  1. Watched episode 10 last night, not at all what I expected! Very good season finale, sets up well for next season...
  2. 'Game of Thrones' Director Reacts to Fan Criticism of Season 7 Pacing: 'They're Just Torturing Themselves' https://uk.news.yahoo.com/apos-game-thrones-apos-director-191737691.html “You’ve got a [dragon] that’s bigger than a [boeing] 747 [plane] with seven people riding on its back, and you’re worried about the speed of a raven being believable. OK, obviously, we’re not doing our jobs correctly for you, but it seems to be working for a lot of other people.”
  3. Traveling 1000s of miles in real time probably wouldn't make for really good TV, episode run times would be like 60 hours or so.
  4. I think EJ will be a decent backup for several years. But nothing more...
  5. They really could have used Rick, Daryl, and Carol for that episode...
  6. A handful of OHL pre-season games will be played at HarborCenter http://ontariohockeyleague.com/article/2017-ohl-exhibition-and-pre-season-showcase-schedule
  7. There are limited seating options for $20 +fee's (~42) at travelzoo, which make the fees and tax total more than the ticket. https://www.travelzoo.com/entertainment/boston-northeast/-20-Guns-N-Roses-Concert-in-Buffalo-2513860/?searchGuid=e6d11ef7-bf78-4581-bfef-3d6ff1e5077c Any word on the opening act for Buffalo? Hoping to make it to Hammer's Lot...
  8. Someone tweeted Howard Simon this morning....Since Peterman is the future at QB, we can now use our 2 first round picks next year on a kicker and punter... Now that's a Bills move...
  9. As I stated earlier, I brought my son last season who was 3 and half. He had a great time and there were absolutely no issues. It's so much different than a regular season game. Everyone laughs at bad plays and bad calls, you barely clap for touchdowns, you don't yell for DEFENSE on third downs. It's just a very casual environment for the most part. Of course there will always be a few drunks dropping F-bombs, but they are few a far between for preseason games, and you can easily be sitting next to obnoxious people at a restaraunt. But to be honest, before I had my son, I was one of the "they won't remember, so why do it" idiots. I have actually apologized to parents I have said that to after having my son. There's nothing like seeing your children having fun, I wouldn't spend Disney kind of money for very young child, but will never regret taking him to Bills, Bisons, or Sabres games at an early age.
  10. Took my 3.5 year old, at that time, to last years pre-season. It was an earlier start and we were feeling the heat, he was just pouring sweat. But eventually some clouds rolled through and it was perfect. We stayed for the first half and he loved, still talks about going, but I'm not taking him this the year. If there is an earlier pre-season game next year, I will take him again. Pre-season games are very mild, don't have to worry about most of the shenanigans of a regular season game. There are family bathrooms, just make sure you know where those are located. Other than that, enjoy! I know they are young and wont remember much as they get older, but they will enjoy it while they are there. Take lot's of pictures, great memories!!! GO BILLS!
  11. I agree, it was pretty funny. But it also gives a sense of the amount of time Sam's been there as well as showing his loyalty and the length he is willing to go to in order to help Jon Snow defeat the white walkers. There could be severe consequences for taking that book though... Also here's an interesting theory regarding Ser Jorah:
  12. There used to be a season ticket holder in my section, his nickname was psycho ward. Wore a doctor's jacket and everything, miss that guy, he was a character....
  13. Mangia in OP has a pretty sweet rooftop setup. http://mangiaristorante.com/ Buffalo Proper has outdoor terrace dining. And The Steer has a nice rooftop as well.
  14. “The graveyard is the richest place on earth, because it is here that you will find all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled, the books that were never written, the songs that were never sung, the inventions that were never shared, the cures that were never discovered, all because someone was too afraid to take that first step...”
  15. Maybe, just maybe, he's not as bad as all the experts here claim he is. Or he could be fired tomorrow. really don't know....
  16. He was brutal in the playoffs, a liability on the ice more times than not. Maybe he was playing hurt, it is the playoffs. But that's a big leap to justify signing him to a big contract after that performance...
  17. I agree JohnC, Buffalo has to get better on D. You can definitely see the impact that defensemen that can move the puck have in the NHL playoffs. Nashville is just fantastic when it comes to clearing the zone and moving the puck. And who knows, maybe their defensive coach may be coaching in Buffalo soon...
  18. Nope, you already have your mind's made up...check it out for yourself.
  19. He was on with Murph tooday, there is a reason he did what he did. So don't rush to call him an idiot or a bad planner. Even though I really wouldn't expect any less from some here.
  20. Jessie James... https://www.yahoo.com/news/jessie-james-decker-hasn-apos-013441621.html
  21. I remember being a regular there years and years ago. An end of an era, but probably more surprising that it lasted this long. http://buffalonews.com/2017/06/06/closing-sole-remaining-record-theatre-location-represents-end-era/
  22. you led with "I'm hearing", technically that's coming from someone else. I wouldn't doubt you...
