  1. ha ha....You said do do.... I know it's rediculous, but it makes me laugh alot....
  2. Attended a Guess Who concert last year, great show...
  3. Sorry, but the shot is 10 feet from the hole if it doesn't hit the ball. A good shot, yes. But with a lucky bounce, a great shot. I know I can't get the ball to spin like that, I would consider it skill. An average golfer getting a hole in one is probably more luck, but I have to give credit to a pro...
  4. Probably painful playing billiards with that type of injury...
  5. I would consider it more of a slow painful death...
  6. Don't think I've ever seen anyone tee off and then mark his/her ball before the next tee shot. Although it might be an option, but would take about an hour for a 4 some on a par 3... As far as greatest hole-in-one ever, I wouldn't go that far. Maybe luckiest or most fortunate, but still pretty cool...
  7. Queue the "I had this injury in high school and yada, yada, yada....missed the whole season" posts...
  8. A nice little video from the Buffalonews... Farewell Old Friend
  9. I'm confused. Are we supposed to count the number of spelling and grammar errors or something?
  10. As long as the P stands for piece's....I agree....
  11. Even though the link doesn't work, most here should be familiar with story as it was well documented when he was a Bill. A good guy and very good long snapper, he should be around for a while...
  12. you may be right, he just might tear it up for Vegas!!!
  13. Or they may just be people who want to learn. They are not necessarily buying "the next sure thing," but rather people with a few extra bucks looking to invest and learn the ropes. You do have to start somewhere, and who the heck really cares what the definition of "regular folk" is anyway?
  14. Exactly! Which is why I really only asked for a trust worthy site in which to invest. If the stock does end up tanking, I'd rather lose to the market than to a hacker....
  15. Thanks, I appreciate your input. I am not looking for a get rich quick stock (although I'd take it), I would be in it for the long haul. I'm only looking to invest around 7 or 8 hundred bucks, nothing that's going to break the bank. Just something to get me started in investing and see what happens. And this is a stock that hasn't done much lately, but I think it has potential...
  16. First of all, I am not a big stock market player. I only own some shares of the company for which I work. And my wife and I have some stock through her broker, but he charges quite a bit for a transaction. Anyway, I have an itch to jump on some stock that I have been following lately. It's up $2 in the past couple days, so I need to get the ball rolling. I checked out scottrade and etrade, but am not sure which, if any, would be better. There are a lot of sites out there, but a lot of them sound pretty much the same. Does anyone have any suggestions for trading sites? I am sure there are a few on-line traders on this board. Much appreciated, Thanks!
  17. It's definitely not stupidity. I have heard very few nightmare experiences with Expedia and you usually can get a better rate through them than the hotel itself. So, don't kick yourself over it. Just call Expedia back and demand to talk to a manager and not a first level support person to sort the whole thing out....
  18. I agree, but we are in the minority. I don't think anything as creepy and disgusting as this should be publicized. But obviously there is no stopping it, as it's all over the internet and news. So that's why I was surprised at the delay of the post on this board...
  19. And to respond to this post every year, I have to put my hatred for the Patsie's aside and look at it realistically. And unfortunately by doing that, as much as I hate to say it, I come to the realization that the Patsie's will be very good again and the team to beat in the AFC...
  20. There are supposed to be a bunch of viruses attached to these links, so be careful. Also, I can't believe this is the first post regarding this incident. I heard it early this morning and figured there would be multiple posts, maybe it's on the stadium wall, haven't looked there... Link Great line from the link -- "We doubt that will stem the masses from searching, but nevertheless: To all the perverts — you have been warned."
  21. Very nice post. I agree with just about everything, except the "chicken little" comment. As you can tell from this thread, there are a few "chicken little's" or "the sky is falling" posters, but the majority are more positive, or at least require facts or a legitimate source before making assumptions. So I really have a hard time when people let the negative posters or negative attitudes of some determine the mind set of Buffalo as a whole. I am usually one of the more positive posters, or maybe it's just blind optimism, but at any rate the majority of Buffalonians are not chicken little's. The chicken little's may be a bit louder and stand out a bit more, but there are people like that everywhere. And actually most of the chicken little's and sky is falling people have left they area, yet they still continue to bash Buffalo on a regular basis. Ok, I am done with my rant. Again, nice post minus one sentence...GO BILLS!!!! GO BUFFALO!!!!
  22. woohoo...that means I can put them away in the drawer for almost two months even faster!!
  23. Actually went there last night, my friend is staying there. Very nice suite and good view of the city (at least from the 7th floor), and it's right in the heart of downtown.
  24. I believe we need to wait until the week of to really seriously discuss this? As it stands now with about 80 guys on each roster, I'd give the Bills the edge because they are home. But there will be several factors, injuries being the main one, that will have an impact on this game and it's just too early to tell. I know it's July and everyone is itching to get going, but now is not the time to logically debate a week 2 game... GO BILLS!!!
