  1. That's awesome! Bills fans will stop whatever they are doing for a "heyee heyyyee"....
  2. Just joking. It's early in the week, we'll know more later. Never believe the early week reports, especially from Schefter...
  3. Not out there all that much. Although the two games he wasn't used much, was against NE (fell behind early) and NYG (Shady out). http://www.buffalorumblings.com/pages/buffalo-bills-snap-counts-2015-year-to-date
  4. Correct, as soon as the puck clears the zone the play can no longer be challenged.
  5. Only if a goal is scored. It would basically result in a faceoff if the coach's were allowed to challenge non scoring plays, so you are correct, they wouldn't have bothered (nor could they anyway)...
  6. The crowd went crazy after the song started, it was pretty awesome, and pretty cool to keep it under wraps until the first goal. Lot's of bad white guy dances in the stands during the song though, i know i am flagged for a racist comment, but damn there was some bad ones. FYI...Jack was born roughly 6 months after DJ Kool's song debuted...
  7. Technically Bylsma doesn't number lines (at least that's what he said in a previous interview), so there is no telling which of the bottom 2 lines will get more time. But I would have to think the third listed will get the least amount, should they stay in tact...
  8. Exactly, if you're going to lose to one of the NJ teams, this was the one...
  9. Fight breaks out 2 seconds into the season for Calgary and Vancouver....Hockey's back baby...GO SABRES!!!! http://www.cbssports.com/nhl/eye-on-hockey/25331009
  10. So the QB quote would be valid. I mean technically the jury is still out, but that comment back then was valid.
  11. When exactly did the interview take place? Was there any indication from their answers?
  12. After the first Sabre home goal of the regular season...
  13. This was actually posted yesterday. no worries though, it's cool enough to share several times. great story. And one of the comments was from a Texas resident, stating he feels like he has to give a Buffalo tailgate a try. pretty cool.
  14. it's sick and it never makes the national news because they can't get support to rally against violence unless it's race related. So sad, there is even more of this senselessness in Chicago, but who would know unless you live there. just terrible...
  15. I think so as well. And that goes for all sports, a basketball player can become a more accurate shooter, a pitcher can become a more accurate pitcher, a hockey player can gain a more accurate shot, and on and on. A lot of it is technique. Granted, some upper echelon athletes can be accurate with poor technique, they are just freaks. But a player can get better at any position with better technique and repetition...
  16. Well said, I agree 100%. I will never be too careful with how much praise I give the Pegula's, the whole vibe of the city of Buffalo as well as our sports teams have done a 180 since they came into the picture. I will praise the F*#K out of them for as long as I can....GO BUFFALO!!!!
  17. I'll also add Imperial Pizza on Abbott Rd in S Buffalo to the list...
  18. Impossible to tell what he would have been if he started right out of college. But there is no doubt sitting behind a very good QB and learning is valuable. But it's a luxury most teams can't afford, they need a QB right away...
  19. It's one thing to shell out money for a head coach, but you have to shell out the big bucks for quality assistant coach's as well. Yes, it sucks, they will be interviewing for HC positions just about every year, but it's still well worth it. Thanks TP...
  20. There have been many food discussions previously on this board for wings, pizza, roast beef, etc. Individuals taste for pizza varies so much, it's more of a "place's to try" thread than anything else. Everyone in the Buffalo area lives within a stones throw of a pizzeria, they are everywhere...
  21. Amherst Ale House has very good specialty pizza's as well as the traditional cheese and pep. Plus half price large pizza and pitchers of beer during all Sabres games until they win the cup... Just Pizza (Transit, Williamsville) and Besta (Millersport, Getzville) are very good as well. I always order mine well done, for the nice crispy crust...
  22. I think a successful season is being in the playoff hunt until the very end and maybe even sneaking in. They definitely have a great core, that's only going to get better and better, all that "suffering" is going to pay off...GO SABRES!
