  1. I remember GNR was very late for their performance and it started to get a bit unruly. There were cups flying from the seats to the floor and back up to the seats, it almost looked like it was snowing with all the white cups flying around. You throw a cup with ice from the upper deck onto the turf, it has some velocity and it was pretty scary. So they started showing girls flashing on the video boards and order was restored cause everyone likes boobies. GNR finally arrived, probably 45 minutes to an hour late. Their performance begins with Axel and piano rising from under the stage. Faith No More was great that day and Metallica rocked as well. That was a good show, great weather as well... I saw the Stones the last time they played Rich Stadium as well, '97 maybe. That was an awesome show...
  2. Oh get over yourself, why do you even have to chime in with this crap. if you don't agree, that's fine. but they were put in am impossible position. they played hard and i am sure most appreciate the effort. they didn't uner perform, how can you under perform when the team is built to lose?
  3. Good point! They deserve it for sure, it's not the players fault...
  4. Another big game Wednesday....Toronto joined the tank party late, but they are gaining ground quickly. Buffalo: (6) Wed 4/1 vs. Toronto Fri 4/3 vs. Chicago Sat 4/4 @ N.Y. Islanders Mon 4/6 vs. Carolina Fri 4/10 @ Columbus Sat 4/11 vs. Pittsbrugh Arizona: (5) Fri. 4/3 @ San Jose Sat 4/4 vs. San Jose Tue 4/7 @ Calgary Thu 4/9 @ Vancouver Sat 4/11 vs. Anaheim
  5. Davidson was the former leader of the ASZ. But my guess is he now leads the Wolves.
  6. I want to re-watch certain parts of the episode, a couple things irritated me, but for the most part it was a very good season finale. I don't think Rick used a gun on that zombie kill, I believe it was just his hands. How is Morgan so clean? Maybe they chronicle his journey at the beginning of next season. Aaron mentioned one of the exiled as their former leader, "Davidson", says he's smart as hell and strong. I can see him now being the leader of the Wolves. There is no way the get another mention unless they are coming back. They could be with another group, but the easy money is they are with the Wolves. The one big question I have is about Michonne's sword. Michonne tells Rick not to start anything at the meeting, let them start something first (or something to that affect, part of the reason i want to re-watch). Pete brings Michonne's sword to the meeting to confront Rick. Did he take it off the wall or was this planned?
  7. It's looking pretty good, but still nerve racking! Give the Sabres 2 points for the game in hand, Sabres win tonight, it's a 2 point lead with 5 to play. If that scenario plays out, Sabres would need 3 points in the last 5, with Arizona losing them all, to ruin the tank. like I said, it's looking good and the tie breakers help, but I just want ARZ to win in regulation tonight to pretty much lock it up...
  8. The Sabres finished dead last a season ago and no one said a freaking word because there was no "generational" player in the draft. We have a new GM now, he wants to build HIS team. So he's in year 1 of rebuilding his team, and he doesn't want to build upon a losing foundation that he inherited, I would do the same thing! This season just happens to have one sure bet franchise player and a close second franchise player, now it's embarrassing, boo hoo. You don't have to be on-board with tanking, that's fine, I can see that side of it. But don't preach, leave that to Bucky. http://www.si.com/nhl/2015/03/27/buffalo-sabres-fans-nhl-draft-tanking-battle-connor-mcdavid-new-york-rangers-rookie-kevin-hayes
  9. I am really looking forward to the finale....So many different directions this can go again, seems like I keep saying that. I guess that's the good thing about not reading the comic. The exiles are surely the threat. Whether the started the Wolves or joined the Wolves, it really doesn't matter, but they are coming back to re-claim the ASZ. The idiot coward has Rick's blender gun, look out Glenn. The priest is losing it, look out everyone. Pete's a dick and who knows what he's capable of. Deanna is pissed, her son was just killed and the safe zone is crumbling from the inside since Rick's crew arrived. Carol is a bad ass and will have that sword off the shelf by the end of the finale for sure. Sasha's a wild card. Does Enid play any kind of role. Abraham has been quiet and seemed to like leading the build crew. I can keep going. So much going on...
