I used to be an avid reader of ancient greek literature and am well aware of how Sparta should be spelled. If you watch the movie (or just the trailer), Gerard Butler's scottish accent gives it the "taugh" sound.

The Devils play boring hockey... And at this rate without somekind of "illegal D" rule and or proper enforcement of the "new" rules... Hockey will resemble soccer... Which to many is like watching paint dry...
As much as I hate witnessing the Sabres last three shorthanded goals against them... The Sabre system makes the game exciting...
Fans want the Sabre style of play... Not boring "trap down", clutch and grab endeavors...
Hockey will gain spectators if it isn't boring...
Maybe that is the reason why Devil fans won't show up for home games? Too boring!

They both looked disinterested. After the first thirty seconds of "I lead, you lead", the rest of the world was disinterested too. It was weak and pathetic, like a guy who was coming off an injury and a guy coming off a suspension trying to prove they were no longer injured and suspended. Which, not coincidentally, is exactly what it was.
But keep trying to tell yourself that Janssen won a real fight. It won't make your car any less gay.

It was just you (and the Devs announcers). Neither one of them did much of anything. Like watching ICE and BF in an intellectual grudge match...
Peters is so much bigger than Janssen, he SHOULD have been able to kick the crap out of him.
Janssen caught him with a nice hook to the face, and Peters just kind of went limp after that.

Few points:
-Was it just me, or did Peters totally give up in his fight with Jannsen (the Devs announcers made that statement too)?

List your realistic wish list for FA and the draft on what direction you want the Bills to go. Try not to go way overboard and say something like "Sign Dillon, Rhodes and draft Marshawn Lynch". Try to consider our other needs as well as money restrictions.
Right now, I am thinking sign Chris Brown, A Train to be his back-up, and draft Michael Bush in the 2nd round after defense in the first. (And possibly Brian Leonard with our additional #3).
Lynch would be nice but we need defense badly. If we could swing Michael Turner in a trade for a #3, or perhaps even a #2, I would likely do that in place of Michael Bush.
Leonard won't be there in the third. He is guaranteed to be taken in the second, possibly first.

Of course it was late, of course they should have called a penalty, but Leafs needing every point they can get had to remain cool and wait another day to get even. They retaliate , end up with guys in the box, game over two points lost. They remained cool , to the coaches credit as he gathered team together right after this hit happened, kept it together and won game. There will be another day to have a talk with this Devil.
Don't the two teams play again in a few weeks up in Toronto? That is going to be one physical game!

Considering Bleak is like 5 inches and 50 pounds heavier than Janssen, he got his ass whipped! Belak wanted out at the end!
