing about 24 is that it may wind up being reality TV for real.
  12. I lived in Albany for 10 years for much of the 70s and noone and I do mean NOONE was a Bills fan. Everyone was either a Jets or Giants fan. Those were lonely days! :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: ..at least I'm not a Jets fan!
  13. A 3rd with a conditional 06 draft pick might get the deal done.
  14. How about that History Channel ad right below the flashing ladies, "For two hours it won't kill you to love the French". It is for a special on the French Revolution.
  15. Just stay strong, it will take time but it will get better. I quit on New Years Eve in 01, lasted 7 months, and started smoking again!! The temptation doesn't ever totally leave, but the alternative is not worth it.
  16. WHEW!!!! My memories of the Art Fest in '91 were all good until I read that. I lived at the corner of Allen and Elmwood across from Jims Steakout at the time. I had a huge party at my place for that whole weekend. Now I'll always have images of 3 frisbees stacked up to go along with all those good times.
  17. Nick in England Today, 07:44 PM Post #1 5. Willis McGahee recorded more rushing touchdowns ... than Edgerrin James, McAllister, Ahman Green, Jamal Lewis and Clinton Portis. All five backs were selected in the first round in most drafts, while McGahee went in the middle rounds due to his preseason status on the Buffalo depth chart. What makes this statistic even more incredible is that McGahee received a combined 19 carries in the first four games of the season and didn't start in consecutive weeks until Nov. 7. A very promising stat for McGahee. That should balloon next year with full time starting duties throughout and perhaps being a true 100%. An amazing stat even if McGahee didn't go in the middle rounds of the draft but 23rd, unless it was regarding fantasy football.
  18. That's what I get for posting without reading all posts. Consisder yourself verified by reliable 3rd party.
  19. 1. we're 8th 17.8 pts a game 2. we're 1st, 4.3 yds/play 3. we're 1st, 39 total turnovers 4. we're T-3rd, 45 sacks 5. we're 13th, 36% 3rd down conversion rate by opponents Our defense was excellent all year. They did have a few big plays late in games that really hurt us, but no team can be perfect. The defense did exactly what they were suppossed to do, stop the run, limit the pass and points and most importantly, create turnovers! The defense kept us in almost every game, but we could not score enough points! The majority of the scoring comes from the offense, so I think it is obvious that it is the offense that should be held most accountable. It is the offense that needs to find a way to improve it's play. The defense needs to find a way to maintain their play. I hope we find a way to keep Grey.
  20. Actually Williams was a right tackle at Texas, and he was dominant. I like the option of Peters at OL for depth also. He will need 2-3 more years to really develop, but he does have a lot of upside. I hope you are right about Jennings being here next year! Changing personel every year on the OL never works well. Look how much our line improved as the season went on. We need to come right out the gate strong next year, and keeping the OL together would go a LONG way to help us achieve that. That being said I think Jennings is going to get big, Big, BIG money as a FA and I doubt the Bills will pay him that much.
  21. Although it is not necessarily a recipe for success, a mediocre QB can take you to the SB and win it. 2002 season (03 SB): Brad Johnson (TB), only had 1 game over 300 yds and had 5 games with less than 250 yds. He missed 1 regular season game and didn't play in the Divisional or Conference Championships. 2000 season (01 SB): Trent Dilfer (BAL), I don't need to evaluate on this guy, but I will add that he only had a passer rating of 76.6
  22. Nope...I hope it is PIT vs GB.
  23. I have to go with the final game, but the posts are quickly catching up!
