  1. The Orton INT seemed to be a miscommunication with Watkins. Looked like Orton was expecting a slant pattern or something, do they break stuff like that down? Also, I would give a % of the offensive "poor play" to Orton only being on the team for a month and taking 1st string reps for a week. but even with that, I think he did a great job and got better with every possession...
  2. I like it only for the fact that it shows the Bills players care about the coach. I haven't seen anything public like that since the levy days... Also, several D players were talking about the D philosophy of JS being linked and only as strong as the weakest link. I probably butchered the exact phrase, but something to that affect. at any rate, looks like they are buying into it, they are fun to watch...
  3. Both gone. I may just hold on to what I have. I have to drop someone during the Bills bye since i don't want to flat out drop the Bills D or Carpenter, so it may not make sense to make a move now.
  4. Exactly, still time on the clock...Also I am so glad they kicked it out of the end zone on the following kickoff, instead of a stupid squib kick...
  5. I forget who hit him, but he got ROCK'd after a catch in the 4th quarter. I think the Bills remembered his little dance...It was great to see...
  6. Thank God i read this post, I was just starting to have hope....Phew....back to earth...
  7. In our league it's -2 for INT's and sacks, that's why I never take Stafford. I think he had 4 points in our league this past week.
  8. McFadden and J Bell are available My RB's are: D Sproles K Moreno R Bush Z Stacy P Thomas I am leaning towards dropping Bush for McFadden, but the Raiders are terrible and have a brutal upcoming schedule. Any thoughts?
  9. White's been an idiot since day 1 on GR, just another stupid comment. That game meant a lot to JS and it was great to see the players acknowledging it...
  10. Really? A who did they beat post.... this site really pisses me off more than not....and this is following a win.... that being said, I am thinking 5-2 in the next 7...
  11. I don't think you can go wrong with either. Personally i would go with BR so you're not hoping for Stafford TD's against the Bills... Also, Jacksonville is allowing 2.8 passing touchdowns per game, the most in the NFL.
  12. Bone headed play, I was screaming about that one. The Bills would have had the ball with 3 and change and a timeout in their pocket. If EJ converts on that drive, he most likely doesn't get benched. EJ should be pissed at Rivers.
  13. I think he just comes off as arrogant and a know-it-all. But he does know his stuff and there are many worse than he out there! I think the Bills agree that Orton is 'not like a normal back-up' with the contract they handed him...
  14. He did say he'd retire when he sucked...sooooooooooooo....
  15. We'll never truly know the answer to that. If EJ hit's most of the open receivers in that Houston game, Hackett wouldn't get a mention as the Bills would have scored 20 something points. Even though the run to pass ratio was off, I had no issues with most of the play calling. The receivers were open, it was just poor execution by EJ. So, I wouldn't say EJ was limited, but I bet some plays were called over others because of his struggles... As for Brown, "put the other guy in" is always the solution to an ongoing problem. I do like Brown, but I think Spiller and Jackson are a great 1/2 punch. The only thing that concerns me about CJ is the lack of a contract, could be why he's heading to sideline so often. I hope not, but it has to be in the back of his mind. Anyway, I think a competent QB will open up the run game, is KO good enough to do that is the question. I think he can be.
  16. very nice, i was going to suggest trading the hotter commodity, but you sounded firm on Brees. Forte and Brees are very nice...Good job! I am going to try and work some trades tonight...
  17. Just spike the ball there, that play really pissed me off, they didn't need much more to get in FG range...
  18. I like Ryan at QB, so I would make the Morris for Brees trade. I wouldn't be crazy about it. See if you can get more, and if not, take Morris...
  19. I am probably over thinking this, but here's what I have... WR Brandon Marshall Pierre Garcon Wes Welker DeAndre Hopkins RB Z Stacy R Bush D Sproles P Thomas it's a PPR league (.5 per reception), 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex.. My QB is P Manning, so my initial thoughts are: B Marshall P Garcon Z Stacy R Bush W Welker (flex) - i like the double points if Welker can find the end zone, but Arizona's D is tough... Thoughts?
  20. That's the thing, this Bills are playing well enough as a team that they don't need great QB play to win. Good QB play will win this team games, average QB play would have won the Houston game. We don't need Orton to be great, just better...

    Fitz?

Yep, could be good trade bait as well. But I think I will hold onto him a bit longer as well, I think it took a couple games to get the new offense going and I see him putting up some good numbers the rest of the season.
  22. I have to agree about Glennon. The Bucs want to run, but can't, and therefore must throw. Good targets on O and I think Glennon will have at least 30 attempts. he had some good games last season, but fumbled too much, which I believe is the reason they wanted him to hold the clip board a bit before getting back in there. Glennon last season...83.9 passer rating, completing 59.4 percent of his passes (247 of 416) for 2,608 passing yards, 19 touchdowns and 9 interceptions.

    Fitz?

Thanks for filling in for big brother, Eli! To say you far exceeded my expectations would be grossly understated....
  24. It's the home finale for NY, so most likely going to be a big ceremony. There is rain in the forecast for tonight's game, the game isn't insignificant, so no make up date if rained out. Wouldn't that be something....
