  1. Heard this on WGR this morning. Simon and White were butchering the pronunciation. Wish I would have know about the Pierogy fest in down town Buff this past summer, good stuff...
  2. It's all about the money.... Again, wasn't cracking on Fred. State. Just tried to get a reaction from Pooj to prove a point...
  3. It's all about pride! I don't believe we puff our chests out more than anyone else and if we do it's because most people go out of their way to bash Buffalo. I am a Buffalonian and always will be. I enjoy reading positive articles about Buffalo and defend the city when it's knocked. I threw the Fredonia State comment out there to trigger a response. You are obviously proud to have gone there or you wouldn't have dropped the F bomb when I dissed the institution, that's the same way I am with Buffalo.
  4. And if you ever attended a game that went to a shootout, the whole building is electric and no on sits during the whole thing. The only thing that gets confusing is the "goals for" column. You get a goal for winning a shootout but the team doesn't really score the goal during the game, so you have to subtract SO wins from the "goals for" to get the actual goals scored total.
  5. What do you recommend? The best thing the league did was eliminate the tie, I hated spending $50 or whatever on a ticket and watching a tie. Adding another column for SOW's would just confuse people and take up the whole sports page. A shootout loss does count, but cannot be put in the L column because you get a point for it. A shootout win can be placed in the W column because you get 2 points regardless of how the game was won.
  6. I'll be there Sunday and the rest of the year for that matter. I knew this was going to be a long year with a lot of growing pains, but I renewed my season tickets none the less. I'll get'em again next year. Don't worry, when the Bills do start winning again, the bandwaggoners will be back. Check out a Sabres board a few years back, same thing.
  7. Ok, so the thread mentions WNY. Big deal. The letter makes no mention of kindness in WNY, only the kindness found in the Buffalo area. It's a nice compliment and shows that Buffalo is a truly great community. How in the world does this prove that we are starving for attention when no one in Buffalo wrote this letter? Do you have a clue Pooj? I know Fredonia State doesn't have the highest academic standards, but dude this is ridiculous. Anyone that can spin a nice comment for Buffalo around like that is nothing more than a d!ckhead. Unless you are just trying to rile people up, which if that's the case, you certainly did.
  8. Now that's a "cool" (avatar) gift!! Enjoy, have a great time... I'll be a the Bills game, but not the Sabres... Blow leafs blow!!! Losers
  9. I need to start 3 out of: Colston Galloway Ward Stallworth Driver I like Driver against the Bills secondary. Colston has been solid all year. Stallworth is still risky with his hamstring. Galloway is streaky. Big Ben is struggling, so Ward is iffy. Any suggestions???
  10. Any one else available? This should be a good week for Huard or even gradkowski. I just don't trust Carr.
  11. That makes sense, also agree that he had no chance of winning his appeal. Athletes take supplements at their own risk.
  12. I still think they crush Cleveland. Either taking SD or Chicago to whip Miami...
  13. Yes, you are exactly right. His hearing was scheduled for Nov. 7th and who knows how long a decision would have taken. After Buffalo, they play 3 straight division games. Don't know about the penaltly for a failed appeal though.
  14. Great, we'll have to face a well rested PO'd Merriman. Hopefully we have a little better showing against the bolts than last year!! That shouldn't be too difficult, right?
  15. There really is no such thing as injury-proned. There are players that get hurt each and every week and play with the pain. Injury-proned is just a polite way of saying the guy isn't that tough and just won't play through the pain of his injuries.
  16. Agreed, stupid post....Do you think NE chat rooms are posting "look out for JP for years to come"!! Well....you know what I mean...
  17. Mathison averaged 14.5 Yards per completion, that's pretty good. Too bad he didn't have many of them!
  18. Also FYI, Gerrard is starting this week for Jax. He might be a good pickup, I think there will be a lot of points in this game.
  19. VY is hit or miss, too big of a risk IMHO. the provens are Plummer and McNair, I would give the slight edge to Plummer. Check the forecast though, McNair in a dome would have an edge over Plummer in bad weather.
  20. I like Taylor this week, unless the forecast in NY call for some bad weather. Gruden said he is going to open up the passing game this week and that could cost Caddy some carries.
  21. I would make the trade. Driver is going to see a lot more double coverage with Jennings hurt. Gore is good, but is the perfect sell high candidate. He is one more fumble away from losing all his goal line carries. It's a risk with Westbrook's health, but if he can remain healthy, he is dangerous.
  22. I know you weren't taking a shot, and I am not disagreeing with what you are saying. All I am saying is the re-building process is wearing on me. I am a patient person and am willing to give this regime time to build its team, but sitting in the rain watching that crap really p!$$ed me off. Especially with a stadium 1/4 full of Patsy band Wagoner's!!!
