  1. Just saying that Dallas fan is posting the same exact thing on their fan boards regarding TO missing games.
  2. PB carried a loaded unregistered weapon into a night club and discharged it. He's very lucky he didn't shoot someone else or he'd be done for sure. That's a pretty serious offense and because it happened in NY, he should feel somewhat lucky to only do 20 months.
  3. Lol, sucks to be them! Could you imagine if the Bills had a big off season acquisition that was sitting out multiple pre-season games due to injury...
  4. Exactly, you now have to put a player on waivers before you can trade said player. If he clears waivers, you can trade him. If he is claimed, you can rescind the waiver transaction and reclaim that player or just let him go with no compensation, which is what the Blue Jays did with Rios...
  5. Kind of like this thread, he just won't go away...
  6. And you should know more than anyone...Mr. Obvious...
  7. The article is from July 30th, so it's a very early analysis. That being said, I would have ranked them near the bottom of the league knowing that no starter was returning to their previous position and 2 rookies were slated to start. He's not really going out on a limb as far as pre pre-season rankings go...
  8. Agreed, a WR can come into the league and make an impact. I'd add Donnie Avery and Dwayne Bowe in that list as well.
  9. I understand this was a jab at the Bills drafting CB's like they're going out of style, but IMO, you can never be too deep at CB. Especially if your pass rush isn't all that great...
  10. The #3 pick should be either: Maurice Jones-Drew, Matt Forte, Michael Turner, Steven Jackson, or LaDainian Tomlinson. Depending on who goes #2, of course the #1 should be AP. What additional pick would you get for trading down to #5?
  11. Here's the top 10... 1. YouTube 2. Google 3. Facebook 4. Sex 5. MySpace 6. Porn 7. Yahoo 8. Michael Jackson 9. Fred (YouTube star) 10. eBay BTW...Kids were more popular than Facebook on #8's computer....
  12. The complete opposite of Rex Ryan's comments: Punches were thrown while tempers flared at a rough and tumble practice at Jets training camp Monday. And coach Rex Ryan couldn't have been more pleased. "Hey, we had a little rock 'em, sock 'em robots out there," Ryan said with a grin. Obviously, Ryan doesn't want his players brawling on a regular basis, but he recently told them the "rules of engagement" for fighting. "People go in there and break up fights, but there's an art to doing it," Ryan said, adding that offensive players need to pull off defensive players, and vice versa. "The reason you do that is because your buddy can get another shot in on somebody," Ryan said, smiling. "You don't want to pull off your guy and he gets hit. I mean, that's just the way it is."
  13. Who's not disgusted by Little, Stallworth, and Marshall's actions? Not sure which "people" you are referring to? Those particular players haven't been rumored to be coming to the Bills, unlike Vick, so it hasn't been prominently discussed here. Doesn't mean it's acceptable behavior..
  14. You must not remember that too well, it was worse to this point. But if Ronnie stays un-singed much longer it will indeed surpass that insanity....
  15. I work with a guy who forwarded me this rubish: "One of the guys I work with has an indirect connection to Turk Shoenert's son, and apparently Vick is in Buffalo and is going to sign here tomorrow. It could be a joke, but with Russ Brandon running things, who knows what he would do to put on a show." I hope this crap ends soon, not quite as bad as the Cutler rumors, but quickly approaching it.....
  16. I think we guessed right because Buffalo listed as one of the fastest dying cities was posted here not too long ago. Although I still consider it more of a slow painful death...
  17. If she replied to you right away, I would assume she had a laptop or blackberry or something and would have known the time. The no clock thing is a lame excuse. My guess is she forgot or double booked...
  18. 66 pages and this thread is still rated G.... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . AY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. In Amherst, Average Joe's has a back room and WiFi. We had our baseball draft there a few years back. But IIRC their connections were limited at that time, not sure about now. May have to check on that. If not, it's a good place for a draft...
  20. And here's your answer: "One BIG note: Food Network is a family network. We are going to be talking a lot about community and family fun at tailgating."
  21. Ok, then I wouldn't stay around OP after the game. Although Rhino's may be worth a try, not sure though. I would probably head to Buffalo. There are 4 or 5 bars around the Allen and Elmwood area that are pretty good, but not sure about the Sunday night crowd. There are a couple places around Chippewa that used to be prety good, but I haven't been there in a while... I'll ask around and IM you with more information....
