When you're 70 yards away, it's very difficult to see someone lying down. The hope is that nobody notices and everyone runs to the ball. Then have an open field when the ball is thrown the opposite direction. at least that's the theory. The Bills defended it perfectly and there was a Bills right next to TJ. PH looked and couldn't throw the ball due to the Bills player being right there.

Kind of pissed by this remark...My section has come to the aid of the "enemies" fans many times, don't judge the whole stadium by one section. An !@#$ fan is an !@#$ fan no matter what jersey they are wearing...

They answered just about all the questions from last weeks show relatively quick. It almost seemed like they edited the scene to add the carving explanation. It just seemed odd to me. The biggest thing going forward is the crew breaking up and what happened to Beth. Other than the absolute brutal slaying of the remaining Terminus group, not much more happened. But they tied up loose ends on the show and now it's move onto the next plot.

That play actually worked a year or two ago, don't remember the teams though. But it was dumb! The Jets would have been better off having TJ stand up, the Bills players would have said "meh, it's only TJ nothing to see here, and would all run towards PH instead. But in all seriousness, not sure who it was, but one of the Bills saw that the whole way and was the reason PH didn't throw the ball. Anyone know who that was? Ah yes, that was it.

This is true. The only thing I can think of is they didn't feel Orton was ready. he hadn't taken any reps with the first string and had only been on the team a short period of time. But I still think he would have been an upgrade.

Yes, I have said the same thing. Not happy for the loss, but happy the QB change was made after that loss. People the B word about "giving up" on EJ after only 4 games this season have no clue. 4 games is a quarter of the season, that's a fair amount of time. Marrone wasn't quick to pull the trigger, he had to do it before it was too late. And EJ's attitude, as far as I have seen, has been great since the benching. FJ was on WGR this morning and he stated how Orton takes command when watching film of the opponent during the week. Telling everyone what he expects from the defense and where they should be in all situations. That is something that only comes from experience and EJ will benefit from watching and learning. Now hopefully the line somehow puts it together and keeps Orton from getting killed, he takes so many hits per game, dude must seriously be sore the next day...

Luckily that play had no bearing on the outcome of the game and he can learn from it. I'll write it off as a rookie mistake, but I do like a WR with an attitude. He knows he's a great receiver and he's backing it up on the field. ..

Someone on this board said they'd be shocked if the Bills won this game...Shocked! The mighty Jests have had the Bills number in New Jersey lately. But this is a different team. I believe some people around here are just stuck in the "same old Bills" mentality, which is very tough to shake being it's been so long since they have been good. That's why there is almost as much bitching about a victory as there is after a loss, but only half the coaching staff gets fired after a win. I am truly embarrassed and discouraged, but we're 5-3 going into the bye, coming off a 20 point victory against a division rival in their (shared) house! GO BILLS!!!!

Really....shocked? I am not 100% confident in Bills this week, but i wouldn't be shocked if either team won. Last year in New Jersey they picked on Justin Rogers and made GS look like a franchise QB and the Bills still had a chance in that game. So shocked, no, cautiously optimistic, yes...GO BILLS!

Overused - Poise (Tasker) & Physicality X amount of points in X amount of time always irritates me. such as a TD, followed by a fumbled kickoff and then a TD by one team. Yes, it's 2 TD's in 20 seconds or whatever, but it's just really sounds dumb if they point that out. Also, any female announcer broadcasting a men's game. There are a lot of women that are knowledgeable in sports and I don't mind if they are sideline reporters or part of the pre and/or post game. Just not play by play or color commentating. The best is probably Doris Burke, but she still annoys me and I change the channel. Maybe just me being a caveman, but I don't think I will ever get used to it.

You could tell he knew her by his reaction when she/it was coming at him. I believe he locked his congregation out of the church, but this guy is gutless, there is no way he survived this long without help...

I'll admit I had them at 8-8 and fell for the pre-season vanilla defense and went all the way down to 5-11, and I usually don't even watch pre-season. Lesson learned, pre-season doesn't mean anything! They are definitely an 8-8 team, that with a few bounces can easily be a game or 2 better.

And a fairly deep draft with more picks to come for Myers, Stewart (Boston is already interested in Stewart), and Stafford. Probably others as well.

That's why it's worth a couple seasons of absolute misery (as opposed to plain old misery). This kid is a game changer and would look great in a Sabres sweater. And maybe even go after Mathews the following year! yeah, that probably won't happen. As I said before, once they get McDavid, it's game on! Time to build a winner.
