Levy set this team back 10 years easily. Terrible drafts, signing, and overall decisions. But someone was responsible for hiring a GM with no GM experience, and that's where the blame ultimately lands...

This is year 2 of rebuilding for Nix/Gailey. Usually rebuilding does not include 30 something players unless they are vital to the rebuilding process, Evans was not. Like it or not, obviously not, the Bills are rebuilding again. As you mentioned, they change GM's every couple years, so this is what you get, that's what a GM does. He builds his team, usually new GM's don't take over SB contenders. But the silver lining is that this is the GM/Coach that could make this team a contender again, I actually have faith in these guys. I believe they have a 3 year plan to be competitive and this is year 2. I am a season ticket holder and I hate the word rebuilding, because that's all the Bills have been doing the past 10 years. But I am also a realist and that's exactly what it is!

Are you saying that just because of the speed factor? If it's speed, Easley posted the same time at his combine as Evans and I am sure others are close. I'll have to look those up to verify. But, to say the Bills lost that ability is a little far fetched IMHO...

Wow, no love for Fred Jackson? I thought he looked great in limited action, he needs to touch the ball at least 20 times a game! 20 touches and he'll open up the passing game for Fitz, who also looked good in a vanilla offensive game plan...

This Bills regime isn't going to spend for the sake of spending money just to get to the cap, and they don't need to until 2013 anyway. It would have been nice to add Boss, but I never even had the slightest thought that they would go after him. This year is all about Fitzpatrick, if he has a very good year, they will reward him with #1 QB pay. if not, then they need to address the QB situation in the offseason either through the draft or free agency. It's difficult being a Bills fan because of the turnover at the top over the years. But I think Buddy and Company are doing it right. This is not a SB or even playoff contending club, although I do believe they are much improved from last year. It's a building process, I know fans are sick of hearing it. Believe me, I am too, but that's what it is. When you get a new GM every few years, this is what you get. I believe they are aligning themselves for a serious playoff push in 2013, when they have to spend X amount of dollars. Then they can add the necessary peices via FA to get to that next level. At least I hope that's the plan, because if it's not, then let's welcome a new GM and another 5 years of rebuilding ....

I'm taking the over. Buffalo is not a terrible football team, they really started to play well a couple games after Fitz took over at QB. The should have won close games last season, Baltimore, KC, and Pitt, will be wins this year. The Bills win at least 7...

It's pretty common to hyperextend or tweak a knee when coming off of a serious knee injury. You just can't do anything for a long period of time and it weakens other areas of the knee as well as the hamstring. It sounds as though it's pretty minor and nothing to be too concerned with at the moment...

When do they play in Vegas? ok bad joke, anyway I was in Vegas 3 weeks ago and the line was nowhere near 150 - 1. So, this must be an online only gambling site or something, and online site, such as this one, can vary greatly. Actually most of the links on this site are out of date, so I don't think this is very current. At any rate, when I was in Vegas, Carolina may have been that high, but the Bills were more around 100 - 1, can't remember exactly though. I did take the Sabres to win the cup, but only at 22 - 1, before free agency they were 75 - 1.....timing is everything!

I understand why they're doing it. Now that they have the big final table showdown in November, it's easy to study players styles during the tournament, so they only show the hole cards if there's a flop. Maybe they'll air the whole edited version after the winner is determined and Norm will have time to craft his jokes, he is brutal and even more so live...

Did anyone watch the WSOP live episodes? What did you think? Personally, I didn't care for them. Although some of the pro's insights were very good at times, it was just brutal to watch. Poker isn't the most exciting game in the world, especially if you're not playing, so watching some dude wait 10 minutes to make a decision just isn't good TV. On that topic, Does anyone know the number of players remaining when the tables start to deal hand for hand? Everyone could just stall if they let it go too low, but not sure what the cutoff is...

That already happened a couple times. Exactly! And it's primarily because the Buffalo teams would get close and then lose key players. But with an owner willing to spend, things may change, they can keep the key players and sign addition players. And that's what is getting fans excited...

I like Ruff, and it's a good move, even though he drives me crazy when he constantly changes the lines. But there should be more pressure on him to win now that they have an owner willing to go for it. This really should be an interesting off season. Ruff signs contract extention, Pegula pissed to be out of playoffs...
