  1. TT is the best QB on this roster.
  2. Exactly why I prefaced it as such, Eichel is and will be a hell of a player, but McDavid is a generational talent just like you stated. That's exactly the point of the qualifier.
  3. With the current roster, a 100% healthy Sabres team would be competing for the 8th playoff spot at best. It's no surprise that with a depleted team, they are struggling to say the least. They do not have depth at this point and time, the past could years were spent trying to build the top 2 lines and top defensive pairings. The depth was a known issue going into this season. This team still has work to do before being considered a legitimate contender, losing out on McDavid really hurt the offensive progress, that was a devastating blow. Nothing against Eichel, but McDavid will be an offensive stud for many years to come. Unfortunately, we won't even know where this team really needs help until they play with a healthy roster. Fun stuff...
  4. As I mentioned earlier, the Sabres V NJ games were actually enjoyable with a lot of action. A far cry from years past.
  5. The last 5 games the Sabres have scored 1,2,1,1, and 0 goals.....8 straight games scoring 2 or less goals. Hasek in his prime wouldn't be able to come away with many point during this drought...
  6. Negan had some great lines, but this one was epic: "Holy crap, you are creepy as s#!t sneaking up on me wearing that collar with that freaky ass smile."
  7. Possibly, impossible to say with the information we have. But I think that was there only option at the time. They had no choice but to walk no matter what the distance, it was their only hope of getting there however slim it may have been.
  8. The reason Rick said Maggie didn't make it was to give Negan no reason to think Maggie may be at the Hilltop or that they even knew about the Hilltoppers. But yes, I agree, Negan should have been able to at least think they might be heading to the Hilltop. That being said, I don't think Negan knows. Let's face it, the only way to beat the Saviors is for the 3 groups to come together and if Negan had the slightest idea that they knew of each other, he would take them out. So I just found this: If it is indeed 20 miles from the Alexandria Safe-Zone, then Negan could have intercepted Rick's crew well before they were even close and therefore wouldn't really think about them heading there.
  9. Yes, definitely loves playing head games...
  10. I thought the most interesting aspect, that I have witnessed to this point, of the longer XP came into play during last nights NE/Sea game. Carroll elected to go for 2 up 7 points rather than kick the XP and go up 8. That tells me he would rather have NE attempt a game tying XP than go for a 2 point conversion. I actually like that decision, it was an interesting one for sure...
  11. And wouldn't you think they would have destroyed the inventory list? I mean that's just basic CYA. Rick did say he thought about hiding some weapons, but feared what might happen if caught.
  12. That really symbolized Rick's inner struggle. He wants more than anything to put the bat to the back of Negan's head, so they would show him gripping the bat tightly. But then reality sets in and there's nothing he can do that won't get everyone or at least most of his people killed, so he released his grip. His admission that he will do whatever it takes to keep Judith alive also implies that he will do whatever Negan says, at least for the time being. Especially if Rick doesn't come up with anything "interesting" to make Negan's next visit worth while.
  13. From what i read regarding locations, the best information I can find is that all 4 locations are within 20 miles of each other. here's a decent link with some location best guesses: http://www.tvguide.com/news/the-walking-dead-locations-alexandria-hilltop-kingdom-sanctuary/
  14. That's not the same old boring NJ team. They actually try to generate offense. I usually can't stomach watching them, but they seemed to have changed for the better, at least from a fans perspective. Granted, these are the only 2 games which I have seen NJ, and the Sabres are banged up. But they look like a really good team.
  15. I agree. Plus, gasoline does have a shelf life and the apocalypse is almost 2 years running now, not to mention the gas guzzlers the Saviors are driving. But it is a show about zombies, so if you can believe that, i guess we have to accept that gasoline is still available. FYI...this is what I found online regarding the "Alexandria safe-zone" The Alexandria Safe-Zone, or simply Alexandria, is a few blocks of cleared streets in Alexandria, Virginia, about six miles south from Washington D.C..
  16. Gronk usually gets away with initiating contact and either flops or pulls the guy down with him and draws a flag, glad to see he didn't get that call...
  17. Never been so happy to hear "Crying"...
  18. They are next to go, first I have to scrap my cassettes...
  19. I thought Jake McCabe stood out as well. He was flying all over the ice, really showing his speed.
  20. Now that I had a day to stew, I can put things in better perspective. It really is amazing what The Tribe did in the post season. They lose their best hitter very early in the year, their #2 and #3 both get hurt late in the year and their #4 slices his finger open. And yet they were up in the World Series 3 games to 1! The longer the series went the more it favored the Cubs with the banged up Indians pitching. They really needed that game 5, just couldn't get the timely hits. Still sucks and hurts, but they really had a truly amazing run...GO TRIBE!!!!
  21. Not sure if that's enough for a 35 year old QB, especially if we're trading a QB that's been benched, might have to throw in a first the following year as well.
  22. Sadly, no. I just didn't have the time this summer, but it's on the Christmas wish list. I will definitely be referring to this thread when the time comes, lots of great information!
  23. You run into a hot goalie sometimes, it just happens in hockey. They were buzzing all around the net, especially in the third, but Anderson played great.
