  1. Maybe it's ICE? But on second thought...he sounds a little more like Spiked Lemonade.
  2. Bills Backers of Quebec (THE END ZONE) Meeting Place: The End Zone Address: 6237 Plateau, Rawdon, Quebec Canada j0k1s0 Phone: (450) 834-4100 (201) 259-0877 Contact: Kim Arsenault karsenault@prestige-tel.com
  3. The schedule was way too tight for the Raiders game, not to mention the airfare. I hate to miss Bruce going on the wall.
  4. So, I have a grandchild due on Nov 30th so thought it wouldn't be a good idea to make plans for the Chiefs game. Even though it has been a dream of mine to visit Arrowhead stadium for a Bills game. But now, after thinking this through and realizing that if they induce the baby early, it will be on a week day. I can sneak out on an early flight Saturday morning and fly home Sunday night after the game. And the best part? AA has a fare for $159 round trip from Dallas. No way am I going to tell my daughters. So Kansas City here I come!!! Does this make me a bad mom? Who elso is going? (Besides Kenny and Paul).
  5. My man Jabari covered him very well in the Monday night game at the Ralph.
  6. I'm puking. Gotta' watch all the post game ass kissing from the Press to the players. Damn....
  7. Also send a PM to #89 and Lori. You'll be fine Nick!
  8. Good points Bill. Regarding Edwards - he is making great progress. We may have to start the 3 second clock on him - didn't anyone else notice that he was looking a little "Drewish"? Also, WAY too many missed tackles today.
  9. Looked like about 11 yards in our bar.
  10. In this case, I'd have to consider a metal pipe as a deadly weapon. Hitting him over the head with that could have killed the kid. Not worth going to jail for murder because your daughter has lost her cherry. Just MHO
  11. If you have extra $$ stay on the Canadian side. The American isn't as nice, but less expensive hotel rooms. I'd check with a good travel agent, or use the sites like expedia or travelocity. If you go to the Bills game, there is a Kiwi who tailgates in Lot 1 right near the "Pinto" who flies a NZ flag up high.
  12. I was in section 105 row 8. It was loud and clear.
  13. Already set the DVR. I watch that channel a lot. Love Animal Cops.
  14. Funny thing is....a zillion years ago when I came to the USA, no one played basketball. It was a girls game in school called "netball". a few months after I arrived and happened to see a basketball game - I thought to myself...what a bunch of pansies...men playing netball...and those short, tight 70s pants. LOLOLOL. Culture differences can be interesting. I do miss those tight short pants though.
  15. "Whether it is recollection of something previous or anticipation for the next evening, there is a degree of happiness," Now that's funny. So PC has finally arrived down under? What a shame, his statements are so typically the Aussie attitude I grew up with.
  16. A lot of people say that. I was born in Dubbo - spent most of the early years way out west (almost the Outback). Moved to Sydney as a teen. But also spent a few years in Melbourne. My younger brother lives in Melbourne and surprisingly, he's a Bills Fan. I didn't know it for years. He started to take an interest during the Super Bowl years. Typical Aussie - roots for the underdogs.
  17. Just about everything except Gymnastics.
  18. OK - I just can't help it. A country with only 21.5 million people can be sitting 3rd in the Beijing medal count, 10th in the history of the modern summer olympics and 12th overall (including winter olympics). That is absolutely fricken' amazing!!!! And another little known fact...Australia is the USAs most loyal ally. Having joined them in every war and conflict since the late 19th century. Just had to keep you all updated on your "Aussie" education. And the Capital is Canberra, not Sydney.
  19. As a very good young swimmer who a zillion years ago dreamed of the Olympics but didn't make enough of a commitment, I cheer for every one of these athletes regardless of the country they represent. I cheer because I appreciate a life time of hard work and sacrifice for them and their families. However, I must admit, I cheer a little louder for those in the little yellow caps. Ozzie, Ozzie, Ozzie.
  20. I work two jobs totalling about 65 hours a week. Getting to live games is a big priority in my life.
  21. Cotton Sateen (not satin). At least 500 thread count. I use 800 but I spoil myself when it comes to sleeping. You can usually find some good deals on overstock.com. And if you REALLY want to be comfy and sleep on a cloud - try the 2" memory foam overlay on your mattress.
