  1. I hope this this not new, but simplified offense, will correct the play clock issue. I really have never witnessed a team line up for a play with under 5 on the play clock on such a consistent basis, there is no time to even think about changing the play or TT has to call a TO because there is no time to get a player in the right position. And I am hoping the issue was it was taking too long for play to be sent to TT and then for TT to relay to the team. A QB needs time to survey the defense and think about the coverage, spot a blitz, and multiple other key alignments. Again I am hoping this corrects that issue, not saying it will, but I never could understand the lack of urgency or even a lack of trying to move at a faster pace when the Bills were between plays.
  2. Impressive, I don't know how you got that far...Would have been a great Fear Factor challenge...
  3. please rise, sit, or take a knee... http://ftw.usatoday.com/2016/09/south-park-colin-kaepernick-anthem-protest-nfl
  4. Last year the conversation here revolved around fear of losing Roman to a head coaching job... oh how times have changed...
  5. I was at the game, so I didn't notice the D formations as much. I got sick of Decker being wide open over the middle time and time again and have no idea where the safeties were playing during those. The all 22 should be telling on both sides of the ball...
  6. The pass rush disappeared because they had to help in the secondary. And obviously that didn't work, so I would have sent the house. Fitz was only hit in the pocket a few times the whole game. Gave up long drives and then a short offensive series and they were right back out there...Jets had the ball for what 40 minutes?
  7. i was going to reply to this post right away, but what's the rush..... That seems to be the philosophy of the Bills offense. they look so lethargic walking up to the line just taking their sweet old time no matter what the situation. I want TT to take control of this team, but I just don't see him as a leader. It's soooo frustrating to watch.
  8. My parents went to every SB, so of course I had a party for every SB. I was finally of legal drinking age for the 3rd one, those were fun times. Anyone remember going to the Buffalo Sports Garden on Elmwood across from Channel 4 back in the day. that was a cool place to watch a game and it was huge and packed.
  9. Butler put all his eggs in one basket and built a team that was going make a one run, knowing that the salary cap would tear it apart the following year.
  10. Sounds like we won the off season more than a few times way back when...
  11. If Wade didn't have to speak to the media he might have coached the team for 10 years+. He was a good coach who said some of the worst things possible whenever he spoke, "punt catcher" and "both teams are out of it" immediately come to mind... As far as the OP, 2 games might as well be 6 or 7 during this drought. 10 wins might not make the playoffs in the AFC again this year, so does anyone believe the Bills can go 11-3 the rest of the way?
  12. 1. yes, they held the ball for 40 minutes! Buffalo could not a get a third down stop... 2. the corners were supposed to be the strong point of the defense, it was a horrible game for the secondary all the way around. Plus Fitz made some great throws, he killed us. 3. plenty of chances, too many 3 and outs again, especially when the D needed a breather... 4. the O line was a nice surprise against a monster defensive front, those guys are huge and fast. TT has no anticipation. 5. the high school coaching call on the 3rd and 4th and 1 was embarrassing. 2 terrible calls and a timeout, no excuse for that. But yes, still could have easily won this game. 6. there is no rush to the line, as much as i hate the *Pats, the whole team runs to the ball and gets off a play asap. the QB needs to hurry his players, but he's just taking his time, it's frustrating, but nothing new. 7. The Jets have a really good Defense, didn't have a great game, but they are good.
  13. It gets backed up in area's around rush hour as do most of the main roads. The last Thursday night game I took Harlem and that was a colossal mistake, it was so backed up and slow... i plan on taking the Skyway off of the 190 and then Lake to McKinley.
  14. I don't like it either, but that seems to be the consensus on the local news stations...
  15. Uhg, I am dreading the drive to The Cap...I live in Amherst and can't leave until 4 due to work. I park off of Southwestern, I think I am going to go the 190 to avoid the cluster getting from the 290 to the 90 and beyond. Not that the 190 will be clear sailing, but I hope it's better.
  16. After spending some time on the stadium wall, i needed that....
  17. Yes, He dove at the ankles and if Flacco was in the pocket ready to pass, it would be legit. but he started to tuck the ball and run, then he stopped an threw it. At what point, is Flacco declared a runner? I think it was a horrible call...
  18. The Bills will sign him to their practice squad...
  19. Yes it was pretty clear on the replay that someone ran up to Rex and said TD and Rex through the flag.
  20. If it's a 10-10 game, I don't think the Ravens take the points off the board after the Worthy penalty. That puts 2 more minutes on the clock and maybe gives the Bills another possession. Of course a lot of things would have played out differently, but I do believe the miss was big....
