  1. You know I actually heard the piece and didn't even think anything of it, but he obviously did not say it intentionally. I guess I've been out of high school too many years. Kind of blows...
  2. Safeties yes, but Linebackers? I think Ray Lewis and Brian Urlacher would disagree. And the post implies the Bills first Offensive play anyway, which will be a FJ run btw...
  3. Not a movie, but John Lithgow is the "Trinity Killer" this season on Dexter and his killing ritual is about as creepy as it gets...
  4. No, the point is DJ is wrong no matter what he does...
  5. You're a glass is half full kind of girl, aren't ya....
  6. Ding, Ding, Ding, the real winner. The O was brutal and had they converted, it most likely would have resulted in a 4th and longer punt 3 plays later. Maybe DJ thought they had a better chance of getting a turnover than the O moving the ball consistently...
  7. I am really not sure how you are using them, but the Bills are definitely not taking advantage of 2 very good WR's. After the first half of that game I was baffled that they didn't target them often. I expected things to change in the second half, but they didn't. It didn't look like the Bills offensive plan had any kind of direction what so ever. I think AVP learned a lot from this game and expect things will change. He is a sharp football guy, but is going to experience some growing pains...
  8. Sully has a big time vendetta for TO, as do many others, big deal. I really don't care about TO's press conferences, but I am concerned with 0 catches! As well as him and LE being targeted so little. Who gives a rats a$$ if he plays nice with the media...
  9. Very well said! I agree completely. i get the feeling that most members of the media are just waiting for TO to screw up, so they can print the "I told you so article" that they already have 3/4 written. It's comical when JS gets put on the spot and can't come up with any logical response though...
  10. Even better was listening to Sullivan argue with H Simon and J white on WGR regarding this article. Sullivan plays the part of a typical reported that was burnt by TO and now spins everything he says in spite. It's 15 minutes, but well worth the listen... Link
  11. From a fan stand point, they wanted VY more (since he played a Texas). From a team stand point, it was probably Bush v Williams. But this is a fan board, which is why we keep hearing "Waaa Waaa Waaa, we should have drafted so and so" two games into the freakin season!
  12. Kind of reminds me of how bad the Texans messed up when the drafted M Williams instead of V Young...
  13. Using the same "calling card" logic with Yogi Berra quotes: A nickel ain't worth a nickel anymore. Baseball is ninety percent mental and 10% physical. He hits from both sides of the plate. He's ambidextrous. I said all of the things I said. If you come to a fork in the road, take a right of left. It's like deja-vu... No sir, I don't like it....
  14. Wouldn't have been a TD, he would have gone out of bounds. But a beautiful pass none the less. That's what you get with TO, he's going to drop some balls, but he's also going to make some big time plays. I Completely Agree! The crowds reaction every time there was a long ball to TO was incredible. And on the catch, the place just went bonkers. It was an awesome feeling in the stadium...
  15. Gotta love the gamblers logic... Well, I need SD's Defense to produce 2 points to win my fanyasy game this week. So take the Raiders big...
  16. If they mix in a hurry-up offense, which we saw a little of in the HOF game, with the no-huddle, I think it has a better chance of being successful. A straight no-huddle, which the starters displayed the last 4 games of the pre-season, is useless...
  17. Actually you need to be more specific, when does the 1 win come into play? Because if the Bills go 1-0, they might extend DJ's contract immediately.
  18. On Inside the NFL they had a list of coaches available such as Billick, Shanahan and Holmgren, and they were talking about coaches not all getting the big money in recent years. To which Bill Cowher commented on how it's not about the money for these guys, it's about going to an organization that is committed to winning and going after a Super Bowl. sadly, I am not sure a big name coach would feel confident that the Bills are indeed committed to winning. So even if Ralph opened his pockets, there's no guarantee a "big name" coach would take the position.
  19. Billy's probably just trying to get even with DJ for tanking the pre-season offense in an attempt to dupe the Patsie's...
  20. That's only if they are unable to trade him....
