I agree, the Chargers are playing great football at the moment. 5 of their losses were by 3 points or less, the other was by 8 and that was at NE. Anyone who says the Bills would have beat LA with TT is crazy, that game was a blowout regardless....

The recipe for the Bills to get a Wild Card is play great team defense and run an efficient enough offense with no turnovers. From the outside looking in, it looks like the play calling sucks and is way too conservative. But what do you do with a QB that doesn't take chances? That has to be a tough spot for an OC. I am not a huge Dennison fan either, but the man's hands are tied. KC had 2 spies on TT, so he couldn't run wild or roll out or he was toast. He doesn't throw down field much, so what does that leave? I really don't know what else he can do but hope to put up close to 20 points a week with conservative clock burning play calls...

25% would be great, they had about a 17.5% yesterday...

Actually you are wrong. While the majority of TT's completions were short catch and run type plays, he did attempt to go deep quite a few times. This keeps the defense honest, which he wasn't doing a good job of previously. Of course with the game out of hand, it's hard to truly determine with a prevent defense, but he needs to throw it down field. I feel the same way. I don't think they put Peterman in thinking he was a better QB, I think they believed he could run the offense better. When TT came into the game, he actually threw the ball down field! It was a very expensive lesson, but I hope he learned. I would imagine TT will be on a short leash as well, if he doesn't start trusting his throws, he gets pulled. I understand all the debate as to whether TT is being limited by the coaching staff as well. I do not believe that, I believe they are trying to make him an all around QB. Yes, they can tailor an offense that fits his running skills, but that becomes easy to defend. The Peterman throw over the middle to KB is impossible to stop, TT needs to trust that throw and have the defense respect the pass. If he doesn't become multidimensional get ready for more 3 and outs....

Now that the Georgia Dome is gone, that only leave one stadium standing in which the Bills played a SB. Just need to get rid of the Rose Bowl now...

I still do. Tyrod may sneak the Bills into the playoffs, and this year looks like the best shot with a weak AFC, but they have no shot to get any further. As Bills fans, making the playoffs would end the drought, which would be great. But to the new regime, making the playoffs and losing, is the same as not making it. They are trying to build a team that will win a SB and Tyrod will never lead this team to a SB.

Last season there was a flying object shown behind Rick when he was at the junk yard. Most thought it was a mistake by the editors, but maybe it was intentional The thing that really stuck out to me was that Rick didn't seem all that surprised. Could the junk yard gang have a chopper?

Tough as hell spot? I don't get it? Other than starting the season as the QB, this might be the ideal spot. He's had more than half of a season to watch games from the sidelines and study film with the team. It's on the road, but in a small stadium with band wagon fans against a sub .500 team. Fans might begin to grumble a bit after a couple bad passes if it were home. I really believe it's the perfect scenario. And McCoy will be fine. What's he going to say? great move?

All of the Saints wins were against teams that are currently .500 or less. So even if the Bills beat the Saints, some posters here will still not be impressed...

All that is true, which really means the Bucs were the lucky team. The game was close because of those mistakes, bucs should have been down double digits.. The Bills were fortunate to win despite their mistakes, but good teams do that.

He will not be a high sack number guy, but he will do a lot of great things that contribute to the overall defensive success of the team that average fan will not notice. But this is his first full year, so maybe he can develop into more as career progresses.

This team may very well be good enough to make the playoffs, but no where near good enough to win the SB, and that's the ultimate goal of course. As fans of a team that hasn't made the playoffs in so many years, we would love to make the playoffs now. But I would much rather build a sustainable team for the future, start a long run of playoff appearances, and win a SB. Hopefully trusting the process will yield these results....
