  1. Now that's funny, the Bills only won because they knew the game plan. I guess the Patsie's didn't know anything about the Bills defensive plan and that was the difference. Classic!
  2. It's really easy people, no need for all these should we lose threads! I always root for the Bills to win, heck I was hooting and hollering during a boring KC game last week. The only difference is, if the Bills lose, it's no big deal. You don't get mad or upset because in the long run it may be better for them. Picking in the top 10 doesn't guarantee anything, you still need a competent front office. Look at the Steelers past 10 first round picks and you'll get an all-star lineup. I haven't done the research, but I know most of those were not top 10 picks. Now GO BILLS, beat them damn Patsie's!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Watched it last night...Holy crap, holy crap, holy crap...I had read this thread, so I knew there was a jaw dropping ending and still didn't expect that! That was one great "edge of your seat" episode. What is dex going to do? Damn, I want the next season to start now...
  4. This really shouldn't be shocking to anyone. All the draft "experts", fans, Bills Brass, and even casual observers stated that Maybin is a project. He didn't play much college football and would need a couple years to be ready in the NFL. He was not slated to be an immediate impact player, therefore he cannot be proclaimed a bust at this point and time. Fewell did not say anything surprising, the bottom line is he is not good enough to be on the field the whole game at this point in his career. I don't agree with drafting a project when your team hasn't been to the playoffs in 10 years, I would want an immediate impact player personally, but that's what they did. Basically it's just another in a long line of front office blunders over the past years, it may work out in the long run, but this team needs a GM desperately!
  5. Benn is out for tonights game (link), that's a big loss, but they still should have enough to get by a young UB squad.
  6. The medical marijuana distribution field is popular college choice...Congrats to your son!
  7. Not really, it's pretty original IMO. I wouldn't call them scheps either, looks like they make a good buck, I guess it depends on your definition. And really only the one has a real hot wife, the other is average, but she gets extra points for her love of football! And the dude with a hot wife still gets caught checking out other hot chicks. Very funny show, definitely geared toward dudes, I have laughed my a$$ off in all but one episode so far. The other one was still funny, but just not as good as the others...
  8. The area around city hall does need a good cleaning, other than that I can't see another reason to bring him back...
  9. And poise! I am so sick of hearing that word, seems like it's every broadcasters favorite word lately....
  10. Throw in Fantasy Football and you have "The League", which is pretty funny IMO...But I am going to give this one a try as well...
  11. This portion of your post, should pretty much answer your questions in the latter part of your post...
  12. Woops, thought it said lapdance. I cannot assist on this topic...
  13. Did they really need to show the replay of the shot a dozen times in slow motion?
  14. I don't think there's been an "ovefblown sense of optimism" on this board since the 5-1 start last year. For the most part it's been down right negative. And what difference does it make to you if there are some out there that may be overly optimistic, why do you take it personally?
  15. I am hoping Buffalo moves to a 3-4 defense next year and puts Maybin outside as a stand up rusher/LB. I really think he can be more effective in that position. Pretty much like they are using Orakpo in Washington. But everyone knew he was going to be a project from his limited playing time in college, so I really don't know why everyone is up in arms over his ineffectiveness in his first season. I am not defending the Bills drafting him, I would have preferred Orakpo. All I am saying is the drafted him as a project and projects do not yield immediate returns.
  16. I agree! If the Bills still have the same bunch of incompetent scouts and talent evaluators around for this years draft, then what difference does it make? The Bills need a quality GM and talent evaluators. Then it doesn't matter where you pick in the draft, see the Steelers last 10 draft picks for example and they are not picking in the top 10 every year!
  17. Rivas is an absolute stud and will be for years to come!
  18. I am not sure why you mention the game should have been a blowout (which I agree with) in a "Fitz looked pretty bad last night" post, but the bottom line is Fitz is not a very good QB. he's a decent backup, but there's no way he's a starter. Unfortunately, the only other choice on the Bills roster is a third stringer and a practice squad player. Pick your poison.
  19. I believe that's true with just about every team that makes it to the SB, health helps. I don't know if it's bad luck or bad conditioning, but I would definitely bring in a new strength and conditionin coach to make sure it's not the latter...
  20. It would be for a college team if he were to be HC anywhere other than the Bills next year...
  21. I believe Rogers main intent when signing the contract was to eventually obtain more games per season or move the team to TO. But now that Rogers has passed and the experiment so far has been a bust, I don't see it happening any time soon.
