  1. Wow, was I ever impressed by Roethlisberger. No way Tommy Maddox ever sees the field unless Big Ben gets hurt!
  2. Bills 20, Dolphins 10. Book it.
  3. This is the best news for the AFC East since Wanny got extended in Miami! Although, believe it or not, Steve Spurrier was the coach of the last team to defeat the Defending World Champion New England Patriots. File under "Blind Squirrel Finds Nut."
  4. Does Shaw play special teams?
  5. Looking forward to a great, interesting series. Go Sox!
  6. Hey, I'm asking, not accusing. Is it valid?
  7. No, like maybe Coughlin, Parcells, Gibbs, Mariucci, etc. Guys of that ilk.
  8. Fred Smerlas has said on WEEI in Boston that the Bills constantly go for coaches on the cheap. Is that a valid criticism?
  9. Very true. Hobby is infamous for not remembering player's names. Always a good trait for a sportswriter.
  10. Not that you could know this, but "The Patriot Ledger" is actually a newspaper out of Quincy, Mass (which is directly south of Boston) and isn't related to the New England Patriots. It's a small-time suburban newspaper.
  11. I'm assuming you didn't read the book, since you quoted it out of context to suit your purposes... That quote is about two years old. By the way, I've been told repeatedly that the O-Line sucks.
  12. The rest of last year made up for it.
  13. Now that's comedy!
  14. Once again, the smiley that says it all when you've got nothing to say.
  15. I'm staying away from this game. As someone else said in this thread, in the long run you'll go broke betting against home 'dogs. I'm gonna say NE 17, BUF 13.
  16. In all seriousness, if you feel that strongly, place a bet. The money line's probably +250 straight up if you bet the Bills to win.
  17. Sounds about right. I think I love the unnnn-dah in this one.
  18. Fair enough - but I do think the Henry-led offense isn't a bad idea at all. Take the game out of the QB's hands.
  19. You probably shouldn't be ripping on your fellow Yankee fans that way.
  20. Three offenses worse than the Bills: Tampa, Arizona, Baltimore right off the top of my head - however, your point is valid. I still feel that even if DB and EM have declined precipitously, there's still enough of a running game to improve the offense and play the low-risk, field postition game that the Bills want to do. It's running an offense with training wheels, but the reality is that the Bills don't want their O to lose games for them. My beef would have been that you could have done that with another QB who would have been much more cap-friendly until Losman was ready.
  21. I don't think the Bills are even close to the worst team in football. If the offense was able to get out of its own way and not continually leave the D in a hole, they're probably a playoff team IMO. As the year progresses, the Bills should continue to improve if Mularkey is any kind of coach.
  22. They'll have to get an early lead.
