  1. Leave at the end of the 3rd quarter and listen to the rest of the game on the radio. Then kick yourself later if it's a close game that goes into overtime. Can you set it to record it at home in case the end is worth watching?

No way you will get to BUF at 5:30 check-in if you stay until the end of the game. Take it from a seasoned traveler.

Then tell your Dad to NEVER do that again....

  2. London is an amazing city to visit. I wish we didn't always have our "International" game locked into Toronto. I would go to London for a Bills game in a heartbeat. Then I would cross the channel and go through the French wine country (dream on Diane).

And how fast does Wemberly stadium sell out as soon as their box office opens for an NFL game. Like an hour? Does anyone realize how many Americans live throughout Europe?

  3. For 2 or more - the cab would be a better price option. For 1 person, the shuttle is better. The time for the shuttle depends on where people are staying. But they usually don't have more than 3 stops. Last week I was staying the FQ and I was the first stop (30 mins).

  4. Wow! What a weekend it will be for those headed to New Orleans. Here's the latest info on the Friday/Saturday French Quarter parties and Tailgate.

NOLA Bills Backers will also host a party in the business district earlier on Saturday. Watch for their post.

    See you there!!!!

  5. Hammer's is more than just a parking lot...It's a tradition. Hammer (Eric) and his crew work their butts off to make sure everything is as smooth as possible. No matter where you are, you can always find one of the crew if you need help. As a female, I truly appreciate the green grass instead of blacktop, the "ladies" porta potties and the hand cleaner.

  6. I was bringing name tags for a few years, but when they stopped the "check in" procedure with Cindy, I got lazy. I will DEFINITELY bring them in the future so as not to burden Mead and Helen with so much to do. I get then for free.

  7. If you're flying in you'll be renting a car. Just stop at a grocery store, pick up a pack of Sahlen's hot dogs, a bag of chips and some beer. Then get yourself to Hammer's Lot (outside the stadium) on Abbott Road just south of the RV lot before 8am. When you pull into the lot, ask where Pinto Kenny.s tailgate is. Be friendly, talk to a lot of folks and give your food to the guys who are cooking on a broken down old rusted red Pinto. You'll have a blast.

  8. I can't be apathetic about this....It's a fellow Aussie. This boy was raised in Essendon, which is a suburb of Melbourne. He showed a lot of talent in junior Aussie Rules football, but baseball was his first love. Ironically, my Aussie Rules football team is the Essendon Bombers. Any of you who are parents....think about your child getting killed half way around the world "for fun". I'm sure this must hurt more than losing a son in combat.