  10. Look out for Toronto if you're Edmonton, they are in a full sprint tank mode. i can see them finishing 3rd...
  11. Here is a clip from his article: I’ve been covering the NHL for nearly 25 years. Trust me, I get it. Unfortunately, too many people fail to get IT. They don’t understand or choose to ignore the fundamental idea that competition calls for providing the maximum effort needed to win. It’s not selective. It’s not sometimes. It’s always. Anything less is unacceptable, unprofessional and unfathomable. If that needs further explanation, heaven help you. Time for Bucky to get off his high horse, stop the preaching already! It's just getting old and it's every day. It's like this Buck...You don't write articles intending to come off like an idiot, you can't help it, you're just are an idiot. The Sabres players are not trying to lose and giving less effort, they can't help it, they just aren't a good team. How this guy still has a job by continuing to insult the Buffalo population is incredible...And I left out the part where he called the "pro-tank" Sabres fans losers... For the Sabres, yes. And because other teams in all sports need that player to win them a championship, there will always be tanking. I don't see Indy fans embarrassed after tanking to get Luck and make the playoffs the last 2 seasons, there's no asterisk next to Pittsburgh's Stanley Cup....teams tank and will continue to tank when rebuilding...
  12. Yes, all they have to do is send $50 to the following address to cover taxes....
  13. Exactly my point, a split is ok. 2 losses would be ideal, but I will take a split. So as I wrote, tonight's game is huge for the stress factor associated with Monday's game. Exciting stuff!
  14. Lot's of good info in the Salary Cap thread... Here's a good link as well: http://www.buffaloru...pace-projection
  15. Actually as a fan, I agree with Buffalo Joe, big game tonight! If they split points, it's not ideal, but ok. Losing tonight would make Monday's game an non must lose scenario, so much less stressful. GO TANK!!
  16. The Ale House is close to my house, may have to go there for the big game tonight!!! http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/buffalo-bar-offers-connor-mcdavid--jack-eichel-drinks-with-cruel-twist-162837870.html
  17. Exactly! A Couple weeks ago EDM was closer to the Sabres than Arizona and everyone knew Arizona was the bigger threat. The win certainly helps, but it's a team that doesn't concern any more...
  18. Yes....reminded me of the Sabres game yesterday, Arizona couldn't hold the lead...
  19. Thanks for the breakdown! I check NHL.com more now than I ever have. Watched the game yesterday, what a game! Sabres were well on their way to a W and then managed to make just enough mistakes to earn the L. Thursday is going to be interesting, I wonder how the Buffalo crowd will react to an Arizona goal?
  20. When his number is called, I think he goes out sacrificing himself to save someone else. But I also think he might play a major role in this next episode, he's a lose cannon right now.
  21. WTF, that misleading title scared the crap out of me...I haven't been there in a couple years, but it's nice option to have when I do cross the border.
  22. With Ralph it was well vodka, with TP it's top shelf bottle service...
  23. I know, wishful thinking with the Priest. Interesting how the whole Priest story didn't get a mention though. Not even a Maggie sighting.
  24. Rick was about 2 minutes from getting exiled on the spot. Michonne feels comfortable there, she hung her sword on the wall and didn't take it when they went outside the gates. At least that's the impression I got. Rick was really going off and that pretty much was the only way to call a time out and huddle up. Plus it shows her "loyalty" to Alexandria as she was wearing her police uniform at the time and doing her job... I was going to post last week that most of the people of Alexandria knew about the doctor, but he's the doctor! More and more W's on the heads of walkers, "alive" and "dead". Daryl and Aaron are closing in on the wolves (my guess) though, at least some of them. Interesting "more walkers than usual" comment form Aaron, who would know the area better than most. Morgan time next week? that coward has the gun, most likely means another one of Rick's crew will die at his hands. Hopefully it's the priest...
