  1. WITH FAVRE - I would agree the the Bills would not be worse than Jax, Pitt, or Cleveland. But I don't think PK's point was with Favre though, I think he just means as it stands now. You really can't argue that point, currently with TE's it's anyone's guess how good they will be. The Bills need to win games and prove themselves as contenders before you can be put in that position. The bottom line is no playoffs in 9 years. If I am an aging QB, with most likely 2 years left, I want to go to a team that is proven. Hopefully this is the year that puts Buffalo back on the playoff/contender chart....GO BILLS!!!!
  2. It could be worse, according to this article, written on 7/9, the bungles had none of their 10 draft picks signed at that point. Found an article from the 15th and they were down to 7, so even the bungles are getting players signed. We all know how this works, it happens every year. The Player signing pace will pick up rapidly as training camp nears. Once the above and below picks sign, the player is slotted at an in between salary and signing is easy. Be patient, no need to panic yet.....GO BILLS!!!!
  3. Thought about seasons, but ended up just getting 3 games. Going to the opener against UTEP, Army, and the ESPN2 Miami, OH game. Hopefully it's a good season, enjoy your seasons!!! They have 2 games scheduled on ESPNU as well, @Ohio and @Akron.
  4. It happens quite a bit actually. It either happened last year or the year before, I think the rarity is the double victory. I remember reading an article about that, I'll see if I can dig it up....
  5. Going old school, I never understood: "Cool Beans" A guy I know still uses that one...
  6. The Bills already have their money for all the Toronto games, they are not concerned with ticket sales. Although if you mean future games beyond the 5 year agreement being played in Toronto may be affected, then I can see that point. But for the first 5 years, the Bills already have guaranteed money. I see these games selling out with little or no problem though. It is only July...
  7. At first I thought how the heck are the Bills better than Atlanta, then I remembered Crumpler going to the Titans. What a huge loss for the ATL! I think by the end of the season our TE's will rank around 24 or 25.
  8. Interesting fact, but wouldn't it be most famous for what you think?
  9. They were at Buffalo Rocks the Harbor a few years ago. I didn't enjoy the show that much. They really went country and that's music I never could get into. Of course they played all the old school favorites for the finale, which received the loudest applause. And I definitely agree with the closet comment.
  10. Well you're definitely not the only one, wasn't trying to single you out, just wanted clarification. I am by no means the grammar police, as I don't think it matters on a football forum.
  11. Leon "Dr. Sack" Seals shirt. Used to wear it all the time, great shirt. Also had a Larry Bird Celtics championship shirt that was pretty sweet. On a side note, is the word "rediculous" an inside joke on TBD? I see it "alot" (another one) and I don't know if it's poor spelling or an inside joke? Anyone? "Noone" (?) ?
  12. Fat guy in a little coat. Fat guy in a little coat.
  13. I know. I know. Just hoping for a strip club and cheaper gas closer to me....
  14. If the appeal holds and I were the Seneca's, I would put in gas pumps and smoke shops. And maybe a strip club, just to pi$$ just about everyone off... But I still think they'll get this overturned somehow. I remember when Pataki tried to collect tax on cigarette's and gas from the Seneca's and they shut down the throughway by lighting tires on fire. I was commuting then and they were selling "No Pataxi" shirts on the reservation. They will do whatever it takes to get their way...
  15. Got mine and put them in a drawer, where they will stay for 2 months....WoooHooo...
  16. There will be appeals, this isn't over yet. But it's not looking good due to the wording of the Seneca Nation Settlement Act of 1990: "Congress gave the act the short title, ‘Seneca Nation Settlement Act of 1990,’ ” Skretny said. “Congress did not include the term ‘claim,’ much less ‘land claim’ in the [act’s] long or short titles.” In other words, Skretny said, it was not a land claim act, one of the few exceptions to the law that allows Indian casinos to be opened off reservations.
  17. Swing and a miss, huh? I thought it was kind of funny. Ok, you sold me! Dude is awesome, sweet video! Hey VOR...the better would be, has any of AKC's bartender friends ever given him a free or discounted drink? Because if so, they would be guilty of cheating that business, remember:
  18. All this talk has me yearning for the season to start so we can talk about football. I'm looking forward to sneaking some booze (yes, I am a scumbag) into the Ralph and rooting for ML and the Bills. GO BILLS!!!!!!! PS Elliot, your avatar brings back memories. Used to listen to Twisted Sister all the time...."We're not gonna take it....No, we ain't gonna take it....We're not gonna take it anymore"
  19. Perfect example "market value": Pittsburgh Penguins sign UFA forward Miroslav Satan (1-year, $3.5 million).
  20. MIB 1 & 2 were released around the 4th of July as well, must be a Will Smith thing...
  21. I'm frustrated as well, but the current "market value" for mediocre players is going to lead to another lock out very soon. And Darcy only has what LQ and TG allot, so if he pays 4 or 5 million for mid range talent and only has 9 or 10 mill to use total, how much can you really improve a team?
  22. Not in all states. I know they tried to pass a road rage law here in NY prohibiting giving the single finger salute, don't know if it was ever passed though.
  23. Campbell is a very good player, 7.14 is probably more than he's worth, but Chicago wanted him and were willing to overpay to assure his signing. Kind of reminds me of when McKee received 4 mill from St. Louis, they definitely overpaid, but wanted to make sure they got him. Campbell overall is very good with the puck, he's consistently able to gain the blue line on the power play, although he doesn't have much of a shot. He lays the occasional big hit, but isn't a real physical player. His main problem is that he turns the puck over quite a bit, which I believe is the main reason San Jose didn't sign him. I hope he does well in Chicago, they have a really nice young team and should be exciting to watch.
