  1. I would agree with this. Trent seems to be injury prone. We went from concussion to a groin injury to a sore shoulder.
  2. Me too. Because of what that bastage owner did to the city of Cleveland. Heartbreaking!! But today I rooted for them.
  3. From 1.35 to 1.41 today in South Plano, Texas
  4. And the announcers also said what a great job MuckARKY was doing coaching the rookie QB
  5. Been a fan since November, 1987. I moved to WNY from So. Calif early October, 1987 and was immediately drawn in to football by the locals in my neighborhood. Haven't missed watching a game since early December, 87. Like Cablelady, I have gone through some tough times in my life and have learned that it's not just about the game, but also the memories of great parties and tailgates with friends, memories of great games (the comeback) and the four consecutive divisions championships which keep the faith. I watch every game with hope - but am not overly down when they lose. And I'm old.
  6. Interesting question for the girls on this board.
  7. I cancelled mine 2 years ago. If I attend 3-4 games in person, then add 1-2 games on regular TV - that left me watching about 10-11 games on the ticket. it was actually cheaper for me to go down to the Bills bar - have a beer and some wings and watch the game with other fans - much more fun if you're just one person.
  8. I haven't missed watching a game since 1988 and not about to start missing them now. I don't know what I'd do with my Sunday afternoons if I didn't watch the Bills or go to a game. Besides - my Bills bar here in Dallas is a blast. Cancelled the Sunday ticket 2 years ago because watching with other fans and sharing the joy/misery is great entertainment. Guess I have no life.
  9. Forget it boys....Ralph would never pay that kind of salary for an HC.
  10. And so says the Philster - King of Partiers...
  11. Perhaps the cop who gave him the tickets was a Steeler fan.
  12. I really like this idea. It directs the frustration to the right target and not at the players who I still believe are doing their best. Yep, I understand their best isn't good enough, but perhaps it would be with the right management.
  13. Very well said. I guess there is an advantage to getting old. We've been around this team long enough to know that we can get our hearts torn out every Sunday and wake up Monday morning and the darn thing is still beating. Go figure!
  14. I have a 3rd positive. My team actually played well enough to win yesterday. That's something I haven't seen in a few weeks.
  15. I learned how to drink an over abundance of Canadian Beer. I learned to eat off the front of the Pinto without thinking about the dirt. I learned how to take a bowling bowl shot without barfing. I learned that the people of Buffalo are the greatest, most down to earth people in the country. I learned the meaning of HOPE (over and over again)
  16. And an even bigger Texas hug! Merry Christmas!
  17. I've been looking all over the web for this quote of Kawika's. Can someone tell me where it is?
  18. Absolutely true. But sometimes we wish that God didn't have quite as much faith in us. Been through this 5 times in my life - the first time was when I had to leave WNY to find work. I'll pray for you. I know you have the love and support of your amazing family and you'll be fine.
