    It wasn't a tad late. It was late. Period. Kaberle was in a deep bend with no momentum, so it ended up being worse but at least he saw it coming. Of course, team Euro didn't physically respond but they somehow managed to steal two points from the most boring team in pro hockey history.

     

    I admit I didn't see the direct hit, but it didn't appear to be that late. I easily could be wrong.

    We were kind of chuckling that the Leafs didn't respond. I turned to the guy sitting next to me and said "crap, the Devs are about to get their asses handed to them."

    If I were a Leafs fan I would be embarassed that the team didn't respond.

    I wonder what the author thinks of the not entirely dissimilar hit that just sent the Leafs' Tomas Kaberle off the ice on a stretcher? :devil:

     

    I was at the game last night. The hit WAS clean, perhaps a TAD late but clean. And i say this as a non-Leafs hating fan (the fiancee is a die hard Leafs fan). I like Kaberle, and I wish it was anyone but him. He's my favorite player on the Leafs.

    You didn't hear the story?

    Ed was vacationing in LA about a month and a half ago. He visited a nude beach, where a very famous porn director spotted him. The director, after looking at Ed's massive genitals, immediately signed him to an exclusive contract for Club Jenna.

    You should be seeing him soon.

    I am really happy with the Illinois class. Zook has done a great job of pulling in talent for us here. What really floored me though was the BS article in the NYT. The followup pieces in the Trib and the Times actually do a credible job of going over the situation.

     

     

    That's OK. When Zook gets fired for going 4-8, whomever the new coach is will have a stevestojan worth of talent.

    You must have missed those threads.

     

    Long story short, Ed, who has thin skin to begin with, got perturbed by ieatcrayonz. So he posted some threads trying to figure out who was using ieatcrayonz as their alternate pesonality. In the end Ed called out most of the TSW regulars but still couldn't figure it out.

     

    I was going to say Ed has thick skin, but I fear old Bungee Monkey would turn that into a fat joke. :)

     

    Ed knows who crayonz is. :)

    Considering the Devils have won several cups, and the Mets have won a WS, I guess I'm not as cursed as you seem to think I am.

    I think it's cute how you stalk me. A tad scary, and cute.

    Yeah. Point-defense surface-to-air missiles with a 10-mile range are a real threat. :thumbdown:

     

    I don't suppose any of you geniuses here can tell me how an SA-15b SAM system is effectively deployed in a Russian-style integrated air defense network, can you? Anyone know what band search and acquisiton is performed in? Yeah, didn't think so...
