Confirmed road trip...

Yep, last time i went there was before the Bandits championship game a couple years back. It's upscale and pretty nice, the food was excellent. I was very surprised to hear it occurred there. But it's under new ownership now, so I have no idea if anything has changed. From what I understand there were 3 or 4 different private parties going on at the same time. The Buffalo News is reporting that it appears to be a gang related shooting. I saw a picture of the groom who was killed earlier in the evening and one of the guys standing next to him was giving some sort of gang sign with his fingers. So that could very well be the case... As I was watching the first drive, I thought, oh no, they're looking too good. Everyone is going to get too high on these guys and it's only the pre-season. Trent looks good, the line blocking ok with starters out, and the offense is moving the ball. Then a run to the 3 and the all too common flag bringing the play back, followed by a check down on 3rd and long. ah, everything back to normal. And it is only the first pre-season game, so no need to put too much stock in it. But the only thing that really concerns me is the QB position, it's the same as last year. New offense, old offense, doesn't matter when it's the same 2nd string at best QB's. I believe the Bills brass will address it next year and we'll have to suffer through another year of it, but it's still frustrating....

Is RB a "need" position now? I hope Freddy is back for the opener! He's a vet, doesn't need the pre-season, but he is key for the opener.

Atlanta is no surprise at all, they will be good. I think the Lions will be pretty good this season...

I know, it's sad isn't it! If a player plays like ****, he doesn't give any money back. But they have 1 good season and it's time to renegotiate... Ennis would be my guess, plays the left side, had 9 points in 10 games last year. I would have liked them to keep Kennedy, but seriously, if he wasn't from South Buffalo, this would not even be discussed....

I agree. Most likely the contract negotiation sticking point is number of years as opposed to dollar amount....

I still think Kennedy will be a Sabres next season, no one will pick him up that kind of contract for a 30'ish point player. He has to clear waivers for the arbitration ruling to be void and then they will work to sign him. But this is the reason you don't let anyone go to arbitration, it's a joke. Chicago just cut their Stanley Cup winning goalie because of it...

Good post, nice to hear some optimism for a change. I don't think the Bills are the worst team in football by far. They have a ways to go before being one of the top teams, but are not too far off. Also, change Josh Evans to Lee Evans before you get hammered with sarcasm by the mistake police....

I am not doing this one myself, I'll just hire it out. I want the patio done right, not saying I couldn't learn it, but for something like this, I'll let the experts do it. I do want to tile my bathroom though, i thought about taking the Lowe's class for that.

Want to put in a new patio. Looking for any advice or recommendations in the Amherst area. We have a little cracked patio now, looking to expand. That team was built for a one year run at the SB. if you remember after that season, the Bills were in salary cap hell and let a lot of veterans go. the beginning of the rebuilding process which still continues to this day.....
