  1. He didn't win any games by himself last year. He played better than this year obviously, but he had a great team around him and they won. Look at his SB stats, he's not an elite QB.
  2. I agree, give him experience in every situation. But going into next years camp, after a full season of experience under his belt, it's time to stop referring to him as "the kid".
  3. I noticed that Stamer played a lot in the second half, but there was no mention of Crowell's injury.
  4. Ok, at least now I know your joking. Last time I thought your were serious when you posted the "hot" Canadian football cheerleader, but I'm on to you now. Actually, she looks high, must have met up with Ricky after one of the games...
  5. I need to start 2... I like Gore (or any RB for that matter) against Oakland. Even though he's fumbling and a bit banged up, it's still Oakland. Parker and the Steelers coming off a bye week, should be well rested. But they are going against a very tough run D in SD. Brown has been disappointing, but the Pats are not good against the run. Suggestions?
  6. All the good replies came on Sunday morning while I was tail gating!! I stuck with Smith, but still won this week. Someone dropped Colston this week and I scooped him up. Without him I lose, but now Eli's back and I can count on decent QB numbers.
  7. I got screwed in a similar fashion with my fantasy baseball team. That's why I will only join on-line leagues, it's all automated. You have to be very trusting of a commishioner is your league, becuase he gets an unfair advantage every week.
  8. A half back option pass? I laughed my a$$ off when I saw that. Thank God MM is not calling plays for us!!!
  9. I'll take 60+% red zone conversion every week. You have to admit the PP score was a fluke, we really should have lost yardage on that. A TD is a TD and will never complain about that. All I am saying is the calling has been very conservative in the red zone and the Bills need to get more aggressive to be successful.
  10. The reason the traffic was light is because a lot of people left early... The reason people "upgraded" or move to different seats is because a lot of people left early... Why are people standing in the entrances and watching the game? Get in your seats and make some noise, come on 12th man....
  11. Yet for some reason thousands of "fans" left the game early. How can you possibly leave a game so close? Why waste your money if your going to leave before the most exciting part? The 2 girls that sit behind me (season ticket holders) tapped me on the shoulder and said goodbye when the vikings got the ball with under 2 minutes and the game on the line! It's one thing to beat traffic if the game is out of hand, but this was a nail biter to the end. at least the true fans left in the stadium made some good noise at the end.
  12. The scoreboard is a joke. They rarely show replays. I would have liked to see Flether's awesome INT again, but of course they don't show that. Just some clown wearing a Fletcher jersey trying to get the crowd up (that we me)!!! Oh yeah, almost forgot...Ay!!!
  13. It's nice, and rare, when posters will admit they are wrong. Usually we only here the "I called it" or "I told you so." While I am not 100% sold on JP yet, he is making significant strides and continues to get better. He has a cannon for an arm. While BJ's throws were hanging in the wind, JP's were cutting right through with zip. After a full year under his belt, he should have a great deal of confidence going into camp next year. Not saying that this year is a wash, but I am thinking playoffs next year. GO BILLS!!!
  14. You are exactly right that the coaching staff is bringing JP along slowly, but it did almost cost them the game. When 1st and goal at the 5 results in 4th and goal at the 5, it's time to analyze your play calling. I agree that Fairchild should bring JP along slowly, but there are times you have to take chances. You have to capitalize in the red zone!
  15. You would need LT to go down before Turner adds any value to your team, although he is talented and would start for most teams. Jones-Drew may be the starter by the end of the season, I'd take a chance on him.
  16. While you have good depth, you will be making another team in your league a lot better. Williams is starting to gel with Kitna and will continue to produce. Favre is #3 on your depth chart so that doesn't matter. And Gore had a bad game, I don't think he'll get that many less goal line carries. Caddy is oft injured and teams playing TB are going to stack the line and let the rook beat them.
  17. See if you can buy low on a QB starting off slow, maybe Brady. Gore and Kitna for Brady and 4th RB.
  18. How is Witten still out there? 6 team league? And McMichael is the next best TE behind him. After that is E. Johnson, he will step for VD and not miss a beat. Although he is injury proned.
  19. Your leaning in the right direction... Branch's second game with Seattle against a monster D...
  20. You just answered your own question. Taylor will get way more touches than Jones and the Bills D is weak against the run.
  21. With Eli on a bye, I am stuck with A. Smith at QB. I could pick up J. Kitna or C. Frye. Who do you think has the better week?
  22. If Kelly Kapowski and Jessie Spano are in it, I'm buying it!!!! Ouch........damn Milwaukee Best Light can...
