  1. And that's where the grievence comes into play....
  2. I think there is something to this. I believe you are correct, there have been cases in the past, but I'll have to do some research. A player was healthy enough to play after being IR'd and negotiated his release. But I don't see this happening with him.
  3. There's no way this team makes the playoffs with or without Manuel. They just don't have the depth. I thought coming into the season, they were a 5 win team. But after seeing them perform on offense, with the potential of getting much better, and actually having a defensive philosophy, I was pleasantly surprised and I can see up to 7 wins. But I am much more optimistic about the future of the Bills than I have been in many years. They have some very good players in place. A couple key FA additions and a good draft and this team is playoff bound next season. The new coaching staff will learn a lot from this season, the young players will learn a lot this season, but they are still not there....yet!
  4. Nothing to add, just making sure it doesn't fall off page 1. This thread can never die...
  5. Problem is they're constipated and can't get Darcy out...
  6. The tracks were from the vacuum guys vehicle which was coming from out of town, so I took it as he was walking down a different road. Or most likely the same road, just the opposite direction towards the town.
  7. As well as, you're going to need a much bigger knife and cheer up beautiful people, this is your chance to make it right (or something like that)....great lines!
  8. He did wipe a small circle to see if the door was unlocked. Once he saw the lock was up, he got in the car. He gently closed the door, that's why none of the snow on window fell off...
  9. yes, he was right in front of the building. I realize it's pretty much the only way they could have filmed that...just funny to me...
  10. I would lean towards the AB if they hadn't put every single member in the whole complex in the same room at the same time! Talk about a true "c'mon man" moment. At least have a lookout to see if Walt has backup!
  11. Didn't watch, but someone had mentioned that to me. They still removed the watch in a symbolic, "this is it", kind of way.
  12. I don't know if Walt went to the AB compound fully expecting to die, but leaving the watch on the phone was kind of an indication that he did not expect to survive this trip to NM. I think that Walt's initial thought after inquiring about the blue meth, was that Jesse and the AB were working together. So he was intent on killing Jesse as well. When he see's that Jesse is prisoner and not a partner, he saves Jesse. But it would have been interesting to see what Walt would have done if Jesse was indeed a partner, would he have saved himself and hit the floor? I think he would have. I wouldn't want to take a few random bullets, who know where you would get hit. The only reason he caught a couple bullets was because he was on top of Jesse. So maybe Walt had a final plan in mind that he never completely finished. It could have been the money, but since he was hit he no longer cared. It's definitely something to think about...
  13. The finale went pretty much as I expected. Grey Matter gets the money to his family, ricin for Lydia, and Walt dying. I thought Walt might set the AB up and plant evidence at the Hank murder scene, but this was much better.. Walt letting Jesse live was the only wild card, I didn't know how that would go down. All said, I am very satisfied, a great final episode....
  14. Walt admitted to watching Jane die without trying to save her, how could he ever trust Jesse? It would put his family at risk, so why save him? I said that to a bunch of co-workers this past week, went over like a lead balloon. of course they are mostly all younger, so probably had no idea what I was talking about...
  15. That has to be it. We all were thinking Walt is dead, and he probably was until he saw the Grey Matter piece and a light bulb went off. We get the impression that he leaves the bar pissed at what they said, but really he leaves with a renewed hope of getting money to his family via Grey Matter. Changed my mind about 30 or 40 times today....
  16. I agree. I don't think anything is left dangling with Grey Matter, it served it's purpose with past story lines. And now it's the fuel that propels Walt Heisenberg to go out with a bang. That's interesting. I just took a look at the picture on AMC, it does look like an upscale house, so maybe Grey Matter is in play...Damn this show, I have no friggin idea what's going to happen... http://blogs.amctv.c...de-photos/#/161 was looking at BB pics and stumbled upon this classic....probably not going to want to open at work though... http://www.google.co...22&tx=105&ty=67
  17. ok, found this link with pics. Walt tells the waitress he's from NH, I don't believe there is any mention of where they actually are. Although the episode is titled "Live Free or Die" after the NH state motto, so they very well could be there. In IMDB, Lawson is listed in this episode. Not sure though, reminds me of one of the AB guys... http://www.theatlant...will-end/68156/ ok, just re-watched. the waitress says "NH, you're a long way from home. How long of a drive is that"...Walt says "about 30 hours if all you stop for is gas". She then asks about Boston, and a hint of Walt appears, he says "great science museum." But then quickly snaps out of it and goes to conduct business. great scene to watch again.
  18. Now I really have to watch some of the older shows, I am foggy on this one. But IIRC, he get a bag out of a car trunk in that flash forward after he has breakfast on his 52nd birthday. I think he was dealing with the same guy in which he got the hand gun at that motel a while back.
  19. The finale can go in a hundred different directions, so many different angles! I have no idea what will happen, but I don't think Marie will have anything to do with it. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't show her at all in the finale. She was with agents when the noticed someone broke into her home, so she'll probably be holed up in a hotel with agents watching over her, she's a non factor IMO. Walt Jr gave Walt Sr the push to go full on Heisenberg, Walt Sr is gone, the only way it should be in the end. The ricin is definitely for Lydia, I have no doubt about that, there's just no need to give us all that information when she orders tea. Todd is the wild card. He's a cold blooded killer when he needs to be, but he also has a softer side as shown when he explains the Skylar situation, gives Jesse ice cream, and he picks something off the back of Lydia. He's fallen for Lydia. So when Walt takes her out, Todd will out of revenge. I don't know how Walt will go after the AB, they have a fortress. My guess will be Walt plants something near the location of Hank's murder to pin it on them. Damn, so many loose ends and only about 50 minutes of show left....I will miss this show, took a while to grow on me, but I am hooked. BB marathon, all leading up the the finale, I'll have to re-watch a few of those....
  20. That's pretty much my prediction as well. Walt ends up alone with a ton of cash that doesn't mean anything without family.. Pic from the "leaving for a new life" scene... http://www.tv.com/sh...y-137727651543/ "Crystal" clear, I like that! And yes, they made it as obvious as they could with him holding back tears. Walt would never talk like that if he didn't know the police were listening, made it sound like Skylar had no choice, but to listen to Walt and do whatever he said. There's very little Walt says or does that isn't calculated.
  21. Really? Give credit to coach's for knowing the rules? It's a fairly common rule, it's done numerous times throughout the season. It was a bad squib kick, that's all. If you want to give them the ball at the 40, kick it out of bounds.
  22. He's been playing great. I don't know if it's the new DC's, but one thing I have noticed is that he is thinking knock down the ball first. The past few seasons, it was all about getting the interception. There were several long passes against him where he would go up with 2 hands and try to catch it, the WR would just out muscle him for the ball. Those passes could have easily been batted or tipped away, but he went for the pick every time. It would drive me nuts. This season, he is just knocking the ball down. And he's been excellent at it! He could turn out to be a really good corner with this philosophy. If he continues with this level of play, when Gilmore returns, the Bills will be rock solid at corner...
  23. It's too early to tell, it could be getting his family back. But at this point the unfinished business may very well be the Brotherhood. But there's no way Walt takes them down by himself. As ruthless as Heisenberg is, he still is pretty much a wimp. He got his ass kicked several times by Jesse who weighs about 110 soaking wet and he's no master with a weapon. His strength is strategy, so he won't take them down with violence, he'll have some sort of plan for them to self destruct or turn on one another. Either way, I am looking forward to two more Sundays of the Bills winning, followed by Breaking Bad!!!
