Nothing more frustrating than traveling with someone who doesn't share your passion for what you're seeing or doing. Perhaps come by yourself next time, give us plenty of notice regarding your plans and I'm sure you'll have a better time with fellow wallers. Try the season opener!

I hear ya'. Some will say they're widowers. When in fact their wife is actually dead asleep in the next room. Then there are those who say they're "separated" . What that really means is that they have been sleeping on the couch for a couple of years. I actually find it quite entertaining. Someone with enough time should start a "glossary of terms" for dating sites. e.g. "active" means that they get up during commercials to make a samwich.

You can get TV listings online? I honestly never thought of that. I'm still impatiently scrolling through that program channel to see what's on. Why am I suddenly feeling like NJSue?

So true. I get quite a few "winks" from men in Northern Calif, Oregon and southern Washington. What's up with that? Is there a shortage of available women up there? I've been on a couple of sites over the past few years. Dated a few. Met some nice guys. Made some good friends. But haven't found that energetic, flexible, positive thinking, Bills fan that I'm seeking. I've encountered a lot of married men and liars. Kinda' like the local singles bars on Friday night. I prefer the privacy thing of an online service so you can research someone's personality and values before you waste time meeting and dating them.

Worked weekends as a receptionist in a "Massage" place. It only took a couple of days to figure out that the men customers were getting "special" massages. I stayed for a few more weeks because the money was good. But then, when the boss suggested that I "train" to become a masseuse, I quit.

Just put an extra pillow and blanket in the back for the inevitable nap on the way home. Once he's grown, he'll remember the games he attended with Dad, not how tired he was the next morning.

She must be confused. Dinner conversation? Most American families don't sit down at a dinner table. We throw burgers and fries around the Mini van to our children on the way to or from an after school soccer/baseball/football/basketball/hockey/karate/dance/cheerleading/band/choir practice.

I'm doing that this year for the first time. No Christmas at my house. My daughter and her hubby have their new house and want to do it there. So I was thinking, I won't even bother with the whole decorating thing. It's a lot of work when you're by yourself and no one will see it! I was looking forward to just catching up on chores and watching football. But today my daughter called to ask if they can borrow my (pre-lit )10' tree, ALL my decorations - including all the decor stuff that goes around the house, my outside lights and decorations, my 12 piece china set, serving dishes, flatware, wine glasses, linens etc. Why am I starting to feel that this could be even more work? Back when I used a real tree and put lights on I started at the top and had those strip thingies attached to the trunk. I'm so glad those days are over But I would recommend...if you're tempted to buy a pre-lit tree, splurge a little and buy a good quality one.
