  1. A lot of people argued that Big Ben was never asked to win just not make mistakes last year. That may have been true his first few games, but when he was called upon to perform he did. Ben still maintained a passer rating of 98.1 for the year (5th in the league in 04). What was the most impressive was when he was behind in the 3rd or 4th his QB rating was over 105 in 04. FYI, this year when he is behind his QB rating is 115. The kid is the real deal. He had a 98.6 passer rating for the 05 regular season (3rd). Oh and for his 3 playoff appearances this year he has a 124.8 rating (1st). Too bad we couldn't move ahead of Pittsburgh in the draft to get Ben. Then again he would have been killed by our lack of OL.
  2. "Dom Belichick with your permission I would like to start my own family." "Mangini I shall grant you this favor, you may form your own family in NJ, and some day I may ask a favor from you, maybe even twice per year."
  3. I agree 100%, look at what he did with JP! I'm just kidding, I really do like Sam. He can teach JP more, he can act as a sounding board for the other coaches, especially Jauron. You can tell that Sam is a football guy, it's in his blood. He's perfect for Buffalo.
  4. Here is a classic example of how e-bullying has a positive effect.
  5. Especially for a lateral move that probably pays less.
  6. I think that will be Jauron's call, though Fairchild probably gets to say what he thinks, not that it will matter. As for Wyche, it may be Ralph who has the final say.
  7. No thanks I'll just flip a coin from now on.
  8. His name is Buford.
  9. He will remain what he was hired as, the QB coach. My understanding is that due to his problems with his throat he would be unable and unwilling to take more on than working with a few individuals and providing input when asked. I don't think he was ever considered for anything else, nor did he want to be.
  10. I'll guess in a Jerry Sullivan column.
  11. The president, general manager, head coach, offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, strength and conditioning coach, ticket prices, uniforms, non red endzones, 12th man, Jerry Sullivan, wall crusades, pickle juice, e-bullying, Kirk, Picard. We' ll figure out something.
  12. Actually I think that Reed had a pretty good season. He did a better job of getting open, particularly between zones, than anybody else on the Bills. He has not completely cured his dropsies, but he did make a marked improvement compared to the last several years.
  13. Wasn't Rusty the S & C coach under Marv? Maybe Marv can work some magic and get him back here.
  14. The Bills have never said anything about cutting or trading Moulds, jeez people lets at least get the facts straight. I really hope that we do not go with the west coast offense, and if we were we should have hired Mooch to be our HC. It's also the reason I do not want to see Sherman as the OC. If we concentrate on our lines in the off season, the Bills will have a chance to make a run at the post season, but if we get fancy with our draft and FA with more skill players we are doomed to another hopeless year.
  15. I think that you're off base on this one. If you watched the replay it was obvious that he didn't intentionally roll up on Palmer. His reaction after he got up and saw what happened exemplifies this further. He was visibly upset at the the result of his rolling into Palmer. As for whether or not the Bengals would have advanced if Palmer had not been hurt, we'll never know. One thing is certain though, the Steelers were on a roll that game offensively and their defense has been playing lights out the entire playoffs. The Bengals may have been closer at the end but I'm not convinced that they would have won.
  16. I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that Jauron has Turkish roots. That or the editor of the Turkish press is from Buffalo.
  17. "My breasts are sensing that this one knows something." "Let's cut his entire body off." "I will interogate him, with my breasts." Funny stuff!
  18. I've seen a few people do that when I used to be a bartender. People, alcohol and fire never mix well. What worries me is some of the comments that people had about Jauron. Ultra conservative approach and bad clock management, two things that I'm really excited about. I think this is going to be a rough off season for Bills fans. I can only hope that we go nuts in FA and the draft.
  19. My sources tell me that there is a high probability that he either stays or perhaps he goes. My money is on that he will do something!
  20. Is that glass half full or half empty?
  21. Honestly how can anyone give more than 1 week? But really what have we had to look forward to in the last 3 weeks? Dick is not something I've had on my list. Hopefully it's not another year of stojan either!
  22. Nope 81 is damn good, but he has never been the man in front, taking all the heat while making a run at the championship. Not like Jordan did. Too bad Bryant doesn't have Jordan's timing, then again is it possible for anyone to have the timing Jordan had? Tiger has the best chance but Kobe?....Never!
  23. Yes but come September and October... ...it could be worse. That being said, I will give Jauron a chance. Why? Because I don't have a choice otherwise. I always have and always will love the Bills. I started my ride in the 60s and I will continue it until I am well past my 90s. It is against my nature to assume a glass is less than half full until I get a chance to actually look at the glass.
  24. Let's just hope the fans aren't singing "you're a loser baby" to Jauron after week 3! I'm not holding my breath.
