  1. Actually Modrack has been living outside of Buffalo for his entire time here. Last week Wilson said that Modrack would be in Buffalo much more than he has been.
  2. Any relation to the Titans coach?
  3. Beer, the cause of and solution to all problems.
  4. Pehaps we can hire Mariucci as the HC, Sherman as the OC and Cottrell as the DC. Then we can start new with the WCO and a 3-4 defense. Bills fans can then wait for another multi year run at 0 playoff appearances, as we build for the future! YEAH!
  5. Excellent idea, let's bring in a HC that has been in a downward spiral for the last few years, and oh yeah, he has major health problems. The sad thing is that I'm really worried that the Mularkey resigning is a result of a conspiracy. I'm worried that Ralph and Marv figured that if they give Mularkey no say in the hiring of coaches, etc, etc, etc...that they could get him to resign. Please say it isn't so that Marv will be the new Head Coach!
  6. McGahee had such a policy when his knee was wrecked in the championship game against Ohio St. He was to receive $2 million. I believe that because he did get drafted he only received a small portion of it.
  7. Is that the line you see right after you get off the retard rollercoaster?
  8. Are you sure he's not one of the feces throwing minkeys?
  9. Yeah or things could have gotten really ugly both in the Bills locker room and here at TSW!
  10. I'm certainly not surprised! Good news for Bills fans. With Bush and Young both declaring we will have the luxury of several excellent choices at #8. D'Brick could be there if not we can get an excellent defensive lineman.
  11. YES! NO, Irvin was not slightly better, IMO. Reed's biggest stat to me was his YAC. I believe he led the league for years in that category. As another poster noted Reed had more catches and TDs in the 1st 12 years of both players. Overall I think Reed was the better receiver, but he was the quiet one of the 2. He didn't make a spectacle of himself like Mike "the MOUTH" Irvin did. Sometimes name and face recognition do make a difference, and I think that is definitely the case here.
  12. What I like about an early road game in Miami is that it usually translates into a December home game against them. That being said, after I saw the Bills performance against Tampa in that Florida heat and humidity early this season, it may require the Bills getting Rusty back!
  13. After the championship game the Texas HC said that Young became much better after they stopped trying to restrict him and let him do his thing. NFL coaches do not ever do that, too bad for Vince. He has a decent chance of making it in the NFL IMO. As for the Bills moving up to pick him.....only when pigs fly and hell freezes over. The only thing that would be worse than Buffalo picking a QB in the 1st 6 rounds would be if we picked a punter in the 1st.
  14. My thoughts exactly! I was ready to give stojan some serious stojan! But now I have say thank you steve!
  15. This is a glowing endorsement of the "skill players alone don't win games, playoffs and championships." If you don't have the right people in the trenches you will get an average team at best, and the worst...well look at Buffalo, Houston, SF, NO and GB...all teams with sub par OLs.
  16. Houston has already stated that Carr is going to be the man and they are definely going to take Bush. They have a chance to get a potentially outstanding RB and as you said Carr does have huge upside potential, why would they take another QB who MAY have potential and pass up on that special RB? I suspect the only thing Houston would do with their #1 pick besides getting Bush would be to trade down for a chitload of picks.
  17. All fine and dandy until NE loses and Indy wins the SB....I hope!
  18. Phew! That would have blown my whole strategy.
  19. Is this "not firing Jerry so that it looks better for Jerry while he job searches" like the 2% advantage we get for not telling who our starting QB will be? Does ANYBODY buy this chit?
  20. I don't think that nose tackle is a good position for Adams. He is much better off in a 4-3 with a big body next to him, someone who can command double teams. Adams is excellent at shooting the gaps, perhaps one of the best in the NFL. This was the big issue with Mularkey this year. Adams was being asked to play the Pat Williams role of crowding the line. Adams wants to do his thing in the gaps. I just can't see him being an effective nose tackle.
  21. The Bills need help in the middle of their DL not their LBs. We have much more pressing needs with the OL and DL and we will be able to get an excellent player in 1 of those positions with the 8th pick.
  22. I like the whole character issue, especially if having and playing with heart is big part of it!
  23. Oh stop being SO smart!
  24. According to Clump's page if we dumped all 3 we would save: Moulds $5.522M Adams $2.125M Williams $4.907M Add that to the $11.145M we are alreaqdy under and we would be $23.692M under. It would also give us an additional $10.611M in dead cap money.
  25. Who would be significant upgrades for us? I'd like to see 1 top notch FA OGs and 1 top notch OT. It may be addressed in the draft but we obviously need DT help so a top notch FA DT would be nice. I'll be the 1st to admit though that I don't know the majority of these players potential. 2006 FA OGs Player Type 2005 Team Bob Hallen UFA Chargers Corey Hulsey UFA Raiders Fred Weary UFA Texans Grey Ruegamer UFA Packers Jonathan Goodwin UFA Jets Kris Dielman RFA Chargers Kyle Kosier UFA Lions Montrae Holland RFA Saints Ray Brown UFA Redskins Reggie Wells RFA Cardinals Scott Kooistra RFA Bengals Sean Mahan RFA Buccaneers Stephen Nea UFA Patriots Steve Hutchinson UFA Seahawks Terrence Metcalf UFA Bears Tom Nutten UFA Rams Toniu Fonoti UFA Vikings Tutan Reyes UFA Panthers Tyrone Hopson UFA Lions Vince Manuwai RFA Jaguars 2006 FA OTs Player Type 2005 Team Adam Haayer UFA Cardinals Anthony Clement UFA 49ers Barrett Brooks UFA Steelers Barry Stokes UFA Falcons Bob Whitfield UFA Giants Chad Slaughter UFA Raiders Courtney Van Buren RFA Chargers Ephraim Salaam UFA Jaguars Ethan Brooks UFA Cowboys Jeff Backus UFA Lions John St. Clair UFA Bears Jon Runyan UFA Eagles Jordan Black RFA Chiefs Kevin Barry UFA Packers Kevin Shaffer UFA Falcons L.J.
