It's pre-season, what's the big deal? I usually give my tickets away for the pre-season. It's bad enough I have to pay full price for a ticket to that crap. I am not going to add to it with parking, beer, and food expenses as well, and then leave half way through a very boring game with backups playing. I would think there should be a lot more interest in going to the Bulls game than the Bills game, and as a matter of fact I will be at the Bulls game. Looking forward to it, GO BULLS!!!!

My guess would be the signing bonus, upfront, or guarenteed money, whatever you want to call it. If you're LE's you can ask for top dollar, knowing that if you don't get it this year it will be there next year, but most likely from another team. It's very risky though...

I am hopeful he will be extended, but am a little concerned that it has taken this long. LE was interviewed a couple weeks ago and said they were close, but I haven't heard a thing since. I have confidence in Russ and the boys and believe they will work out a deal to satisfy both parties...

I think it was Jawarski that made that same point last night and it's a valid one. I really don't know if there is a right or wrong theory. If your star player gets hurt in pre-season the coach looks terrible for playing him. If your start player gets hurt early in the regular season, people will point to the fact that he didn't play a down in the pre-season, and that contributed to the injury. There is no right answer, you risk injury whether is pre-season, regular season, or practice. Since the Bills are a young team with a new OC, I would like to see the starters get more reps.

LT sat out yet again in a pre-season game, I think it's like 13 pre-season games in a row or something in which he did not play. I don't think there was one Charger fan that disagreed. Now he may be an exception to the rule, but how much dress rehearsal do you really need. If there was little or no money to be made for pre-season football by the NFL, there would be maybe 2 pre-season games at the most...

Might be a little unfair to lump this one in with the others. I think if this was a regular season game, he would be in there. But since it's pre-season, why rush it. What does concern me is the collision between ML and TE that caused this bruise. Who ran the wrong direction? In one of the pre-season games TE did a play action fake with ML no where near the ball. Is ML running the wrong plays or TE's? That's something that hopefully will be corrected and concerns me more than TE sitting out a pre-season game.
