  1. Not that I saw. Only a brief recap of what the patients said to him while undercover. I missed the beginning, so I don't know if those questions were answered. I am sure there is more to the story, you can never believe everything you hear. I would love to see a rebuttal from someone supporting the Canadian system...
  2. Without reading a single post (I am hoping to watch without knowing the outcome), I would like to thank you for the discreet title. I remember last year someone posted "Peter Eastgate wins WSOP", I was like son of a b!tch!!!
  3. Fox News had an undercover report on Canadian health care yesterday. Let me preface this by saying I just caught the follow up questions with the undercover reported, But missed the actual patients commentary as well as where in Canada it was filmed. The following is what the undercover reporter stated, he went to several different emergency rooms and talked to people waiting, found the typical wait time was 7-9 hours. He did say the clinical/family care doctors were a lot faster, but he couldn't enter any of those facilities unless his primary doctor was there. He could join a waiting list for a clinical/family doctor, the average wait time was 2-3 years. He mentioned one person he interviewed had a serious circulation problem and needed to see a specialist asap. The wait time was 1 year and that person ended up losing both legs. He also metioned a relative that had to wait too long to see an eye specialist and ended up losing vision in one eye. That's about all I caught, as I said I just saw the end of the piece. But it sounds pretty bad. I'll take a look at their website and will post if I find it...
  4. That's the trip I want to take right there. What are the good hotels around the arena? And FWIW...the winter classic will be Boston vs Philly at Fenway.
  5. The winters do end, but some definitely do seem longer than others. But weeks without sun? That's a ridiculous comment! When exactly does this happen? It's so freaken sunny in the winter you can't even see with it reflecting off the snow. It baffles me that so many out of towners say this? Everywhere you go you'll hear negative comments from some people. I am sure there are a few folks in Orlando that are negative and say the "same crap" every day. It baffles me that everyone that leaves think they are so much better than everyone else, when in fact they were the negative ones saying the same crap before they left! And probably continue to say it... Can't argue with that, but the new boss will make it so every City is like that in good time. Another ridiculous statement! Where do you get that from? The most well known name to run for office in quite some time was Joe Mesi this past year, and he lost. I don't understand that comment at all. This is very true. I don't agree with a lot of your statements or most other out of towners for that fact. And this is not just directed at you, flomoe. But those who left miss us, we don't miss you. You would never come back, that's fine, we don't want you back. You moved for your reasons, I stayed for my reasons. Just don't think you're so much better than the people that stayed...
  6. I was wondering when the "when are the Bills going to sign draft pick _______ " were going to start. It's already mid July and this is the first I've seen, where are all the panicking posters, game on!
  7. Would you watch replacement players?, Its still football right? If you watched it the last time around, you would know it was horrible, barely watchable, amateur football. The Bills were whipped in the first game 47-6 by Gary Hogeboom and the Indianapolis Colts at Rick Stadium. The next game was closer, but still a loss. In the 3rd game, rookie's Leon "Dr. Sack" Seals, Keith McKeller, and Rob Riddick crossed the line to help the Bills defeat Lawrence Taylor and the Giants 6-3 on a Tim Schlopy OT FG with 19 seconds left. Their were a combined 9 turnovers, 7 by the Bills, in that game. Brutal football!
  8. You thinking of the Hippodrome on Main St? I used to play pool there all the time years and years ago, I think it's still open.
  9. This was posted before, but not many replies.. IMO, It really doesn't look too good. But if it were me, I would definitely press charges. Then most likely drop them after settling out of court for big bucks! The movie really doesn't look like it has any football action, so I wouldn't call it a football movie. I do think it's funny that Patton Oswald has pretty much the same job as he had on King of Queens though...
  10. So tbd, should be spelled TBD...got it! Just having a little fun dude, nothing personal. I am not an active member of the grammar police, but couldn't resist...
  11. I agree! TE was a different QB after coming back from the concussion. It's a shame, he had a nice start to the season. Watch film on Favre! he's pretty much running the opposite direction of the rush after he throws the ball. He took some hits early in his career, but learned how to avoid them in order to extend his career!
  12. You gotta love "Game"rooster fans!!! The shirt in my avatar actually has Jauron in small print, it was from the hottest Bills fan contest...
