I'm wondering why you've decided to do this. Is there trouble brewing in your relationship and you're concerned that she may be growing away from you? Y'all should be letting your wives know all the time that you love and appreciate them. Depending on the woman, sometimes all the actions described above just make her feel that you only want to get laid. And it may backfire on you. If your intent is sincere, then sit down with paper and pen and write her a letter. Tell her about the things that made you fall in love with her and the things that make you love and appreciate her still. Make the letter long and meaningful. Put it in an envelope and then leave it where she can find it and read it ALONE. Let her be the first one to say something after she has read it. If she doesn't say much, or says nothing........

OK - it's almost midnight and we went to Fado's. Nice - but a little quiet for two old chicks lookin' for excitement. So we went over to the Redhead Piano Bar on Ontario. It was a blast. Lot's of sing-a-long stuff. Now gotta' pack and I've had way too many vodkas.

You must be doing a good job Beerball. Texas is still there. We've partied all we can here in the Windy City - I'd forgotten what a great place this is. We head north to Green Bay tomorrow morning.

And try to find a male mentor for him (not a boyfriend or lover) as Rockpile described. Try your extended family, or better yet, Church.

Agreed. It was a funny story. But on the other hand, what Rush did to her was downright ugly. Also agreed - if you choose to go into the public eye, yes you're a target. But how does that apply to their kids who don't choose it. I still remember what the press did to Amy Carter - it crossed the line IMHO.
