  1. Marv is not putting the cart before the horse. We did lose a ton of experience though, perfect opportunity for some of the younger guys to step up. Marv is building a solid core of young players and if they still need leadership they can address that in FA in years to come.
  2. He would've fit in nice with Mularkey, Boise ran his type of offense....
  3. To me it sounds like WM is complaining about the morals of the women of Buffalo as opposed to those of Miami. In Miami the gold diggers were all over WM because he's a "star" and has big money, they were willing to do anything. In Buffalo it takes more than money to impress the women (for the most part, not saying Buffalo has no gold diggers!!), they are a little more classy. I used to bartend at Banana Joe's year's ago (the place that replaced Jim Kelly's old joint) and Todd Collins was in there acting like a hot shot surrounded by his linemen. He was hitting on this very attractive blonde and she was ignoring him. He kept saying "don't you know who I am" and she said "I don't care who you are, you're annoying." Pretty classic, Todd Collins thinking he was all that. Poor WM, no baby mamma's from Buffalo. He can party all week long in Fells Point (great party area) now and be nice and hungover on Sunday's. WM puts himself way before the team and it's no wonder Marv got rid of him. I did like WM as a player, but not as a person.
  4. I believe that's Marv & Co. intent, to build the core of this team via the draft. From the looks of it now, the Bills will be competetive and very young this coming season. I don't believe it translates into a playoff appearance yet, but it does look very good for the near future. Anything can happen though. We did lose talent, but Marv is building this team and so far getting value for vets that would walk free when their contracts are up. I like the way this team is being put together!!!
  5. Haven't seen enough of him to know the answer to that one.
  6. I have a good feeling as well, maybe because there is some direction with this team. Unfortunately, this should have been the direction years ago. Is anybody really surprised at the moves the Bills have made the past couple off seasons? I think when Marv took over it was assumed he would make this team his own. This is going to be a very young and exciting team next year and Marv's plan is starting to take shape.
  7. My guess would be Nall #2 and draftee #3. But they might bring a vet in for camp, don't think it would be a high profile vet though.
  8. Fixed forever, that's a good one!! My house in Amherst has been assest 3 times in 5 years, going up about 50k total. The taxes are sick, we pay over 6 grand a year....
  9. I understand people being upset about Grier, he and Drury were incredible on the penalty kills. Throw in McKee's blocked shots and it's no wonder why the penalty kill has struggled at times this year. But Pyatt? Is he even playing this year? I haven't heard his name once and losing him was no big deal at all as far as I am concerned. The post season is a different beast, guys that normally do not hit will finish checks. I am not worried about the "grit" of the Sabres at all. The defense, on the other hand, is a different story! We shall see, GO SABRES!!!
  10. Ok, I spit my coffee all over the keyboard reading the bold above. No one actaully said that, did they? That was one of the funniest things I have read in a long time....
  11. What a great weekend this will be... Thursday, March Madness and Sabres Friday, March Madness and Sabres Saturday, March Madness and St. Patties Day (insane!!) Sunday, March Madness and afternoon Sabres game...... Saweeeeeeet!!!!!
  12. I agree to a point with your attempt at a whimsical rebuttal. I guess I was mostly responding to the part of your post in which you were whining like a little girl that they were able to sneak a bomb into the presidential bunker. IMHO this statement is claiming the show is too farfetched (see CN 2). You could go back to many instances through the shows existence and find similar outrageousness. Kind of like the movies where the villain catches the hero, but instead of killing him, he ties him up and explains his master plan. The hero then escapes and saves the day! Far fetched? Yes. Enjoyable? Fo sho...... Here is my version of Cliff Notes or should I say Man Laws for future posts: 1. If you truly enjoy the show, do not whine when something outrageous happens!! 2. Don't throw 25 cent words around on this board trying to seem so much more edjumacated than everyone else, it only makes you look pathetic (this also includes bragging about PhD's or job status). 3. Don't use more than 2 smiley icons in a post....2 is pushing the limits... 4. Don't post Cliff Note versions of previous posts! If you have to, your posts are way too long and your just wasting space saying the same thing twice. Hope this helps.... Until next week....Sick'em Jack....
  13. Read it an responded to it, jumped around like one a Pyrite Gals rants...
  14. That would only apply if the same shooter used the same move twice, not sure I really understand your point?
  15. Those were some sick moves! Two of the best SO goals I have seen this season...
  16. Was wondering who the first person to post her would be....Chris Hanson is watching!!!!
  17. Definitely not a cashier at a restaurant....Yikes, give that girl some food.....
  18. Whoa dude...Take a step back from the ledge!! Of course the show is far fetched, I don't think anyone has ever said any different. It's not like this is the first year that impossible or implausible things have happened, it's been that way from the start. You have to accept the show for what it is if you want to enjoy it, this is not a reality show....
  19. You heard the rumors too, eh? I have heard this a few times.
  20. With her new enhancements, she should definitely be on the list!!!
  21. Typical response, wouldn't expect any less...