  13. The salty tbd guys correct spelling errors....
  14. I think he's a beer man....BREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWS!!!
  15. I absolutely do not think that Moss was a "making the pieces fit" player, and I am not looking for your help. Randy Moss is a great receiver who played for a bad team with bad QB's in Oakland. The Patriots, a good team with a great QB, picked him up and he put up incredible numbers as he did when he was with Minnesota, another good team with a good QB. So picking up Moss wasn't really a risky proposition for the Patsie's, he's always been a team player on good teams. As far as Seau, I don't know if anyone else tried to pick him up. I don't have that kind of inside information. But if it were me toward the end of my career, I would pick a team favored to win the SB over any other team. He was passed his prime with NE, but he was a great player in years past with a wealth of experience. He was like a coach on the field and big help to the NE Defense. Again, IMO he's was not a "making the pieces fit" player. With his experience and talent, he could play for any team in any system. There are many better examples of "making the pieces fit" players on those Patsie teams. I just don't believe these 2 are in that category. No offense man, don't take everything so personally...
  16. You know what would really be funny, TO and Hitler. Now that would be a classic!
  17. Yeah, unfortunately I am well aware of that. But just looking at the line and no other circumstances, it gives me some hope! Factoring in coaching and, well, no so much.... Junior Seau and Randy Moss may not be the best examples of "making the pieces fit", but there are many others for sure.
  18. I believe that's the basis of his lawsuit....
  19. Does the O-line need experience to win in the NFL? I guess that's the big big question. I dug up some stats on the Patsie's to compare: In 2000, NE's starting line was: LT Bruce Armstrong - yrs experience 13 LG Joe Andruzzi - yrs experience 2 C Damien Woody - yrs experience 1 RG Sale Isaia - yrs experience 4 RT Grant Williams - yrs experience 4 They were 5 - 11. A young line anchored by a 13 year vet, obviously not a good season. In 2001 LT Matt Light - rookie LG Mike Compton - yrs experience 8 C Damien Woody - yrs experience 2 RG Joe Andruzzi - yrs experience 3 RT Greg Randall - yrs experience 1 11 - 5 and won the SB (B@st@rds!!!). That was a pretty young line with only 2 starters returning from the previous year and one changing positions. 2002 LT Matt Light - yrs experience 1 LG Mike Compton - yrs experience 9 C Damien Woody - yrs experience 3 RG Joe Andruzzi - yrs experience 4 RT Kenyatta Jones - yrs experience 1 9- 7 won division 2003 LT Matt Light - yrs experience 2 LG Damien Woody - yrs experience 4 C Dan Koppen - Rookie RG Joe Andruzzi - yrs experience 5 RT Tom Ashworth - yrs experience 1 14-2 won SB (B@st@rds!) Another young line, although 3 returning starters with one changing positions. 2004 LT Matt Light - yrs experience 3 LG Joe Andruzzi - yrs experience 6 C Dan Koppen - yrs experience 1 RG Steve Neal - yrs experience 2 RT Brandon Gorin - yrs experience 1 14-2 won SB (B@st@rds!). 3 returning starters with one changing positions and still very young. 2005 LT Nick Kaczur - Rookie LG Longan Mankins - Rookie C Dan Koppen - yrs experience 2 RG Steve Neal - yrs experience 3 RT Tom Ashworth - yrs experience 3 10-6 won division. 2 Rookies in the line up, this was a very young line, but they won 10 games! That's about all I can stomach at the moment, but you get the idea. NE has been very successful with non experienced lines. Obviously it helps to have Brady, but they still needed to block for him. Do I think Buffalo can be successful? I really don't know unfortunately, this year will be tough IMO. But anything can happen and I like the drafted O-lineman, so I am being cautiously optimistic going into this season. GO BILLS!!!
  20. Just like when the NFL owners signed the CBA....
  21. $11.5M for 3 years...where's that overrated thread?
  22. Steve Montador signs with Buffalo 2 year/$3.1M contract. Link to other signings Not a bad start, hopefully more to follow...
  23. Yes, hopefully! I know they are trying to entice Verizon and another company who's name escapes me at the moment (I'll have to look it up) with the same type of Yahoo deal. Hey 75-125 jobs starting at $65,000 is nice deal for this area...
  24. Exactly! And how is calling someone "a very good, productive receiver" overrating them? I have never heard Moulds name come up in elite receiver conversation, He wasn't great, but he was a very good receiver. Very odd that he makes the list. Unless they are referring to free agent overrated signings, but then the list would have to include Peerless Price.
