  1. Ok, out of curiosity I'll check the play by play designed runs and throw out the first half: 3rd Qtr Jax first drive 1-10-JAC 26 (14:51) 28-F.Taylor up the middle to JAC 34 for 8 yards (56-K.Ellison). 2-2-JAC 34 (14:23) 28-F.Taylor up the middle to JAC 36 for 2 yards (59-K.Mitchell). 2-1-JAC 45 (13:03) 32-M.Jones-Drew up the middle to JAC 45 for no gain (20-D.Whitner). 1-10-BUF 19 (11:36) 28-F.Taylor up the middle to BUF 19 for no gain (20-D.Whitner). 1-5-BUF 5 (10:14) 32-M.Jones-Drew up the middle to BUF 2 for 3 yards (90-C.Kelsay). 2-2-BUF 2 (9:35) 32-M.Jones-Drew up the middle for 2 yards, TOUCHDOWN. Jax came out after the half and put together a ver nice drive. Taylor averaged 3.3 per carry and MJD averaged 1.5 with a TD. 3rd Qtr 2nd Jax drive 1-10-JAC 39 (9:30) 28-F.Taylor right end to BUF 48 for 13 yards (20-D.Whitner). 1-10-BUF 48 (8:46) 28-F.Taylor up the middle to BUF 36 for 12 yards (24-T.McGee). 1-10-BUF 36 (8:10) 32-M.Jones-Drew up the middle to BUF 32 for 4 yards (95-K.Williams). 2-6-BUF 32 (7:33) 32-M.Jones-Drew left end to BUF 33 for -1 yards (33-J.Greer; 95-K.Williams). By far FT's best runs of the game 2 rushes for 25 yards, good thing they didn't use him more on this drive. FT 2 rushes for 25 yards, MJD 2 rushes for 3 yards. 3rd Qtr 3rd Jax drive 1-10-BUF 36 (3:35) 28-F.Taylor up the middle to BUF 35 for 1 yard (24-T.McGee). 3-1-BUF 27 (2:26) 32-M.Jones-Drew up the middle to BUF 27 for no gain (43-B.Scott). JJ32 Shaken up on the play. Only 2 attempted runs, both shut down. 4th Qtr 4th Jax drive 1-10-JAC 22 (10:05) 28-F.Taylor left end to JAC 25 for 3 yards (94-A.Schobel). 2-7-JAC 25 (9:22) 28-F.Taylor up the middle to JAC 28 for 3 yards (95-K.Williams). FT 2 rushes for 6 yards. 4th Qtr 5th Jax drive No rushing attempts 4th Qtr 6th Jax drive No rushing attempts So I will agree that the first 2 drives after the half were the Jags most successful. They must have found something at half and exposed it. Looks like it took the Bills 2 drives to figure out what they were doing. Personally I think the Bills made a running team throw the ball more than they wanted to by, for the most part, shutting down the run...
  2. F. Taylor 14 49 0 (3.5 ypc) M. Jones-Drew 7 17 1 (2.4 ypc)
  3. D. Garrard 17/28 165 0 1 F. Taylor 14 49 0 M. Jones-Drew 7 17 1 - rush M. Jones-Drew 3 25 0 - rec leading receiver M. Jones 5 50 0 If you would have asked me if I would have taken these stats from the Jags top players previous to the game, I would have said Hell yeah....
  4. Ok, my bad! But nothing comes easy in the red zone, and maybe a fade route would have come next if the first pass didn't work. It was just refreshing to capitalize on good drives with 6 instead of 3. On a side note...I thought the 2nd down roll out play to DS very late in the 4th was just a brilliant call and one our former OC would never had though of. The old Bills were run, run, run, punt late in the 4th. This new OC has a finish them off mentality, which is what they need!!!
  5. A very good point! Fred Jackson and ML slipped a bunch of tackles as well. I don't think you can easily dismiss the heat and sweat factor, although a couple missed tackles were just lazy arm tackle attempts. All these "we won, but..." whiners are just waiting for that first loss. They are just disappointed they will have wait and change their "I told you Buffalo would lose to Jax" post to something else now. If you can't be happy with 2-0, there isn't much you can do. These will be the same idiots that hopefully will one day be posting "the Bills won the SB, but....".....GO BILLS!!!
  6. Yes, because throwing the ball where only a Bills player has a chance to catch it is disappointing! Give me a break, it was a perfect play. If I had to criticize something it would be that it was too close to out of bounds, but other than that it was perfect. That ball was fired out there and Hardy made a great snag, that was not an easy catch. Disappointing is a word I can't even imagine using after watching that play...
  7. There are some very good 0-2 teams out there, such as Jax, SD, Minn. It's only week 2, being 0-2 does not mean you're a bad team. I know you don't like being happy VA, but I think there is very good reason to feel good about this Bills team. The Bills beat a very good team on the road and didn't play their A game. Last year the Bills would have had to play a perfect game to beat the Jags on the road, which they didn't, and a couple mistakes buried them. Yes, the Jags had 3 reserves on the O-line, but their defense was healthy. So you can sulk this week, but I will enjoy it and look forward to next week. GO BILLS!!!!!
  8. You mean you haven't read any of the "we won, but" posts? I have seem a lot of them, such as TE's looked awful for the most part, special teams saved the day, the D let up too many long runs, Hardy's a bust because he didn't have any catches, What the hell is all the fuss about the Oline, we have no class A RB. There still out there in full force, they just aren't starting any topics. Trust me, if the Bills don't win this week, they'll be back in full force...
  9. Anyone see this on yahoo: The absurdly premature playoff picture Week One Great comment...."And Seattle ... well, I had to include someone from the NFC West, even if that someone just got ghetto-stomped by the Bills."

  11. Sounds like two buddy's joking with each other, nothing big IMO....GO BILLS!!!!
  12. I agree, Metz could block and catch. I would love for Royal to assume that same role. I was never a big Riemersma fan. Royal is never going to be a 80 catch TE, but he could easily reach 50. I really believe he has the hands and talent to reach 50, he just needs his number called more...
  13. Oh well that answer is simple, he is a very good blocking TE and was never used as a feature TE. The Redskins drafted Cooley in 2004 and used him in passing situations...
  14. I don't believe Royal's issue ever was dropped passes, he has decent hands. We are so quick to defend our QB's by saying we had a bone headed OC in Fairchild, but it never applies to anyone else. Isn't is fair to say that by having a better OC and running a less predictable offense that every offensive player should benefit?
  15. Thought it would take a little longer for Culpepper to be brought out of retirement, but this should do it!!!
  16. How embarrassing for the Seattle specials team coach...Who is this Bruce DeHaven guy anyway???
  17. Yes, this is from the buffalo news: Another clever scheme results in another third-quarter sack. The Bills feature their “Sugar Rush,” which is four defensive ends — Schobel, Ryan Denney, Kelsay and Copeland Bryan — up front. The four guys are in a stand-up position just off the line of scrimmage. On the snap, Posluszny and Mitchell join the pass rush, blitzing off the side of the formation. Seattle RT Ray Willis focuses on Mitchell, but that leaves Bryan unaccounted for. Bryan has a clean shot at Hasselbeck. Bryan can’t wrap Hasselbeck up, but Denney comes free up the middle to bring him down.
