  1. Exactly what I was thinking. The episode wasn't very good, but maybe I feel that way because it was so out of place. This should have been maybe the first episode this season or something. But for it to be one of the last was just disappointing. Half way through the episode I was saying it sucked, but I'll associate this episode of Lost with LeBron's quote after his horrible game on Tuesday "I spoil a lot of people with my play, when you have a bad game here or there, you've had three bad games in a seven-year career, then it's easy to point that out. So you got to be better." Only a few bad episodes in the entire Lost series, but with only a few episodes left, it needs to be better!!
  2. Who knows...Jack did not want to get on that sub and wouldn't have had Kate not been shot. Flocke or Widmore would be my top suspects, we'll find out more next week.
  3. you could feel he was slowly returning to his normal self and i agree, great acting! I thought it was odd that Flocke walks right towards the guys with guns that were guarding the plane and then ducks for cover when they were ready to head for the sub. That was pretty much a give away that he was up to no good. I believe he is that one that shot Kate so Jack would get on the sub. Buffalo boy bites the dust. Some people were really starting to think that he was a very important character. Good thing sideway Locke has his pilots license... That's exactly what I am thinking. I find it very hard to believe that Widmore would keep the power unguarded or at least not protect it to the full extent. That was just way too easy, and of course, Widmore was nowhere to be found. I am thinking Widmore and Locke want the same thing, including the candidates dead, and it's a race as to who gets it first. What they are after is the real question. Good episode and it looks like next weeks episode is going to be very informative....
  4. Do it, 25 and a chance to meet really hot, non hard-core porn, chicks! Just use a fake name like Buck Naked or something.
  5. I worked at OMI around that time, crazy place! Quad night was insane. The owner at the time, Vince, ended up opening Gargoyle's on Virginia Place in Buffalo and I worked there for a bit. Good times...
  6. Sweet, didn't know it was this weekend. I'll be in Dunkirk visiting family, I'll have to check out Fredonia Saturday night!
  7. The Bills are all too familiar with reaching in the first round. This is a can't miss pick, the guy is an absolute stud. The Bills weren't going to make a run at the SB next year no matter who they picked, but this is a guy you can really build your team around. He's the type of playmaker the Bills have not had in a very long time.
  8. Wow, I am shocked at the reaction and I only read a couple pages. Spiller is an absolute stud RB. It was not a "need" pick, but realistically the Bills are a few years from seriously contending and this is a great player to build your team around. He was by far the best RB in the draft and I hope a lot of people archive this thread, because he is going to be a special player! Bottom line is that a team cannot afford to miss in the first round, and we have seen our share of it, but this is a can't miss pick. GO BILLS!
  9. You're definitely not alone in the Jack equals the new Jacob theory, I have heard the numerous times. Not sure if I believe it, but it definitely would not surprise me. I think Jack's realization that Flocke might not want to leave the island with the candidates, but rather just get rid of the candidates, for reasons yet to be known, is spot on. Pretty soon they will all be together on the island in "real" time and in the hospital in the flash sideways, that's when the shat will hit the fin....
  10. I agree, that was a brilliant and gutsy move. And it was indeed a play on Russell's part, he told Tyson he was voting for Parvati hoping that comment would change Tyson's vote. He banked his life in the game that Tyson was an idiot and he was right! That may be the best move in the history of the show right there...
  11. I have a feeling that the first body he's in isn't going to be a factor. But another question is, why can't he change bodies anymore? I don't thing it's been mentioned becasue it's pretty obvious. I would think all the main players will end up at the hospital at some point. Desmond's next stop is probably the police station...
  12. The current Bills roster is not a cold weather team anyway, they look every bit as cold as their opponents late in the year. Just not an advantage anymore. So, I actaully like playing Miami in the opener...
  13. A few random thoughts... I thought it was funny that Sun finally starts to speak English and it's to the one person who actually could have understood her previously! Did Sun have a flashback/sideways flash of the island when she saw Locke in the hospital? Who is Jack's ex-wife? Juliet maybe? Sayid didn't kill Desmond... Sawyers best line was about Lapidus looking like he was out of a Bert Reynolds movie... I've decided not to get to crazy with theories and explanations. I am simply going to let the writers tell me what's going on rather than rack my brain trying to figure everything out. So, I will not be one of the many "I told you so" or "I was right" posters after the finally, but at least my head won't hurt as much!
  14. Channel 4 just did a story on jerseys, here is the link...
  15. I actually thought locke looked exactly like he did when Jacob touched him after being pushed out of the window by his father, but that's just going off memory, as I haven't rewatched any episodes... couple question... What was in the pouch that Hurly took from Ilana's possessions? Was it Jacob's ashes? And why was Ilana handling the dynamite, Richard could have juggled them things and wouldn't have blown himself up...
  16. Cream Ale's are not referred to as screamers until the next morning...
  17. In the preview, Hurley states that all these dead people keep yelling at him and then they show Michael. Can't tell much from previews though, usually all out of sequence...
  18. A few random thoughts... -- Another more questions than answer episode, but I did enjoy it! -- Faraday said someting to perhaps verify that they did cause the other reality by exploding the bomb. -- Des is meeting Penny at a coffee shop, didn't Juliet mention something about coffee before dying? Maybe she will be in the coffee shop as well... -- Desmond wants the flight manifest to show the others on the flight what Charlie and Daniel showed to him, get ready for some fireworks in the coming episodes...
  19. I think it's more of a cap on what the emplyer can give, so that no one looks cheap. CBS isn't shelling out all that cash every episode...
  20. Assuming the Sabres take the division, it's either going to be Pittsburgh or NJ versus Ottawa in the first round. It would be great if it were Pittsburgh, that would be an awesome first round matchup...
  21. yeah, but it shouldn't hurt to much, so an off night now isn't too bad. They need 4 points in their last 5 games to clinch (assuming Ottawa runs the table). If they can't do that, they shouldn't be in the playoffs...
  22. That's cool! I posted the dang thing and forgot to record it ! I'll have to catch the repeat.
  23. http://blogs.buffalonews.com/live/2010/04/...ps-manhunt.html Airs tonight at 10pm "Ralph 'Bucky' Phillips escapes from jail and sets off the most expensive manhunt in New York State history. Bucky leads hundreds of state troopers on a chase through the backwoods of western New York for the better part of five months. An amazing series of lucky and reckless maneuvers allows Bucky to avoid capture. But the case turns uglier when Bucky shoots three state troopers. Captain Steve Nigrelli spearheads the hunt and is determined to nab Philips before more blood is spilled."
