  1. You and the arm need to start up the new loyal to a fault QB club.
  2. I doubt it was McNally who decided to sign Anderson, although he probably had some input. The team did try to address the poor play in that position by moving Anderson out and Williams in. That lasted all of a quarter and a half!
  3. Soprano was at the combine?
  4. Or more incredibly people read and reply to people who post about noodles. stevestojan I hope you haven't been booted by Geico and are looking for ways to stretch the dollars while you are job hunting.
  5. I remember the good old days when the majority of posters here couldn't believe that Mike Mularkey refused to name the starting QB for several games last year.
  6. The butterfly effect!
  7. What is sad for Runyan is that his stats almost mimick Anderson. Anderson had 8 penalties, including 5 false starts and 2 holding. He gave up 6 sacks. I really would have quessed almost double these numbers for Anderson.
  8. Only the top 51 player salaries for a team count against the salary cap in the offseason. The offseason for 2006 officially starts March 3. During the regular season, all player salaries count toward the salary cap.
  9. The chain is only as strong as it's weakest link.
  10. See! Marv took a crack at it! Who knows, he could have caught Polian in the middle of a drunken binge and might have pulled it off. 610054[/snapback] He hould have called him at 3 in the morning!
  11. I think what you are describing is the 4-3 defense, 4 DEs 3 LBs. We have been running it for years. edit: Am I the only one thinking this?
  12. Quick someone call the FBI there has been a hijacking! It's about time that this thread evolved into something new or just died.
  13. He did have some big breasts....oh wait you said bust. I don't think he was the biggest bust, but in after thought it was one of the wost contracts I have ever seen written by a GM. Compare the salary he had last year and was going to get the next few years to any other T. I don't think anyone would be close.
  14. He made Jonas look like the poster boy of healthyness.
  15. I certainly agree with you on that. Even with his step back last year I would put Nate in the top 10 in the NFL for pass coverage, including big pass plays. Do you watch any other teams play? Here is your dumbest comment. Past his prime? He's 26 years old! Dumbass comment of the year if you ask me! In the Miami game Nate did get torched a couple of times by Chambers, but he was not the only one. I don't want players on my team who don't have an overabundance of confidence. If you are in the NFL you better think too much of yourself.
  16. LOL these people who can't spell. What can you do?
  17. They finished 31st in 2005. They finished 17th in 2004.
  18. The Bills have to bring someone in besides JP, Kelly and Woodbury. I am assuming that Mathews will not be back next year. He didn't seem too sure about even coming back last year.
  19. More baffling is the redskins ability to do so. I read somewhere earlier today that even if the skins were able to cut all of their players to the vet minimum they would still be $4 million over the cap.
  20. Ugh I caught this too late. Did anyone catch it, and if so, please give a recap. I only caught the end where they mentioned Marv had talked about JP and the fact it is tough for 1st rounders.
  21. Can you pull up stats on Clements for the last few years on that site? It would be nice to compare him to some of the top CBs too.
  22. We are on the same page. If JP really stinks the joint up in the OTAs Jauron and Levy may look elsewhere to bring some competition in for the training camp. The current regime's only tie to JP is his contract and cap situation. I think that both the former and latter force the Bills to give JP a serious shot as the starter as we have other more pressing needs.
  23. I think that most people, like myself, are just saying that he is not our future. He should not be our starting QB even if he does a little bit better than JP in training camp. I thought he was an excellent pick up in FA last year. I thought he could be a very capable back up if needed. I never wanted him to be the starting QB on the team. I felt that way last year and still feel that way this year.
  24. Refuse it. As stuckincincy said the Bills do not have anyone on the club to replace him. Now if someone offered 2 number 1s then you'd have to seriously consider the trade.
