  1. I would buy his book, some of the party stories would be epic!
  2. 1. doesn't mean anything 2. speculation, doesn't mean anything 3. rumors 4. doesn't mean anything, just a story because he has the option 5. that's good news 6. the season just ended, all teams go through a review 7. you mentioned it in #5, it was surprise nothing really here, but let the off season fun begin...
  3. Ideally the Bills would have wanted to sign Orton to a 1 year deal with the Bills having an option to pick up the second year. I think the only way they signed Orton was to give him the option, he knew the Bills were desperate. No way did he "lead them on".
  4. That's actually how Pat LaFontaine was hired...Pegula and Pat just having dinner and next thing you know...
  5. I wouldn't say UK and Wisconsin "woke up", they just have far more talent and UB couldn't hang with them the whole game. "woke up" sounds like it was them playing bad for a half, instead of UB playing well for a half. Can't the Bulls get a little credit for playing well?
  6. Sure, only 32 NFL Head Coaching jobs, maybe he'll quit because the QB isn't that good. Sounds logical.
  7. Wooohooo, did I miss the announcement? Is Hackett gone?
  8. ahhh, ok my bad. I just read all the EJ should have started threads and thought it was the usual mush. I still don't agree, but my Geno point doesn't apply...
  9. Exactly my point! His last meaningless game was pretty much awesome, the only perfect QB rating this season. But he still sucks and a meaningless game proves absolutely nothing. I am hoping EJ comes back strong next season, but playing this last game would have done him no favors and just didn't matter.
  10. Every QB option will be thoroughly discussed this offseason, before this forum decides who we should bring in....
  11. So EJ plays and puts up numbers similar to Geno Smith yesterday, what does that tell us? We'll go into next season with Tuel as the backup and EJ as the starter, we are all set at QB? No concerns regarding EJ what so ever, he looked really good in that one game. Geno Smith posted a perfect QB rating in a meaningless game, so the Jets are all set at QB as well? I don't know why I even comment on crap like this, common sense just doesn't cut it...
  12. They have a really nice team this season. And the experience from playing at #1 Kentucky and #6 Wisconsin and playing them tough can only help as the season progresses. GO BULLS!!!!
  13. Good Luck KO, I wish you nothing but the best! I think he was put in a difficult situation and handled himself very well. He is truly a backup QB, and a very good one at that. Someone that can come in after an injury and play 1, 2 or even 3 games until the starter gets healthy. He is not a starting QB in this league and it's a shame he received unfair criticism because the Bills royally f'ed up the QB position coming into training camp...
  14. Doesn't really matter who starts or what happens, it's a nothing game and nothing that happens should factor in any decisions for next season...
  15. Only been about 18 years since Kelly retired...It really is sad!
  16. I am just as frustrated as everyone else here and get it, trust me, I get it. All I am saying is that particular play was no indication of poor play by Orton, but is squarely on Nathaniel "don't call my son Nate" Hackett! Watching a poorly designed and executed offense is even more frustrating when the D is playing poorly. I hope Terry and Kim are as frustrated by that p!ss poor offensive display as the rest of us. I don't think Marrone will be fired, I hope I am wrong though. But Hackett needs to go and if Marrone goes the Malarky route, so be it, good riddance. I really thought they were going to break one of the those 1 yard passes...damn, so close...[/sarcasm]
  17. correct, to his only option that was well covered...
  18. Right, including Orton. I get it though, it was an ugly play design and execution.
  19. How do you pin that on Orton? He had one option, the other 2 receivers were blocking. I am not an Orton fan, but I can't blame him for everything.
  20. this is not a really good Bills team. They are close, but still a few pieces (especially QB) away from being a legitimate contender. They have a great D, but unless the D is close to perfect, they don't win. The O cannot overcome a bad defensive day. therefore this wasn't even close to the choke job in 2004...
  21. Was he spotted in the parking lot pre-practice? Nothing good ever happens in the parking lot...
  22. There were a few vets out there for sure. but even going back to the previous season when they put their faith in Kolb, that was another poor decision. I know you can't foresee and injury, but Kolb was not even a good QB.
