  1. Good point, both will be seeking a big signing bonus and guaranteed money. So are the Bills ready to fork over all that up front money on 2 players? They seem to be having a hard enough time signing Evans, doesn't look good at this point and time...
  2. I agree, I don't think that's a consideration either. I kind of thought that initially, but I would think the "new" contract would state "pending physical" or something of that nature.
  3. Just a personal opinion, I haven't read much on him lately. There was another WM topic not too long ago that had links, it may be in there.
  4. I actually think less, that's why they drafted Rice.
  5. I can speculate that both sides know the others stance, yes. I would hope that they talked in depth, but I have nothing to back that. The only thing I read was that they had a very brief conversation about JP, but were mostly focused on signing Hardy at the time. I don't know how true that is, but that's all I have heard to this point.
  6. That's my point!! Nothing is difficult to believe, yet there continue to be endless posts on speculation. We know what JP wants, we can "speculate" what the Bills want. Both sides have good reasons. Is one side more right than the other? I don't know. All I am saying is there has been nothing new reported and I can only logically discuss this issue by what I read or hear and I haven't heard anything new recently. Everything else is speculation!
  7. Yes, exactly what I said: "We all have an idea that this is what is happening" We know there have been talks, but to what extent is all speculation. Basically we have been going back and forth on hundreds of posts on speculation, that's why all the krazykay posts on the same topic is driving everyone KRAZY...
  8. Yes exactly what I said: "We all have an idea that this is what is happening"
  9. Most "idjits" here are going by what has been reported. We have been waiting for the inside scoop from those in the know, such as yourself. So Parker has had talks with the Bills and stated what they are looking for. The Bills in return want JP in camp before negotiating. We all have an idea that this is what is happening, but this is the first time it has been reported "officially". So thanks for the inside scoop. Now that we know the details, you can end your crusade krazykat.
  10. Well, this is a list of Chicago players who did not participate in yesterdays practice due to injuries: Jason McKie, Mike Okwo, Garrett Wolfe, Zackary Bowman, Brandon Lloyd, Chris Williams, Chester Adams, Kevin Payne, Kevin Jones, Mark Anderson, Dusty Dvoracek and Dan Bazuin. Not saying that RJ isn't good at what he does. He is one of the best trainers in the league and I didn't want to see him leave Buffalo. I know what you're saying though, but injuries happen on every team...
  11. Agreed, 20 similar posts with a twist on the title. This cat just doesn't get it, I don't know if he just keeps posting until everyone agrees with him or what. Both sides have good arguments, maybe we should just humor him?
  12. Also, Randall Gay is on the Saints now...
  13. That may be the number one factor if your the Bills. Let's see if Peter's is in shape & fully recovered from his injury, then we'll talk. Both sides have a good argument, but sitting out probably isn't the best route for Peter's IMO.
  14. I agree 100%. I usually take a week or two hiatus to keep my sanity. If I start to become combative when others disagree with my posts, it's a good sign that I need to get away for a while. Take a break 1billsfan, it's only a forum of opinions....
  15. I agree. Losman's read progression is very slow and that's when he isn't locked into a particular receiver. It's too bad, he has all the physical tools and natural ability to be a very good QB in this league. but he's lacking in the mental part of the game.
  16. Not saying TE won't do it...but sometimes it's good just to throw the ball deep, even if Evans isn't open, to keep the D honest. Of course as long as he overthrows LE and there is no chance for a pick. I'm not saying he should do it all the time, but he can't just throw the deep ball when Evans is in an "ideal situation". This is all with the assumption he will have time, please get to camp JP!!!!
  17. Exactly what Hamilton said on GR yesterday. They are 2 totally different QB's...
  18. Found this quote, "Not everyone in Toronto is clueless", very interesting. You learn something new every day...
  19. Exactly! That's what I stated earlier. It's not that Goodell was lenient or forgiving because he was a first time offender, there was absolutely nothing he could do as ML did not break the personal conduct policy.
  20. espn is blocked here at work, but I am assuming it's a no punishment for ML link. Pretty much as expected as there were no criminal charges, the league does not have any disciplinary policy for traffic violations.
  21. You're new here, so your optimism hasn't been ripped out of you by all the pessimists yet (but they will keep trying). But seriously, it's been so long since I had to worry about playoff tickets that I forgot exactly how it works. But you definitely get first shot to buy your season ticket seats. With seasons over 54k, they would probably go by seniority for the extra's though. Here's hoping we can discuss this more when we are further into the season...GO BILLS!!!! You're right! Just like when it comes to women, it's all Mind over Matter....(and if she doesn't mind, then it doesn't matter)
  22. I can't remember the last time I've read a semi-optimistic post from Adam, very refreshing and I agree. If the Bills can keep this core together for 5+ years, we could be in for some really good football and excitement! Heck, get Evans signed to an extension and JP re-negotiated and maybe even obie_wan will be posting optimistically. GO BILLS!!!!
