I agree. Even though it's pre-season you can see the offense has changed, it definitely is not as predictable. Yes, it's not the regular season, but there is a big difference in philosophy...

I agree, I wish more would man up to knee jerk posts. But the whole injury thing is just wrong dude. I wanted Trent to get hurt because I thought JP was a better QB? no offense, but it just doesn't sound intelligent. Hopefully this is the beginning of TE's & the offense's break out, looks like they were running that offense for years. While it is only pre-season and I can't get too excited, I really liked the play calling. It was refreshing not being predictable. I was rooting for Fairchild to be sick and bed ridden last season, but at least he's gone now.... Starters were in for 2 series and forced one turnover. BR made some really nice throws. They do need to get more pressure, but I think once they incorporate some blitzes, they'll be fine. All in all a good performance as far as pre-season goes...

Yes, and he admitted as much. He actually added weight for the right tackle position and was hesitant to play left tackle because of that reason. We do need JP back, but at least all those "looks like JP has leverage afterall" posts after last weeks game will slow down. This line could be very very good with JP....

I somewhat agree. But you have to be aware of the other teams first and second string Defense. Because once the backups to the backups come in, there will be a guy that is questionable to make the team, trying to rip someones head off to make an impression on their coaching staff. That may come in the form of a late, dirty, or even just a hard hit. That's the danger of leaving your QB in too long. I am all for Edwards playing more, but you have to be smart about it as well...

Hardy stated that he snapped his turn too hard and felt a tweak in his ankle which caused him to turn slower than he would have normally. That split second combined with the velocity of the pass, caused him to miss the ball. Is it a good excuse? Probably not, but I also don't think drop balls will be an on going issue with him. I am very excited about his potential.

I agree that they need more work, but I honestly don't think that the lack of playing time is because DJ is "injury-scared". IIRC, he did the same thing last season. For whatever reason he just does not give the offense the work they need. I don't understand it, this is a very very young offense.

The problem with committing to only playing the starters for the first quarter is that if the defense doesn't stop the opposing offense like last week, then the offensive starters will only get 2 series. DJ should commit to 4 series or something, instead of 1 quarter...

Surprised this hasn't been discussed before... Losing Pat Williams was a huge loss in many ways. He loved the area and I believe he still lives here. He was not looking to be the highest paid player and probably would have taken the home team discount. Just a big mistake in which the Bills have never recovered...

Don't kid yourself the Bills can afford to pay a top notch coach, but they/Ralph won't...
