  1. Damn you dib! It's read a word, look to the left, read another word, look to the left...takes forever to read your posts! Anyway, I have heard the nickname, Went Backwards, used for our QB. Hopefully, it's not the case...
  2. #1 -- There are only a few teams in the league that fit that category, but the Bills are certainly not one of them. #2 -- They do play hard for Jauron, and they do like and respect him. The problem is the talent is thin and the coaching is weak. But playing hard has never been the issue. That's why they played their hearts out the last game of the season, in a meaningless game for them, against Denver. I have never questioned that... #3 -- DJ is not a great coach, this has been covered numerous times. #4 -- That comes with talent and depth. This is the NFL, that rah rah stuff may work in high school, but talent will prevail in the end. #5 -- "I think we all know what the Bills lack, my opinion" -- We all do know what the Bills lack, but everyone's list will be slightly different... GO BILLS!!!!
  3. It's a good week for him to test the ankle. He won't get touched by Bills the non-existent pass rush.
  4. That's the scary part, this offense looks exactly the same as last year...
  5. This is interesting. Does anyone recall when the "no huddle" concept with the Bills began? Did it start before or after the TO signing? The reason I am interested is because TO likes to come back to the huddle and let the QB know what's going on during his routes. he tells them what routes will work and probably tells them to throw him the ball more. I can't help but wonder if the no huddle concept was derived to prevent TO from giving Trent and earful in the huddle. I really hope not and it probably wouldn't even of crossed my mind if not for this over protective coaching staff. I remember after the HOF game a reporter asked TO what he thought of the no huddle and he said "It's alright I guess, it is what it is", that may not be the exact quote, but it's pretty close. I don't think he likes that fact he can't talk to his QB between plays. Anyway, I hate having these thoughts because of this damn coaching staff!!!
  6. Um, HELL NO!!!! And obviously it's pure speculation on my part, I do not have SKOOBY's sources. But you listen to your coach and I think Trent's doing what he's told.
  7. If Sully's boss came to him and told him not to write anything derogatory about Trent, if he valued his job he wouldn't. My gut tells me DJ and the boys are telling Trent not to take chances and play it safe with more checkdowns. Trent value's his job, so he listens. Not saying I agree, but I think Trent is handcuffed to certain extent. Sully's boss gives him free reign and he writes better articles because of it. If Trent's boss gave him more freedom, maybe he'd be a little more aggressive. But we will never know with the current staff...
  8. Pretty simple. If he has a good year they re-sign him, if not they resign him...
  9. I love all these "I know it's preseason, but" posts....Brilliant...
  10. Actually I think he's calling out the coaches, not Evans. He's basically saying he is doing what he is told, which is pretty much unless your very sure of the throw, check down. It's the play it safe coaching staff, nothing new here...
  11. Yeah, I thought the last part was lame, but Trentative was actaully pretty good...
  12. That's actaully a big issue, this team really has no identity. On a side not WGR has nicknames Edwards, "Trentative"...
  13. Has he even played? Seriously, I honestly can't remember his name being called or even noticing him on the field. If he has, that's definitely not a good thing...
  14. Whether he looked good in red, white, and blue or not, that would probably be the Bills philosophy...
  15. Dude, how many different newspapers do you read in a day?
  16. Harris has looked good. But the Bills will bring him along slowly, just because it's a new position for him. He has natural ability and is a ball hawk, but has to learn the position and eliminate the mental errors. Harris is a key part of the best 3rd stringers in the league. I am convinced our 3rd string could go toe to toe with anyone in the NFL...GO BILLS!!!!
  17. Pre-season game #1 Edwards average Ftizpatrick awful The next weeks worth of posts here were bashing Fitzpatrick. He shouldn't be on the team, terrible signing, horrible QB, no arm strength...yada, yada, yada... Pre-season game #2 Edwards good game Ftizpatrick average game The next weeks worth of posts were Edwards looked good. Fitzpatrick looked good. We have a good QB and a good backup... Pre-season game #3 Edwards awful game Fitzpatrick good game And we now get I know it's pre-season, but Edwards is terrible and Fitzpatrick should start.. Stay tuned for pre-season game #4 folks, you just never know....
  18. Sure, I'll do it. It wasn't that Maybin was holding out for more money. It was reported that the delay was do to Maybin's agent Making Vick's contract negotiations his #1 priority and therefore having no time for Maybin. If it were me, I would have fired my agent...
  19. It will most likely cause confusion on the defense as well, a lot of missed assignments and breakdowns. Otherwise I think we would have seen more teams do this in the past. But we shall see...
  20. I think he just means the *Patriots as an organization are a bunch of cheaters, has nothing to do with the formations. But regarding the original question posed, wouldn't a 3/4 be more effective against a no-huddle attack? I would think you would want less fat guys up front and more linebackers...
