Ej can still learn a lot from watching. Orton doesn't need to hold EJ's hand, just show him how a professional commands the huddle, leads the team, practices....yada yada yada...
-
I think Orton is a good mentor, it's just a year too late.

Maybe...Could be the whole Woods pre-season deal all over again. Just sucks that if that truly is the case, DM has to lie about it...

Here's a crazy thought that most likely was brought up somewhere on the other 9 pages I haven't read, but maybe just maybe we sit out one of our punters errr kickoff specialist and play one of our better WR's, if they feel like they need 3 TE's.....crazy I tell you.....crazy...

Some people living in the Walking Dead world still have hope (kind of like being a Bills fan, there's always hope), so they see a sign that says safe haven or sanctuary they are quick to believe it. The non-zombies at this point are more dangerous than the zombies and they prey on gullible people. You really shouldn't trust any thing or anyone in their world and that's the philosophy of Rick's crew...

Somehow over the past couple years there were spoilers that were right on the money. I usually don't mind reading spoilers, because they are generally opinions, comic book related or false information. I am just saying that the script and/or plot of the show appears to be tightly guarded this season, well at least 1 week in. That's what I was thinking, but now the long time lapse between the scenes has me second guessing that. I don't read the comic and have been wrong more times than not predicting this show, I guess that's what makes it so good in my humble opinion....

Just went to a WD forum to verify and saw some screen captures. When Morgan gets to the "No Terminus" sign the mud is dry and there is significant plant/weed growth around the sign, so his arrival could be months past the time Rick and the crew were there. Leads me to believe there will be a Morgan show and he probably won't be seen in another episode for quite some time. At any rate, I love how there is no explanation for the tree markings. There were too many spoilers floating around last season, but haven't seen anything to explain this one....Looking forward to watching the Bills crush the Vikings and then some Walking Dead to cap off the night!!!!

I don't think that's right. They buried the weapons by the fence surrounding terminus, not by the railroad tracks. I could be wrong, I believe the markings are something that Morgan is following, a "bread crumb" someone is leaving. The Morgan scene seems like it's shortly after the crew leaves. But you can tell the mud is dry on the terminus sign and the tree marking is fresh, so there's a time lapse between those scenes. could be someone is following the crew...

Nathan MacKinnon wasn't as hyped, but was considered to be a future stud in the league in the 2013 draft. Beyond that it would be John Tavares, Steven Stamkos and Patrick Kane. All these players were really hyped and stuck out amongst the others in the draft as apposed to last season when there wasn't 1 or 2 players that were head and shoulders above the rest. The NHL draft just doesn't draw that much attention, so you really have to want to hear about the draftee's in order to know about them. That's why when a Connor McDavid comes around and non-hockey people know the name, it truly is a special player...

Sullivans Monday Patriots/Bills Column

Can't argue these points. But if he's saying the Bills D isn't good, he can't claim the Patsie's decline has been severly exaggerated just yet.... -
[closed]Announcers for Bills/Vikes game
ricojes replied to dascottbills28's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can see an announcer getting a name wrong here or there, but saying Golden Tate caught a pass when it was Greg Jennings of the opposing team is just inexcusable. i guess he went off on twitter after getting slammed for his poor commentating... -
With Moreno and Sproles out, I am in need of a diamond in the rough... Brandon Bolen James White Bobby Rainey Jonathan Stewart Darren McFadden Storm Johnson I did pick up Hillman last week though...

The definition of a Buffalo Bills' fan.

Optimism, followed by reality and analyzing the upcoming draft by week 8... -
It's hard to believe, but this team actually isn't too far away from being respectable. If they can get Eichel or McDavid in the next draft, it's go time. Murry is pretty sharp, he's not a fight for 8th place every year king of GM (Darcy). Hit the bottom, acquire draft picks and young talent, then start to build around the young talent. I am excited for the future, but this year will truly suck as a fan...

Orton is mediocre, EJ was bad. The Bills have to choose between mediocre and bad, they chose mediocre. it is what it is, poor planning coming into the season again....

Had a recruiter call me yesterday

Best advise I received for this question was to delay discussions of compensation as long as possible. You are the seller and the interviewer is the buyer. Early discussions of price are always to the seller's disadvantage. Once the buyer has made a firm decision to buy, price negotiations are much easier for the seller. Try to change the subject by saying you need to have more information on the job at hand in order to get a clear understanding of what fair compensation would be. Or I believe we need to discuss the job before discussing compensation further. If that doesn't get you off the hook, you really have no alternative but to answer. In that case you should do some research on starting salaries in your field and decide what's works for you as well... -
They played 3 very good teams to start the season, we'll see if they are in serious contention for last place after tonight's game. Nolan said he thought some players didn't care on WGR this morning. Coming from a coach, that's quite a statement. So whoever gets sent to Rochester or juniors in the near future will be telling. Going to be another long frustrating season, but this team really needs McDavid...

Detroit just used a 1st round pick on a TE, so how about Spiller for Brandon Pettigrew?
