  1. Really? It's probably been over a year since my last visit. What's the issue...Food? service? both? I know it's not Jackie Jocko...
  2. I agree, that's what I would do. But kind of a boring plot for a television show... Mine was as well, I could barely understand the Mullet early on.
  3. This one is apparently pretty good, but they have other steaks as well. Like I said, i haven't been there, just going by a friends review. I think it closed for a bit and then re-opened under new ownership, at least it was open this summer. And damn about the haystack, I wanted to try that!
  4. They have to go somewhere, otherwise what is there. I guess i shouldn't have said I think the mullet is right, instead I will say I think the crew will think he's right. If you don't believe there is somewhere better, then there is no hope. Hope is the only thing keeping them going.
  5. Good point. there was a purpose, a goal, a mission. Now as you said, it's just survival. I think the mullet is right about Washington and I think that ultimately will be the destination.
  6. I never have a problem paying top dollar if the food and service are on par with the price. I have heard nothing but good things regarding both at Russell's.
  7. My favorite was sparks in NYC. Locally, I am not a fan of the Chop House at all, but haven't been there in a few years. I think EB Green's is the best. Danny Sheehan's Steak House in Lockport is very good as well. The Colony in Silver Creek is a little known hidden gem, great food all around, but several very good steak options. I want to try Russell's, but have only done Happy Hours there. A friend swears by Riverstone Grill on Grand Island, it was on Man vs Food a while back, but haven't tried that one yet. The steak houses in the casino's in Canada are pretty good as well. Lucky's at Casino Niagara and the 21 club in the Fallsview are both excellent steak options. ok, I am hungry...
  8. I agree and maybe they show more of it at some point. His family was terrified of him with no explanation, so he must have been loose cannon to say the least.
  9. So far so bad...they are on pace for less points than last year, didn't think that even possibly.
  10. I had a theory that the mullet sabotaged the military vehicle last season as well, he obviously was in no hurry to get to Washington and be exposed. looks like Abraham had a lot of time invested in the mullet, he's the type of person that needs a purpose or mission, so he will be a wild card from here on out. but a bad ass wild card for sure! To me it took too long to get the confession though, the whole episode really didn't go anywhere. it all led up to the confession and Abraham's back story, which really wasn't much other than confirming his bad ass status. I guess they double back and meet up with Rick's crew now.
  11. I think this was a really good time for bye for this team. This is going to be a close game, but I think they should beat KC. Not that it has anything to do with this year, but they should have won that damn game last year! Uhg, that was frustrating watching Tuel literal throw that game away. As far as the fish. Earlier in the year it was the first time in many years that the 2 teams met and both had a winning record, it must be forever since both times they played they each had a winning record. Anyway, heat shouldn't be an issue. it should be pretty comfortable by kickoff. Should be a ton of Bills fans in attendance. Too early to call this one, we'll see what happens this week.
  12. Hell on Wheels The Walking Dead Shameless House of Cards Game of Thrones Homeland The Bridge
  13. It appears you put a lot of thought into this and it sounds interesting, but I hope this would never even come close to happening. International expansion could happen, but i would absolutely hate it.
  14. So, if you're a UFA, does this factor into the equation at all when thinking bout joining one of these teams? It would be a vacation of sorts, plus you could always stay a few days longer with the bye week following (if that's an option?). But to some, it may just be a PITA. Ultimately money talks, but do you think it would factor into their decision making?
  15. The London games will be announced this afternoon. I heard Jets@Fish rumors, that would suck to have a home divisional game taken away. Not that we don't know what that feels like...
  16. Big game this weekend! The only teams I worry about are Edmonton (big game Friday) and Arizona (Darcy!!!!)....
  17. Ok, just curious about the vision. sense of smell and hearing is obvious, but the eye balls are rotted, so wasn't sure. Never watch the talking dead, so didn't know if it was ever discussed.
  18. By about 11 years... We're still going to watch, you don't know it's a "slow" episode until you've actually watched it, right? So, along those lines (kind of)...Can walkers see? or is it more a sense of smell that draws them to something?
  19. The Bills D has been great just about all year, but KC does not turn the ball over. Dallas is playing Jax, enough said...
  20. That was my initial thought as well. Daryl probably wanted to go in himself, but Noah told them about slabtown only taking in the weak.
  21. Marv changed his philosophy with the team around him, that's what made him a great coach. I was referring to the league philosophy 20+ years ago, it was always "run and stop the run", especially in cold weather. but you can spin it however you like...
  22. Plus the Sabres will unload at the trade deadline, I don't see Carolina dumping all their talent, they have a pretty good core.
  23. yes, ranked in the top 10 rushing yards against just about every year in the 90's. But i was referring to cold/bad weather games philosophy of the 90's as the title indicates.
