I work with a 40 year old guy just like that - a real attention whore.

You know most of this wouldn't be an issue if all parents followed the #1 rule to keep your children safe on the internet....don't put a PC in their room. Put it in a public area of the house. I've watched so many shows on this subject and most parents have no idea what their kids are really doing. Don't be afraid to be a parent - your childrens' safety depends on your protection.

It's so civilized over there....you can go to a bar and place a bet on the Melbourne Cup. Interesting isn't it how companies will actually close down. And even if they don't, everything stops for the actual race so everyone can listen to it on the radio (or watch on the internet). Sounds like you're really getting into that Aussie brew Guff.

I lost my $20 in the 7th race on Aussie Rules. But then got so interested, I watched the rest of the races. Very sad to see the horse that had to be put down. Sorry, can't remember the name - too much tailgating at the Ralph yesterday.

So I'm flying in to Rochester cause I couldn't get reward seats into Buffalo. Arriving tomorrow at 4:15pm and driving over to Tonawanda. Anyone have any idea what kind of driving conditions I'm going to encounter? The weather report doesn't sound good, but I know that rain/snow bands can be very narrow. This wimp has been living in the South too long and is a little scared.
