Y'all may laugh...but a good quiche works well at something like this. You can make it the night before and just reheat in the microwave when you get there. And I'll bet BiB has a recipe for that too! Or you can buy one at a decent grocery store.

I agree with this guy. This problem is getting worse. And it's not the kid's fault - they don't know any better. I'm not sure why today's little kids have to "play" when they go out to eat. Is it because no one is sitting down to eat dinner at home any more? Are children not being taught to sit quietly and eat from an early age? Are they not being taught table manners? I'm also seeing that children now have the run of the house, the restaurants, other people's houses and the grocery store. What ever happened to playpens? We were put in them for a little while each day and it taught us to respect boundaries. It also kept us out of harm's way while our Mom was taking a shower or cooking a meal. Parents on this wall, please, for your children's sake, teach them boundaries and start it very early. It will pay off a hundred fold when they become teens.

We're not allowed to post our kids pics. We have to be "special" to do that. But yours is just too precious. On the other hand, perhaps the Mods could figure out a way we could do it each holiday season or something. A week long family fest when we could post a pic of our families, children, grandchildren etc. with a holiday greeting. Just like sending out those photo holiday cards to everyone.

Why not take them over near the Stadium? It's kind of cool to drive by there on Saturday evening, take pictures etc., maybe walk by the camper lot. Then you could take them to Danny's on the corner of Abbott and 20A for dinner (right near the stadium). Good food and decent atmosphere. The front desk at the Holiday Inn has pre-printed directions on how to get over to the Ralph
