  1. And who do we hear this from? fans? For the record, I agree with your post regarding veteran QB's. But just because fans are saying next years first is insurance, doesn't factor at all in this years draft...
  2. I want the SB no doubt, but you have to make the playoffs first...
  3. The Browns FO said that the top QB's were only minimally better than each other, so it was a bad move to trade up...
  4. The difference between winning and losing in this league is minimal, minimal matters. Besides the Bills wanted Watkins from day 1, so they are not going to come out and say anything to tip their hand. By saying the difference is minimal makes you think they want Evans, well played Doug, well played!
  5. I know right, just imagine where the Bills would be without those 1st round picks the past 10 years...
  6. Everyone will remember Doug Whaley's first draft, that's for sure. Whether it works out or not, only time will tell. But being out at a local bar last night and hearing the cheers and seeing all the high five's after the trade and then after the pick gave me chills, it was an awesome moment. Hopefully, next years 1st round pick is in the 20's and the price doesn't seem so steep. Pretty cool that he was a Bills fan as a child as well....GO BILLS!
  7. He's 34 and has been beat up the past couple years, though he is tough. He is still a top 15 QB, but not worth 2, or even 1, 1st round pick. If Dallas is desperate to get rid of him, that price tag would be much lower...
  8. I don't believe he was NFL ready coming out of college, but he had the most upside of any QB in that draft. For that reason I didn't mind the pick and who knows, maybe the Bills truly wanted Kolb to be the man last season and have EJ watch and learn. I think he will continue to progress, but this year won't be a break out year. His development will take patience, but he is good enough at the point and time to win games, just not on his arm alone...
  9. She was on a couple weeks back. She played one of the psychopaths, Lance's girlfriend, that were locked up and then sent out on their killing spree. She goes to kill someone at a restaurant she used to work at. And then Ryan like an idiot asks her where Joe is while the other psycho is standing right behind her with a knife, couldn't tell what was going to happen after that...
  10. Her character on The Following just got killed off (1 episode), so she's done there...That will be an interesting story line, who took her and why?
  11. I don't read the comic either, but that was the chatter and it looks to be true. I think Rick put everything together and knew they were taking peoples possessions, he was a cop, so it makes sense. Yes, screaming as they ran past a box car in the inner complex.
  12. I only check out this forum for this show, so when someone mentioned it here and I thought it was out there, but would be a great call if true. But turns out there was chatter about cannibals all over Walking Dead forums because there is a group of cannibals in the comic. That along with the skeletons made it apparent for me, had I not known anything previously, I might not have jumped to that conclusion. Rick noticed the pocket watch and the person wearing the poncho and everyone with clean clothing and thought something was off. Then the lack of people of course was a sure sign of trouble. No way he knows what these people really are and that he is essentially live stock. The powdered milk box when they were walking into the train car, shows that they keep their 'stock' fed util they are ready to eat, plus the screams from the other train car shows there are more people captive, so Rick and the gang may have some time before it becomes their time...
  13. That's what I am thinking and there were a lot of candles, but seems like they are always grilling! Must have been a candle factory before this all went down. There were quite a few people at this complex, all looked pretty heavily armed. If they can afford to shoot rounds to guide them were they wanted them to go, they must be well stocked. Going to be a tough one to escape, but not much different from the Governors complex. Tyreese and Carol will obviously play a role in their escape, maybe it will help mend the issues between Rick and Carol. The one thing i noticed was no zombies around the perimete. Speaking of zombies, they are just an annoying part of the show at this point. The sound is really irritating! All in all it was a good finale to a relatively uneventful season. Next season will most likely be the search for answers, or search for the cure, to the outbreak and a roadie to Washington....
  14. Just to clarify, I meant that I thought he would handle it differently. I knew he wouldn't flat out our ignore them. I thought maybe he'd step in and try a distraction of some sort, not just flat out say I like them, don't hurt them....
  15. Interesting episode indeed. So cannibalism it is. I am sure it must have been discussed in depth in other forums and it does make sense, there just isn't mich food out there. It became clear that was the case when they kept talking about how hungry they were, so it took some of the suspense out of it when revealed. Very surprised Daryl spoke up for Rick, I guess he truly didn't know what they were capable of, even though they beat and killed one of their own. Next season will begin with a bang for sure...
  16. Can't imagine how bad that would smell, but the whole world would have a nasty odor anyway. Food has to be in short supply, so cannibals are possible, but I hope that's not that case. The one thing I find interesting about this show is that's not really about zombies anymore. The survivors are more dangerous in many ways. People don't even blink when a walker comes up on them, just a part of life. It will be interesting to see if they make it to Washington, that must be the goal eventually....
  17. So if everyone has the virus and the cannibals eat people with said virus, will they become super zombies!!! Seriously though, i don't see them being cannibals, although it's not our of the question. Seems to be some sort of cult setting, the picture of Rick in the previews looks like he's being brainwashed or something. I am looking forward to Sunday, hope it doesn't disappoint... Although when he first see's Rick, he has to play it as though he doesn't know him. He'll probably be the one to "finish him off"...
  18. 900 mil is an estimate, could be more, IRS determines that I believe. The $400 million penalty is applied only if the new owner legally breaks the lease. This would add millions in legal fees. Plus the owners have to approve the move, that may not be too difficult though with Jerry Jones leading the charge.
  19. I agree. With this latest lease Ralph bought the Bills more time to figure out how to keep the team beyond 2020.
  20. Not sure if this was posted somewhere in the 18 pages, but I'll re-post anyway.... http://blogs.canoe.c...does-not-exist/ Probably not accurate, but it makes me feel good reading it...
  21. I use Scottrade, haven't had any problems. As stated above, $7 trades...
  22. That's what I am hoping for, a trade down and Ebron! But I don't see it happening. I feel like the Bills brass are content with what they have at TE....
  23. The LOST conversation were some of the best ever on OTW.... http://tv.yahoo.com/blogs/tv-news/12-highlights-from-the--lost--paleyfest-panel-054715551.html
