  1. That's why you need a veteran QB in OTA's and training camp. That's on the FO, just a really bad decision there.
  2. Thursday football 1 day a year...I am more than fine with that...
  3. This was actually NE's issue starting the season, but they corrected it. As much as I hate Tommy Boy, early in the season people were saying he was washed up because he was missing targets, but in reality throwing over the receivers head or at their feet was the result of the wrong route. Two really jump to the top of my head for the Bills this season, the first was in Orton's first game, when he threw a pick 6 at Detroit. Looked like a horrible pass, but was it a horrible route read? Another was the intentional grounding call, he was expecting Watkins to run and out and Watkins ran an in pattern. But there were so many more. That's why even though I am not a Hackett fan, I really can't criticize as much because I don't know the original call, what changed, the receivers read, nor the QB's read. That's all over my head, but it's easier to just look at a play and say Orton sucks because he missed that pass and Hackett sucks because he called that play...
  4. He's talking in general and it's actually spot on. If you don't hear about the O line, it means they are doing a good job. It's the way it's always been....Nothing to talk about here.
  5. Game saving or clinching, but not winning...I was waiting anxiously in the stadium for the official ruling, place was going nuts. HEY HEY HEY HEY and high fives all the way out of the stadium. What a great feeling....
  6. I can only speak to the area around my seats, but I have been there for 15 years and only had a few incidents that escalated. for the most part, my section are welcoming of visiting fans as long as they are respectful. I have been to other stadiums and found much worse behavior. Cleveland was brutal, the section where I sat was 10 times worse than Bills fans in my section (they were playing Baltimore though). And Baltimore was much worse than Bills fans from my experience, that was Bills/Ravens game and they were classless. Been to many others and luckily have had good experiences. It all comes down to where you sit, sometimes it's a good section and sometimes it's a horrible section. But I have seen much much worse behavior in other stadiums, but it's different for every individual and impossible to categorize the whole fan base, even though you pretty much just did it... I actually couldn't see it, she was a few seats down from me...But it was wordy, which is probably why they didn't give her any attention...
  7. I sit front row in the endzone. There was a girl with a Packers sign, she was screaming every 2 minutes, "look at my sign, look at my sign, take a picture, blah blah blah". The photographers would just walk by, finally i said "you're sign sucks, deal with it. They can take 1000's of digital pictures and they wont take 1 of your sign, that should tell you something". She just swore at me an kept screaming. But overall Pack fans were ok in my section and there were a lot of them...
  8. Murray at the #2 RB Benjamin as the #2 WR FJax or Landry for flex...Probably lean more towards Fred since it's PPR.
  9. What cracks me up is the people who believe the players are in on the tank. They are playing hard and winning some games they probably have no business winning. But the main guy orchestrating the tank will have something to say about this very soon. Who's first to be traded? Myers? Stewart? Enroth?
  10. Packers fans always travel well and the Ralph is no exception. Throw in the fact that this will most likely be Aaron Rodgers only regular season appearance in Buffalo and it should up the ante...
  11. He's an excellent backup QB, there is no doubt about that.
  12. Fire Enroth!!! His trade stock has to be going up, make the move TM...
  13. Maybe the old Malamute, which is now Ballyhoo...I know they have a lot of craft beers...

    RB 2

I don't see a lot of yards from Mason, but he should see a lot of touches and maybe sneak in a score. Crowell is splitting carries, but getting the goal line touches, probably good for 1 TD. Murray getting the majority of the touches and KC's D has been struggling against the run. Should rack up the rushing yards, but does he get in the end zone. I would rank them Murray, Crowell, Mason, but it's a very close pick, so go with your gut...
  15. I don't think this is anything new, that's why EJ said next chance he get's he's going to sling it all over the field. This was blurb i found from January... Bills coach Doug Marrone recently said the Bills plan to expand Buffalo’s passing attack in 2014. Only eight teams attempted fewer passes than the Bills last year, but no team had more rushing attempts. The results were pretty poor — the team only reached the 30-point mark in two of their 16 regular season games in 2013 and were held at 24 or under the rest of the time. “We would like to be able to take more shots, throw it more on first down and become more productive from the standpoint of scoring,” said Marrone. It would be nice if the Bills were "more productive from the standpoint of scoring"....
  16. Didn't read the book, maybe it was written when NFL Europe existed. A little more difficult in the NFL, with the only options being, keep on the roster, cut him, or practice squad...
  17. Kim stated that Terry read an NFL book with the philosophy of drafting a QB every year, I believe it was Ron Wolf's book, but not 100% sure. He then brought that philosophy to the Sabres, he actually had to buy a minor league team or 2 to have a place for all the goalie's. So, it wouldn't be too far of a leap to assume he would bring that same philosophy to the Bills...
  18. Amen to that! Beyond words what this family brings to Buffalo. We have been beaten down due to our sports teams and lack of direction in the city, you have go no farther than this forum to see that feeling resonate in many a post. But the Pegula's bring new life and whole new attitude to our city and sports teams. I have always been proud to be a Buffalonian and now the future is so much brighter. Can't say it enough, thank you Terry and Kim!!!!!
  19. Some good food options in these threads... http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/169525-best-food-options/page__hl__pizza#entry3199229 http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/171396-best-subs/page__hl__pizza http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/169220-the-great-buffalo-weekend-food-tour-2014/page__hl__pizza If your staying in the OP area, I would suggest Imperial Pizza, 1035 Abbott Rd. Very good...
  20. you can blame me! D Anderson, no doubt. Had a very good week 1 and has looked good in mop up time (although he hasn't played in a while), plus they are playing Tampa and are in the playoff hunt...
  21. Marrone has stated over and over and over and over that he is going with who gives the Bills the best chance to win. At this point and time, Orton is the best QB on the roster, thank you very much front office! They are still in the playoff hunt, slim odds or not, so why put a lesser QB in? I understand as fans, we always think the guy on the bench is better than the struggling starter, but that is not always the case. This topic has been posted in a thousand different ways recently, but the bottom line is Orton will remain the starter until injured or mathematically eliminated (even then it's not a guarantee). As for similarities between the Browns and Bills, not that it really matters, but they are both a QB away from being playoff contenders. GO BILLS!
  22. Tough call between Evans and Crowell. With JM taking over in C-town, I think Crowell may get a bunch of check downs. We're not talking FJax 14 target check downs, but still at least a half dozen catches...
